Visit from a friend

"What the hell is his deal anyway?" she asked as she sat up and pouted.

"Your presence is needed back at home," someone said and Seraphina's eyes widened as she got out of bed and went to freshen up, ignoring the voice completely.

When the girl finished, she changed into a long black, fine bottom pants with a blue top and a jacket, then put on her shoe and left the mansion.

'Seraphina" someone called out and she turned around then saw it was Paisley.

'Paisley hi" she said.

'You didn't come to astronomy class this morning, so I was wondering what's up? are you feeling well? do you not have training?" she asked.

'Well first no I am not going to train today and as for feeling well my answer is sort of, I will meet you when I return, I am going for a little walk in the meantime" she responded and Paisley smiled then she left.

While walking the street, she sensed someone following her and she sighed.

'I know you are following me, don't get me on my nerves" she said.

'You need to return home" the person replied and Seraphina scoffed.

'I will send you back with a broken arm if you try anything stupid" Seraphina said as she stopped and looked at the river and the boats passing by.

The girl braced on the rail looking down at the water and the person took off the hood and looked at Seraphina.

"You are not planning on going back without a fight are you Seraphina?" she asked and Seraphina looked at her then smiled.

The girl was tall, slim, had long curly red hair, fair, red eyes, and very pretty.

"You shouldn't have come here," Seraphina said and she grabbed her by the arm.

'You are my best friend, why wouldn't I come? you are going home" she replied and Seraphina sighed then moved her hand away from her and looked at her sternly.

'I have a competition to prepare for, don't get in my way" she said and the girl scoffed.

'You are going to take part in this stupid, vile completion with these beings that wants to see you dead?' she asked in an angry tone.

"Yes I am, I want to sign a peace treaty with them, for their sake and my people, mother won't be able to do it, but if like this I am able to be their friend, then this might benefit us" she responded and the girl sighed.

'Seraphina that belief will be your undoing, let's just go home, they are the ones that wanted the war anyway, so who cares if they die or live?" she said.

"That's enough Kyra, this conversation ends here, that's it" she replied.

"If you don't stop I will enter the competition, fight you, and if I won will you come home?" she asked and Seraphina looked at her sternly then sighed.

'If you win... yes" she responded.

'Even if I don't I will use any means necessary to take you home, you are my best friends but I have an order" she said and the girl scoffed then looked at Kyra.

"You know how I am Kyra, give it your best shot and see what happens" she replied then walked away and Kyra disappeared.

'Now I am in serious trouble, I have to find out if we are only getting an announcement tonight or we will be leaving too" Seraphina said as she went to the castle and the guards gave her permission to enter and as she did, she walked inside of the castle in search of the brat prince.

'Uh.... excuse me is the prince here?" she asked one of the maids.

'Yes ma'am, he is in his room" she responded.

'Thank you" she said.

'No problem" the maid replied then left and Seraphina went to his room and knocked on the door but got no answer and since the door was open she entered.

'Your highness" she called out as she entered the room and at the same time the prince came out wrapped in his towel and she gasped then his eyes widened as they left staring at each other.

'Why are you in my room?" he asked as she stared at his abs and he smiled wickedly as he walked up to her and her eyes widened when she turned away from him with her face red and he scoffed.

'Are you a pervert?" he asked and her eyes widened as she clenched her fists.

'No I am not, this is a mistake I only came to see you regarding something" she responded and he smiled.

'I am changing though I don't mind if you turn around, you are a girl, you can see" he said and she sighed.

'Please stop getting the wrong idea here your highness" she replied as he changed into a robe and sighed.

"You can look," he said and she turned around slowly then looked at him.

'I am half-dressed, tell me what you want?" he asked.

'Are we just waiting for the announcement or will we be leaving tonight?" she asked and he looked at her sternly.

'We will be leaving tonight, go back and pack your things, the announcement will be made in a few and also the kings and queen decided not to announce whom your matches will be against, they changed a lot of things, I know, after all the tournament was decided at the last moment this year" he responded.

'I understand your highness" she said.

'Good for once I am glad you do, now get packing because we will be going by the now built magic train" he replied and she smiled.

"Okay, thank you for your time," she said with a curtsy and he smiled as she left the room then the girl frowned.

'This is starting to get a lot more complicated than I anticipated" she said to herself as she walked out of the castle heading back to the mansion.
