Three hours ago, Rosemary, Cain, and a few others left in chase of the old man and when they followed him to an entrance to a cave they returned to join the others. Meanwhile, while they were out on the chase, thieves and some group of bounty hunters come in to attack those that were left behind.

The attack came as a surprise not even giving Coral, Lucy, Michael, and the rest of the others a chance to organize their defense and send the rest of the groups to safety.

immediately, guns began to blaze and the thieves and bounty hunters began killing the innocent who did happen to be in a safe position when the killers come. Shooting began to take place and it was all hands on Dec. Josephine, Noah and many within their age group and those older than they are were given weapons so that would engage in the battle.

Hence, the sound of the shootings traveled as far to the ears of Rosemary and the rest of the others kilometers away. Quickly, they began running fast with their horses so they could go in and help the others.

Meanwhile, the old man succeeded in making his exit out of the cave and going to see his men standing at the other end of the cave waiting for his order to join the others in swiping up Rosemary and her friend.

Hence, When he received the news of his friend being injured he was compelled to back to what he does best, which is, penetrating any organization, group, and City.

Furthermore, Before choosing to disguise, Old Pelo created a strategy that will help in finishing up Rosemary and the rest of the group. He makes sure his men are well-positioned to attack. And later, he will join his large forces waiting up north, and together they will all engage.

Meanwhile, Coral, Michael, and the rest of the groups are in a serious battle with the little fleet of bounty hunters and thieves that were sent their way.

While the battle was on, Noah tries to make a run so he could rescue a small child that was trapped in the middle of the crossfire. Lucky, for him, he was able to get to the child that was taking cover behind a big stone, But unlucky, for him too, he was hit by a bullet while he was on his way back from rescuing the young child.

Accordingly, After seeing Noah was short down and was struggling to get on his feet, and as well carrying the child with him, Josephine exposed herself by running towards the shootout to rescue him and the child.

Quickly, Coral hogged everyone to cover her as she was about to make a run. Hence, everyone responded positively by increasing the value of gunfire that was being shot at the enemy ( bounty hunters and thieves).

Nevertheless, she engaged gently by keeping her head down until she gets to where they were, and she wasted no time before she help Noah back on his feet and told the little child to stay at her immediate front, and together they all struggled back to join the others.

Furthermore, Before they were able to get to join the others to take cover, Noah was hit by a bullet, this time it is more delicate they the first which was just a stash. The bullet went through his chest close to his heart causing him to fall completely to the ground.

Therefore, this became a challenge to Josephine because she will have to drag Noah until she reaches the other side where Coral and the others are. Thus, she kept pushing and testing her strength not until she got to her destination where her people were.

Subsequently, when she arrived the first thing Michael and an elderly woman with medical expenses did was to attend to Noah by trying to remove the bullet from his chest. And also, attending to his right hand that was scraped by a bullet.

Thereon, the battle kept getting intense and bloody for both sides because they were both losing a good fighting man. Mostly, the bounty hunters and thieves were reduced to seven fighters still standing, which dissolved the courage they had when they first arrived.

Furthermore, Due to the loss of men, the invaders decide to run for their lives and not wait until they are getting killed or captured.

Consequently, the process of them trying to escape turns out to be a wrong move. This is because it exposes them to more danger due to how open they were while running and bullets could hit them any angel since they are no huge rocks to hide close by.

Thereafter, As e result, six of the invaders were gunned down by very good shooters before they could outrun Coral and the others.

While Coral and the others were on their way running to finish them up, Rosemary and the others came from behind and stopped them from making the chase and told them something that wasn't any good news.

"Rosemary said to Coral and the rest, saying, What you'll just face is nothing compared to what is about to come next, I believe the Old bastard is planning something dangerous since he knows our strength and weakness."

She continued by saying, "I believe on level ground we won't be able to withstand their forces, So I say we should hurry to the mountain tops where we could at least have an advantage."

At this point, they had nothing to do or say than to do whatever was necessary to stay alive, and to make sure they deliver their spoil and farm produce to Queen Myer so as not to call for their Doom.

Immediately, they started packing up and ready to leave for the mountains after a few disappointing conversations.
