The Lady In Black, Part Forty-Six

Zenith's eyes narrowed as she surveyed the incoming players. 

[Let's see what we're working with.] 

They ranged from 15 to 20, a formidable force that outnumbered them significantly.

She knew that despite her and Syneris's superior levels, this would not be an easy battle.

Without hesitation, Zenith charged forward, her greatsword gleaming under the moonlight. 

One particularly energetic grunt volunteered to be Zenith's first opponent.

"AAAAAAGH!" He cried out, longsword raised to the sky as he moved to end Zenith's life. 

With a single fluid motion, she cleaved through the swordsman, his body falling in two halves at her feet.

Zenith felt someone approaching behind her, and Zenith instinctively dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the assassin's blade as it sliced through the air.
