The Mafia's Daughter (TMD)
"Daddy?"... I called at him and he lifted his head smiling at me genuinely.
"Yes sweetheart."... he replied as he sat beside me and kiss my forehead.
"Could you please tell me again about my story?"... I said and his forehead scrunch.
"About how you were born?"... he asked surely as he tucked my hair in my ear.
"Yes, please daddy please I wanna hear it again."... I pleaded and he just took a deep breath and smiled.
"Okay, that day I was so happy that your mom will be giving birth of you and at the same time I feel anxious because of the scream of pain of your mother. So I say push honey push, push harder I say to her. And she just gave me a look."... my father said and I giggled as I know the look of what he is saying.
"You know that look sweetheart like, your in big trouble."... he added
"And then I came out?"... I asked and he nodded.
"And then you came out."... he repeated
"But I wasn't crying."... I stated and he nodded his head.
"But you wasn't crying and they spank you, again and again and again."
"But I wasn't breathing."
"But you wasn't breathing, so I began to panic and my heart started pounding so hard and I saw your mother looking at me with pain and hurt in her eyes. And all of the nurses and doctors came rushing with all of the machines. I look at to your mother and walk into her direction and I said, 'Tell her to breath honey, she knows your voice. Tell her to breath' I told to her and her eyes lit up with hope. She tried to sit from her bed as I help her out.
'Breath little Helena breath, breath my little Helena breath.' she said and then-.."
"And then I did?"... I asked cutting him off
"And then you did."... he said and embrace me.
"And that day, I promise to myself that I will protect you from any harm sweetheart. Now go to sleep now, goodnight baby girl."...he said as he pulled my blanket up into my chin and gently kiss mu forehead before turning off the lights and he headed out.
That was last day I heard him told me that story about how I was born and that was my favorite story. He became so busy and his lifestyle became different after my mom died. I understand why but I'm here also...he became so overprotective and insensitive of my feelings that I should obey his rules and commands and I felt like I have no freedom at all.
Till I met him, he changes my life and I love it, he bought a smile into my lips and I love it, he bring joy in my life and I love it, he bring adventures in my life and I love it, he bring passion, love, and romance in my life and I love it.
Till the day comes...
"I didn't choose this life."... I cried in front of my father.
"Like it or not, chosen or not you are my daughter."...
"So your asking me to leave him?"...
"I'm not asking."... he said and then he left.
