(7) Moon elves

"Now, I'm ready to go!"

Jake had just discovered after waking up that shopping was done in the system as well. From what the system showed, he had a lot of money, so he spent it on fancy travelers coats and potions, food etc.

He went outside, and there was no one outside for now. Everyone were inside probably getting ready for the party.

Jake walked outside and went to the location to see that the old man was already leaving tbs place.

"Hey old man wait!" Jake shouted.

"You finally here, I was about to leave without you!" The old man said shaking Jake's hand.

Jake and the old man bought two horses for themselves, and went off for the Dark Elf's Kingdom.

To not be recognized, Jake wore a brown coat with a cape on it. They walked outside the Kingdom's main city and were now off.

'I know I should've at least told them that I was leaving, but I barely know how many people know me, and how popular I am,'

Jake decided to skip the goodbyes because it would be too complicated. From the amount of people he owes money to the people who don't want him to go, the old man would've left before he even had time to say goodbye to everyone.

"Old man, why are you called dark elves, is it because you are evil?

" We are called dark elves because we can perform Galland's dark magic,"

"The one Zelda beat? So that's why, you guys surely have an affiliation with Galland then,"

"Alright, let me tell you the story of Galland, and Princess Zelda who gave birth to a dark elf,"

"Princess Zelda... so the one who saved the world was a woma~ a female elf?"

"Indeed, a lot of people misunderstand, but only a few people know the real story,"

Once upon a time, millions of years ago, before there were different branches of elves, before there was just a race of elf, the moon elves.

The moon elves are the most powerful type of elves, they extract their power from the moonlight, and had mana zone flowing all over their body, they had absolute power and mana.

During those glorious times of the elves, no one would dare challenge us, not even the orcs. We had the most power generals, and soldiers. The most powerful general amongst them was Galland Ludlow.

He was handsome with long blonde hair and a silver armour which made the ladies fall to their knees.

On the other side, there was the royal family, who were privileged with the most powerful type of mana, light mana.

Light mana buffs normal mana by 50% meaning that even if you weaker than your opponent, light mana always gives you a chance to win.

Everyone praised and respected them for their destructive power and their kindness, however, Galland was jealous, he wanted to be just like them. He wished to be part of the royale family himself.

He started a rebellion which decided the elves in two and eventually, the royale family won. As a punishment, Galland as his soldiers were threw in the pit of Mordred, a prison which tortures you for thousands of years. Galland swore for vengeance against the royale family.

This seek for power and vengeance created something inside of him that developed to become dark. That's how dark magic was created.

Galland shared his dark magic amongst his soldiers, and that is how the dark elves came to life.

They managed to escape the pit, and attacked the Kingdom destroying everything in his passage.

Even the royal family was defencless against such powers. However, Zelda, a brilliant and strong woman appeared from nowhere claiming she was teleported into this world after her sudden death in another.

Her power was incredible, it seemed like every dark elf she would eliminate made her even more powerful.

After a ferocious fight, Zelda finally won, and for events such as a second Galland to never appear, she stripped away the incredible power of moon elves, and concealed it deep inside of her dying with that immense power.

This is why only have a small mana zone, and that we level up at such a slow speed

That is how the rise of different races of elves happened and the rise of the orcs happened as well.

"So Zelda girl, she was a moon elf?"

"Yes she was, some say she was a green elf, a white elf etc. but she was a moon elf,"

"And she came from another world?"

"From what my elders told me, yes..."

'That means sh surely went through the same thing as I'm going through! This war, this situation, everything is scripted for me to become the next her!'

Jake started to feel excited about the fact she and Zelda were linked. However, there are still a lot of things he doesn't know, and he will soon understand that their destiny is very different.

'For now, what I must think of is leveling up, apparently there are loads of beasts and dungeons in Tirion, I'll be able to level.up fast, but I don't know for how long I'll stay,'

In the kingdom of Tirion, there are so many beasts because of all the negative mana which is concentrated in the Kingdom.

Dark elves are reputed to be very unfriendly when it comes to foreign elves because of how the foreign elves think of them.

The Kingdom of Tirion is covered of dark clouds, and all the buildings are black. It has the largest castle of the 9 Kingdoms, and most of the poor elves live outside the city.

The King of the dark elves is called Armageddon. They fly on large eagles made of dark dust.

Unlike the other elf kingdoms, they so not use Mana crystals, so they live completely in the dark.

Jake and the old man walked for a whole day, and they had already left the Kingdom. The next day, they had arrived at the Kingdom
