Afterlife prison

When the darkness surrounded him he found himself within familiar walls. "Surrounded by the dark sea this long Afterlife prison's walls never let anyone run from here" , an old man says while drinking the cup of wine sitting inside a cell. He continues "I will not blame anyone else as it's my own doing because of which I am here . Today is my last day , tomorrow I will be executed but before dying I want to share my life time experience with someone".

Wang Zhengyu who was sitting right opposite to him placed his cup of wine on the table and ask , " What did you learn by killing the innocent people making them orphans and widows. What probably you could tell anyone when your hands are stained with the blood".

The old man chuckled, " I know...I know Wang Zhengyu,You might believe that I am blabbing nonsense but believe me never ever trust anyone blindly. I have conquered the whole south after killing millions of people but in the end I found that I was just a puppet of someone's hands . My life was actually never mine . Therefore Before acting on impulse always think twice that your actions are really what you want to do or you're also a puppet ".

Wang Zhengyu place the empty cup on the table and said, " Thank you for your wonderful advice. But I am not you and I do what I want and specially I am not someone's so called puppet".

The old man chuckled, " you spend your most of the life here in the prison preventing the criminals from escaping from the prison you will not understand it now . But when you enter the real world you will understand what I meant."

After saying this the old man finishes the wine and while smiling he closed his eyes for ever.

Wang Zhengyu get up and come out of the prison . With his slender body and broad shoulders he looks not less the immortals . His dark black eyes and long black hair enhanced his beauty and when he smiles he looked like a harmless teenager no one can tell that this harmless child in actual was son of jailer who deals with the demons , monsters and criminals everyday.

Wang Zhengyu spent most of his life in the prison because his mother was a prisoner. She gave birth to him in the prison. Where the Jailer and his wife adopted him after his mother was released because she cannot take the responsibility of child.

Only a few among the thousand of prisoners get released but for that they have to cross the black sea which never let any prisoner go only the royal guards can cross the sea . That's why when her mother was released she insures the child with The jailer and his wife because she knows she can't protect him and after that this prison becomes his home. 17 years have passed but he never received any information about his mother. He even don't know whether she is alive or not .

He was sleeping in his office when he hears the heavy foot steps. The noise was enough to bring him to his senses. All the sleepiness in his eyes flew away when he saw the tall figure standing infront of him in the black cothes with a Dragon embroidered on it with golden thread .

"You were sleeping again", the man said in a loud but calm voice.

Wang Zhengyu immediately stand up from the chair and went towards him. He hunged his arm on the man's shoulder and said in playful tone," Jailer Huang Pengxi I am your son not a prisoner. I don't think any father will force his son to work like owl."

Huang Pengxi shook his hand and twisted his ear slightly which make him scream in pain, " I think I have spoiled you much . You little brat dare to talk me like this . Next time if you call me by name I will tied you upside down on the tree and the beat you with a whim".

"Ouch .... Ouch ... Father it hurts . I understand I will never again dare to do this ", Wang Zhengyu said and Huang Pengxi leaves his ear and chuckled slightly. He slightly patted his head and said in a soft voice, " Now you don't have to work like a owl in the night " .

Wang Zhengyu brows frowned slightly as he asked " Not have to work means".

Huang Pengxi cupped his face and says , "Guess you have been selected in the imperial academy and you're leaving tomorrow for the imperial city".

After listening this Wang Zhengyu was on cloud nine . He hugged Huang Pengxi and screamed in happiness like a madman.

"Haa..haa. ok ok it's enough go and pack your things you and Ren wuhao will have to leave early in the morning". Huang Pengxi said and Chuckled.

Wang Zhengyu immediately leave for packing his belongings. While Huang Pengxi kept seeing him from the back with tear at corner of his eyes.

Next day he leaves the Afterlife prison with his best friend Ren wuhao and a guard named Xue Congming.All the prisoner bid farewell to him with teary eyes because in the prison if anyone care about them it was only Wang Zhengyu. They also gave him tons of letters which they wrote for their family members.

Wang Zhengyu was standing at the top of the ship watching the waves of the dark sea .

The fresh air was playing with his hairs and he looks like a maiden standing their . Its his first time out of the Afterlife prison.

Although he will miss the prison because all in all the prison was his home and he has spend an unforgettable time at their. But he is happy because now he can explore the outer world which will be completely new for him . He was feeling the butterflies in his stomach and the eagerness of reaching the imperial city .

On the other hand Ren wuhao was lying in the ship because of sea sickness and Xue Congming was watching the map and ordering the slaves .
