A False Reality Sphere
Not done touring the town, Arthur's steps were interrupted when his eyes were drawn to one point. There, he saw a crowd of people looking up at the stage.
To Arthur's surprise, a man dressed in ash-covered clothes was on the stage, kneeling while resting his head on a wooden backrest. Instead of hanging, he was being beheaded.
This was the second time Arthur had seen an execution, after he had previously seen Misa almost hanged to death for his mistake on the 10th floor. However, Arthur had no specific reason for saving this one. He didn't want to get into any further trouble.
"Today, the Night Liberators decided to hold another execution. The first prisoner is Nash, 30 years old, with the alleged crime of conspiring with Sky Sword!" said the officiant of the procession, a middle-aged man with a Night Liberator uniform attached to his body.
A man came onto the stage carrying a wooden box. The officiant opened the box and showed the objects to the people.
