Unexpected Match

Later that day when night feel Seraphina got ready and went downstairs where the prince was waiting for her and she smiled.

'Ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, so this is what exactly?" she asked.

"The beginning, the welcome ceremony, also there will be a few matches tonight, two I think" he responded as they walked out of the castle, heading to the arena beside it.

The arena was really big, had metal fences and lighting rods at the top, very secured.

Upon entering her eyes widened as they sat down at the very top of the arena the VIP section made for the royals alone.

"This place is packed," she said as the looked around and saw Jack and he smiled at her then she sighed as the kings and queen came out to address everyone and after doing so the prince's father announced the very first match between the two girls from two different kingdoms. and one of them was Kira.

'Isn't that the girl who you were talking to?" the prince asked.

"Yes, she was" she responded as she clenched her fists and Kira smiled.

'What is she planning on doing?" Seraphina asked herself as the bell rang and the girls rushed at each other as a fireball formed in Kira's hand and she threw it at the girl causing the fire to send her and everyone gasped as the girl scored and she fell to the floor unconscious then the fire went out.

'Winner is Kira" the judge shouted and everyone cheered.

"This is not good" she mumbled.

'Why not? are you afraid that you might have to be the one fighting her?" the prince asked and she scoffed.

"If i am to fight her, she will regret ever coming here that's for sure" she responded as Seraphina's name got called and she gasped.

"Father" he called out as his father came.

"Let her fight against Zack" his father replied and she looked at the prince as she got up.

"Faher with all due respect Seraphina is not ready for this, this is moving way too fast," he said.

"This is her match to prove herself, nothing I can do about it son" he replied and she clenched her fists then sighed.

'Your highness, it's fine" she said as she walked down the stair and went onto the ground directly at the center of the arena and everyone was looking at her smiling.

'This is uncomfortable" she said as she squeezed the handle of her sword and a guy in a hood came up to her and he smiled.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi.." she replied.

"Zack," he said.

"Seraphina" she replied.

"You are a beauty, are you sure you are supposed to be here fighting Seraphina?" he asked.

'Meaning?' she asked.

"Meaning this is no place for a pretty girl, back off now and I won' go easy on you if you don't," he said and she smiled then looked at him as he took off his hood. he was tall, had black hair, blue eyes, fair and was very handsome.

"Don't talk down on me just because I am a girl, I might be the one to win this thing" she replied and he laughed as the bell rang and he rushed at her but she dodged him by pulling aside and he gave her a smirk as he appeared before her and kicked her into the wall.

'Damn it" the prince and Liam said as they looked at her and he rushed at her with his sword in his hand and her eyes widened as she jumped up doing backflip mid-air and kicked him in the back as he spun around grabbing her by the arm.

'Oh on" she said and he winked at her.

'He is fast I will be screwed if he hits me" she said as he flung her to the ground hitting her head against the concrete, her head started bleeding and Kira gasped.

'Seraphina, above you, she shouted as the guy came at her from above panning to stomp her in the stomach but she moved out of the way then kicked him directly by the side of his neck sending him flying and Kira smiled as Seraphina held onto her head which started spinning and the prince sighed.

'That guy is really fast, he has fire powers too, she has to be careful" Aurelius said.

'You are right" Liam replied.

"Give up sweetheart," Zack said and she scoffed.

'Not a chance" she said as she pulled out her sword and he was about to attack her but she moved so face that no one saw her. and struck him on his feet causing him to collapse onto the ground and Aurelius smiled.

'She is using her own speed against him" Liam said as he got back up with his eyes and arms glowed bright yellow and she smiled as his body glowed and he blew fire at her but she placed her sword before her and as the fore came her way and jumped up in the air and spun around kicking him into the wall and the fire went out.

'You are good, I underestimated you" he said with an evil smirk as he got up and she started seeing double as her blood ran down her cheeks.

'Oh no, this cannot be happening now, I will lose if I keep up like this" she mumbled as he was about to attack him and she backflipped then blocked his sword from hitting her by using her feet which got cut but it dint' meter she grabbed the sword out of his hand and punched him to the ground while panting.

"She is losing steam, the hit she got in her head is going to bother her, he just has to hit her once and that too really hard and everything will be over, he will win," Liam said.

'You are right and seems like she managed to piss him off by not going down fast, she is now in what one would call real trouble" Aurelius replied.
