Chapter 3:Birth Of Rudra ( I ).

Kailash...

"Brother, I can feel Pithashri. It's faint, but I can feel him," Lord Ganesha hurried towards his brother who was speaking with his vehicle, Peacock.

"I felt it too, Ganesh. Let's hurry to Mother and inform her that we've found Pithashri," Karthikeya said as he and Ganesha went to the cave where Goddess Parvathi performed her pooja.

Under one of the trees, Nandi looked very depressed, with black bags under his red eyes from crying and a thin body due to not eating properly.

Some of his friends who stayed with him in Kailash had forced him to eat, but he refused until he saw his Lord Mahadev again.

"Mahadev, where are you...?" "Lord, take me with you..."

These were the words repeatedly coming from Nandi.

Ganesha and Karthikeya arrived near the cave but hesitated before taking a step. They knew it would cause more pain to their mother.

They looked at each other and used their divine senses to confirm if what they felt was true.

They were able to see the scene in the hospital where the doctor and Shankar were discussing.

When a woman approached, they felt their father's presence faintly in the child in her belly.

"Did you see, brother? It's Pithashri!" Ganesha shouted in excitement, eager to meet his father.

"Yes, let's go and inform Mother," Karthikeya couldn't contain his happiness and rushed towards the cave.

Nandi, who was sitting under the tree near the cave, overheard their conversation and widened his eyes in shock, tears welling up once again.

But this time, it was not due to grief but because of the happiness that he would soon meet his Lord.

"Don't worry, Nandi. We felt Pithashri's presence in Boolok (the realm of humans). He will be soon born again, as Lord Narayan said," Karthikeya comforted Nandi, sharing the news they had just discovered.

While this was going on inside the cave, Goddess Parvathi was performing her pooja to the Shiva Linga.

Normally, her face would be filled with happiness during this ritual, but this time, it was filled with sadness, grief, and sorrow as she wondered when she would be able to meet her husband again.

During her prayers, she suddenly had a vision.

In the vision, she could see a pregnant woman enjoying her time with her husband.

What shocked her was that she felt Mahadev's aura in the unborn child.

Goddess Parvathi opened her eyes and started to cry while praying to the Shiva Linga.

With a bright smile, she quickly got up and moved out of the cave to inform her sons and daughters-in-law about the good news.

When she emerged from the cave, she saw Nandi begging Karthikeya and Ganesha to take him to Mahadev.

"____"

As soon as they noticed Goddess Parvathi coming out of the cave with a beaming face, they were taken aback.

"Nandi, Putra Ganesh, Putra Karthikeya, what is happening?" she questioned them with a stern voice, though her happiness was evident.

"Matha..." Before Nandi could speak, Ganesha noticed his mother's happiness and immediately asked her, not wasting any time. "Matha, did you feel Pithashri?"

This caught Goddess Parvathi off guard.

Seeing this, all three of them confirmed that Goddess Parvathi had sensed Mahadev during her pooja.

"How do you know, Putra?" she asked Ganesha with a curious look on her face.

"We faintly felt Pithashri's aura just now, so both of us used our divine sense to confirm if we were sensing correctly. We found his aura in an unborn child in Boolok,"

Karthikeya happily answered, relieved to see his mother so joyful again, as it had been a long time since he had seen her like this before his father's disappearance.

"Matha, let's go and meet the Lord," Nandi expressed his wish to Goddess Parvathi, who was filled with happiness.

Suddenly, four divine lights flashed nearby. Lord Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi, along with Lord Bramha and Goddess Saraswathi, appeared before them.

Goddess Saraswathi and Goddess Lakshmi immediately went to Goddess Parvathi's side and started talking to her, noticing her joyous expression.

"It's not time, Nandi," Lord Narayan, who had appeared, answered Nandi's question.

Kailash became filled with happiness once again, after a very long time.

After 8 months...

Shankar's house...

Gayathri sat in a chair at the dining table, watching TV and cutting vegetables, helping her mother-in-law Janaki, who was cooking in the kitchen.

Suddenly, she felt something was off. She started sweating, even though the fan was rotating at full speed.

Her child, safely nestled in her belly, began to kick and move. She felt pain, and it started to intensify.

"Ah... Maa... Ah..."

Gayathri suddenly screamed in agony. Janaki, who heard the sudden scream, hurried towards Gayathri, who was screaming in the pain of labor.

Janaki carefully supported Gayathri and helped her sit on the couch. She then grabbed the telephone and called Shankar to inform him.

Ring... Ring...

Call connected...

"Hello?"

"Shankar, it's me."

"Mom, what happened?"

"Gayathri suddenly started having labor pains. I'm taking her to XYZ Hospital."

"Mom, be careful while traveling to the hospital. I'll be there."

"Come fast. You should be present when the child is born. And inform the others."

Call ended...

After the call, Janaki supported Gayathri by holding her hand and shoulder, slowly moving outside. Shankar's father, Chandrakanth, entered with a basket full of vegetables and a packet of milk.

"What happened, Janaki?" Chandrakanth asked when he noticed Gayathri screaming in pain, with his wife by her side, supporting her to move.

"It's labor pain. Go and get an auto," Janaki hurriedly asked her husband to call an auto.

Chandranth quickly ran to find an auto, leaving the basket of vegetables on the table.

After a few minutes, Janaki heard the sound of an auto approaching their house.

"Janaki, the auto is ready. Hurry up and be careful," Chandrakanth hurried towards Gayathri and Janaki, supporting Gayathri as they made their way to the waiting auto outside.

After carefully placing Gayathri in the auto seat, Janaki sat beside her, while Chandrakanth sat beside the driver. The auto hurried towards the hospital.

While traveling in the auto, a heavy storm began outside, with dark clouds covering the sky and loud lightning flashing amidst the darkness.

XYZ Hospital...

Outside the delivery room, Janaki and Chandrakanth sat with worried expressions, while Gayathri screamed inside the delivery room, experiencing labor pain.

A nurse emerged from the room and walked towards the couple, holding a form on a writing pad.

"Did the patient's husband arrive? We need his signature on the form," the nurse asked the couple, her expression stern.

"He will arrive any moment. You can start the treatment," Chandrakanth urged the nurse to begin the treatment.

"The treatment is underway, but we require the signature of the patient's husband," the nurse answered calmly.

As this conversation took place, Shankar hurriedly ran towards them in a panic, relieved to see his parents outside the delivery room.

"Shankar, here he is. He is the husband of Gayathri," Janaki pointed at Shankar, who had just arrived.

Shankar quickly signed the form and handed it to the nurse. She checked the form and walked inside the delivery room.

Shankar felt tense hearing his wife screaming in pain. Memories of the accident resurfaced in his mind. He prayed to the picture of Lord Ganesha on the calendar near them.

His father placed his hand on Shankar's shoulder, who was on the verge of tears and panic, reassuring him that nothing would happen to Gayathri and their newborn.

After some time, Abhinaya and her husband Vinayak arrived, followed shortly by Nandhan and Sudha, who hurried towards the delivery room.

"Mapla (son-in-law), is Gayathri alright?" Nathan stood beside Shankar and asked him, his eyes filled with worry.

"She suddenly had labor pains while watching TV, right after we arrived at the hospital," Janaki answered, reassuring Sudha, who was panicked, looking at the room where her daughter was screaming in pain.

Outside the hospital, heavy rain poured down due to the storm. The sky was covered with dark clouds, and the wind blew fiercely.

On the TV in the hospital, the news host warned citizens to be careful during the storm and advised fishermen to avoid going out to sea.

"Ah... Ah..." Suddenly, Gayathri's screams intensified, causing everyone outside to become even more tense.

Then, the delivery room fell silent.

"Waa... Waaa... Waaa..." After a moment, the cry of a newborn baby resonated from the delivery room.

When Shankar and the others heard the baby's cry, they started congratulating Shankar on becoming a father.

With the newborn's cry, the dark clouds that had covered the city suddenly dispersed.

The sun's rays broke through the sky, and birds began singing joyfully as they flew through the now-clear sky.

Inside the delivery room, the doctor saw the newborn and was shocked. Her eyes widened as she looked closely at the child's forehead.

"What is this? A birthmark? It looks strange, but it suits the cutie," the doctor analyzed the mark on the infant's forehead.

The nurse stood beside the doctor.

"Doctor, everything is ready to clean the infant," the nurse informed the doctor who was examining the child.

"I will do it myself," the doctor said and went over to the warm water that had been prepared.

Gayathri, who had fainted after the delivery, was moved to the normal ward. Shankar and the others waited outside the ward while Gayathri rested.

After some time, the doctor came out of the delivery room, carrying the infant in her arms, wrapped in white clothes.

"Congratulations, Mr. Shankar. You have a healthy baby boy," the doctor said with a bright smile, handing the infant to Shankar, who carefully took the baby in both hands, treating him like a fragile flower.

When Shankar saw his son for the first time, he was stunned. His son had beautiful eyes that seemed to hold a sense of wisdom.

The charm the baby possessed completely mesmerized him.

Not only Shankar, but the other family members also stood in awe, captivated by the infant's charm.

"Seems like Mr. Shankar is stunned by his son's charm," the doctor said, smiling, before leaving the room.

"Shankar, you need to give him a good name. I won't allow you to spoil his name," Abhinaya looked at the infant and warned her brother to be careful while choosing a name for him, knowing his naming sense quite well.

Shankar felt embarrassed by his sister's words, while the rest of the family burst into laughter.

Suddenly, his attention was drawn to the calendar in the normal ward, where Lord Shiva and his family appeared happy.

"Rudra," he whispered.

The room fell silent.

"What did you say, brother?" Abhinaya asked, confused by her brother's low voice.

"My son's name is Rudra," he declared loudly, which made the child in his arms giggle, gazing at his father's expression.
