"Let us out of here!" Henry growled, as he banged on the door with all the strength he could.

The dark room he, his wife, his pregnant sister and her husband had been thrown into had just two beds. And nothing else.

"What's going on?" Tara questioned angrily, as everything was going contrary to the plan.

Henry was short of words to explain the unpleasant surprise which Alpha Charles had welcomed him with.

"Henry, what's the meaning of this?" Daya, his sister, complained as well. "I thought the reward for making the prediction was an elevation in status or something like that. What the heck is this, then?"

"Is this some sort of prank or what?" Darren, his sister's husband, demanded angrily. "Goodness, why did we even consent to follow you here in the first place."

Henry didn't have a single thing to say in his defense, as he was tongue-tied from the rude shock. How could he have fallen for a trick that cheap?
