Chapter Thirty-Five

"Ro- I mean Morgan try this!" He hands me what looks like a crepe and I tentatively took a bite. Yum it's a crepe, it's is so good~ I melted into the taste and hummed in satisfaction. Both boys laughed at me and I ignore them as I munched through my crepe.

"She really likes it!" Lance exclaimed and Arthur nodds seriously. I polished it off quickly and grinned at them.

"That's super good, but we better keep moving!" They nod and we link hands and continue on down the cobblestone path.

"Stay quiet and don't attract their attention!" Arthur hissed and we both dug into the fried bread we had just bought and tried not to attract the attention of the two bird brains. They looked like they were searching the town. They must have noticed us gone... Oh dear the scolding were going to get! I munched happily when they spotted us three and flew over.

"Arthur! Rose and..." Their furious expression only got darker seeing the Lance.

"Lance why are you helping them!" Raven snapped and they shrunk back. I looked up innocently at him as I ate and his expression didn't soften.

"Why would you take her out of the castle when she hasn't recovered fully yet!" His expression only got darker and the two shrink back even more. I couldn't use magic right now, my body was too weak. But we stopped to sit down every once in a while so I was fine.

"H-how did you know?" Raven scowled darkly at us before explaining how he had seen through the disguise

"I can see through magical disguises to a degree." We nodded in understanding, and I finally finished my bread and seeing my hands now empty, and me having nothing other then the bag on my back he sighed. Then Sparrow reached down and picked me up.

"Ekk!" I cried in surprise, but he held me tightly before scowling and the boys.

"Follow us, were going back to the castle. If you want to keep those amulets you had better hide them and cancel the effects." We all canceled the effects and hid them under our clothes. I layed in Sparrow's arms as he walked us back to the castle in the late afternoon sunlight. The two boys sulked as we walked all the way back to the castle and we all received reprimands from the adults, other than the king who was dumb enough to congratulate us on escaping and got punished by his wife.
