Ripper demon

As consciousness returned to Nina, her eyes opened to an extremely blurry vision. She blinked a few times as it took her time to adjust to her current surroundings. Memories of what happened before she lost consciousness flooded inside her head causing a pounding headache.

Nina groaned and raised her hand to her forehead. Upon touching it, she only felt her scalp. She was really bald. Everything that happened was real and not a dream.

She was in an enormous room made for a king. Her body was laid in the most soft mattress ever.

When her mind went to Hannah, she quickly stood up from the bed to find her. Luckily for her, she found Hannah in the room lying on another bed with her eyes closed.

"Hannah?" She sat down beside her on the bed. Just then the door opened and a woman dressed like a maid entered inside.

"You're awake." The woman walked in with a tray of food. She kept the food on the table and turned to Nina.

"How long have I been asleep?" Nina asked.

"Two days." She replied.

Two days? Nina's eyes widened with disbelief and she returned her gaze back to Hannah.

"Report says that your friend here is still under the possession process." The girl said.

"What do you mean?" Nina asked.

"She hasn't turned into a full demon. In this stage she's in there are chances that she might not survive the it." The woman shook her end sadly.

*Cough*Cough*Cough*

Both women snapped their heads to Hannah who just coughed. She opened her eyes but didn't say anything. Her gaze was fixed to the roof.

"I think we should leave now before anything bad happens." The maid began to take cautious steps backwards.

"I'm not going anywhere." Nina shook her head.

She walked closer to Hannah and a tear escape from her eyes. She didn't want to lose the only family she had right now. She held her hand as tears flowed from her eyes non-stop.

She remembered all the beautiful moment she had spent with Hannah. Suddenly, the hand Nina held felt hot. It became so hot that her palm turned red.

Nina stood up instantly and continued staring at Hannah.

"What is happening?" Hannah asked.

"She's burning. Get me water."

The maid nodded and walked to the bathroom to get cold water. She came back and handed the bowl of water to Nina.

Nina collected it and sprinkled some on Hannah's face and she saw the small droplets of water began to burn on her face.

"It's not working!" Nina shouted. "Fill the bathtub with cold water."

The maid hurried to the bathroom and used her powers to make ice in the bathtub. When Nina placed Hannah's body in the bathtub, the ice melted instantly.

"I should call Lucifer." The maid ran out of the bathroom.

Nina looked at Hannah with worried eyes. Her white normal eyes had turned black and she was screaming in the water.

Nina pressed her body inside the water and continued to fill the bathtub with more cold water.

"Stop it!" Hannah screamed. "I'm burning up!"

Suddenly, she flew out of the water with so much force that Nina landed at the far end of the bathroom.

From the corner of her eyes, Hannah stared at Nina with her black eyes. Her bones began to snap and her body turned pale almost like paper.

"AHHHHH!" Hannah screamed making the water in the bathtub boil with speed.

Nina on the other hand began to crawl away from Hannah. She felt dizzy because of the scream. Hannah stretched her hand towards her and grabbed her neck.

"Hannah I know this isn't you. You should stop. You're hurting me." She gasped for air.

Lucifer who had teleported inside the bathroom walked closer to Hannah and placed his thumb on her forehead.

"Oh ye demon show yourself now!" He shouted and Hannah released Nina immediately.

She fell onto her knees and her skin was becoming scaly.

"What is happening to her?" One of the Elder asked.

"She is turning into a ripper demon." Lucifer replied.

The rippers were the ones locked in hell. They were locked there to until when the world would come to an end and they will be released to destroy the world.

Lucifer thought of casting her to hell but then he shook his head upon seeing how innocent she is.

Her body dried into a stage that black smoke came out of her ears, nose and mouth. They landed on top of his palm and squeezed them into a ball before putting it in his mouth.

"Is she alive?" The Elder asked upon seeing how black her body had become.

"Yes. She is a human now." And with that he left the bathroom.

Nina crawled to her and poured cold water on her body. As the water touched her skin, she slowly became normal.

Hannah opened her eyes and coughed a mouthful of water.

"Talon!" She gasped for air with fears in her eyes.

"What happened? Did you dream of him?" Nina asked.

"It wasn't a dream. I saw Talon walking with the dead and he doesn't look like...." She paused and stood up. Walking back to the room, she took a pen and book and drew out what she saw.

"This is what Talons looks like an he says these are his people." She pointed towards the dead bodies who stood behind him.

"And he told me he died because of you. He said he would take revenge—"

Nina laughed at her friend and thought she was day dreaming.

"Listen I know Talon more than you do. He was my best friend and he would never do anything bad to us. I feel bad for his death. May his soul rest in peace."

"He is not dead. I saw him, I feel like he's even here with me. He knows everything we do and he would come back for revenge." Hannah was scared.

"I think you're losing your mind. There is food for us to eat here and after that—"

Upon hearing the mention of food, Hannah forgot everything that she was saying and she hurried to the table to eat.

"There is no blood here."

Nina's shoulder fell upon remembering that she was not a demon anymore.

"Lucifer took away my powers. We need to leave here immediately."
