Chapter 11 The scroll

The owner could not take the guilt disturbing feeling any longer and told Josief the direction.

"If you walk straight shops, turn left and after that walk straight for some time you should then find it." the owner said to Josief.

"Thank you so much for your help, sir! I hope that there were more kind people like you sir in this world." Josief cupped his hands and thanked with such a kind warming smile, that you would rather think it was a real than a fake.

"But, before i go i should buy something as a present for my grandpa"

Josief said and then went deeper inside the shop. He walked straight too where the energy came from. He saw many strange objects, some of them had a low price, while others had the price of something that was meant to suck you totally dry of money.

When he had finally came to the place where the energy was surrounding. He found an open box with a ripped scroll part inside. Josief was confused what kind of scroll it was. There were nothing that stood there, it was just completely blank.

Josief then just took it to the owner and asked how much. Usually sellers would try to exhorted more money than what the product costed, for more profit.

But this was just a poor, dirty looking teenager who looks like he doesn't even have ten yen. He looked at the ripped scroll, he inspected it to see if it was something special about it. After the inspection the owner said.

"hundred and fifty yen! That is the price, but i can try to make a discount for you boy and go down to ten yen. If you can pay hundred yen then its yours." the owner said while giving fake look of struggle just to fool him.

If it was any other young teenager it would have, but this is Josief. Against his million years of experience of life how could a normal mortal fare against that.

Josief made a gloomy face as he heard the price and looked at the owner.

"Sir, i have just eighty yen left. Could you lower it just down a bit." Josief pleadingly said while he had taken out eighty yen coins.

Which was a complete lie as. Dirtying himself, making himself look poor and useless. All that for the sellers to misjudge him and make it believe able of his bids. As there are people who judge by the apperance, which is normal but The owner snatched them and putted them and then looked at Josief.

"This..This will do, you can take it and go away."

Josief was kicked out from the store. He then began to walk in the direction he had been pointed, but as josief walked further and further away from the shop, his face slowly turned from looking weak and pathetic to demon.

When he had reached the destination he could finally see it the "Blooming apothecary"

As he went inn to the shop, he saw a group of bodyguards behind a women who seemed to be in a hot discussion against an old man before her.

The old man looked like he was in his late sixties. While his appearance giving off a splendid admirable feeling. His short white hair reaching his ear and his body not giving of any pale or old appearance but instead giving signs of looking healthy and fresh, that was not all he was a cultivator. Josief could feel his energy cover his body.

"A Qi refining stage 5 here!! How is that possible, The awakening should have not happened yet." Josief was now bewildered as how a such strong cultivator could cultivate at this state of energy in the environment. The energy in the earth is thin and

The awakening was an incident, which was that a cosmic energy storm from an other universe had passed through our universe but it stead of causing destruction, it reshaped the laws of our universe. It strengthen and increase both the universe and the energy in it. Earth was also inflicted and the energy also increased significant, which also awakened many people and made them cultivators.

The people had start an organization called "The Immortals" to amass all those who became cultivators. The numbers of awaken cultivators grew for each day so to make it easy to deal with them, a way was made and that was to find out their talent. The method of the ranking of talent followed through like this:

S-talent being the Highest and those that had were people high in social status. Usually, people who had it were either people from the 4 big families or the other rich second generation. Their usage of energy and speed for replenishment to their energy was the best and fastest.

A-talent being high talent, which only mostly the people that had it were above average celebrities or very known. For A-talent their usage of energy and replenishment to themself was faster and better than ordinary people.

B-talent being average talent. Most cultivators had B-talent. Those with B-talent had ordinary usage and their replenishment speed was complete ordinary.

C-talent being the lowest talent. They were looked down on and seen as useless thing, because of their talent beings so low which their usage and replenishing of energy was also slow and little.

Josief had a has awakened B-talent, but he awakened it late after most of his family were dead and he was alone.

"That old man should probably be an A-talent."

Josief thought while he was still confused about the old man, but calmed down quickly and looked at the others in the room.

The body guards, looked sturdy and strong. Some of them were bald and others not. They all dressed in a clean black suit with black sunglasses.

The women on the other hand was extraordinary beautiful. Her wolf cut, silk black hair running down behind the back. Her pale skin and tempting red lips. Her clothes trying to suppress, but at the same time show off the curves of her outstanding body figure. He long and slender legs with long heels, seductive to man. Such a women, could have made any man who's looked at her and made him think that his life purpose was to bring joy to her.

They were so caught up in their discussion that they didn't even no notice him. Josief noticed their were no one at the checkout and knew that one of these people were the owner.

"Its probably the old man, as the women has bodyguards with show that she's a celebrity or a famous person. I will just wait until they are finished talking." Josief taught and went and sat down.

After time as a whole incense stick took to burn up, Josief stood up and looked at the two people still discussing. He walked slowly to the two of them, and when he was in front of the he asked in an innocently voice. he cupped his fist and asked innocently.

"Sir and, Madam!"

Josief cupped his fist and bowed down to them,

"Sir, for my inconvenience but my grandpa needs a herb from here."

Josief looked at the old man eye to eye while lying straight to him. He saw that that the old man got irked, but fast got over it. He then asked Josief, while giving a curious stare as he inspected his appearance.

"What kind of herb are you in need for" the old man said as eyes focused upon Josief.

"Do you have any old ginseng, and a silver silk lotus"

Old man then went to get the herbs, and left Josief alone with the young girl. Josief sometime sent some glances at her way. Josief felt that he had seen her from somewhere.

"Miss Melina! We cant delay it any longer, you have to reach your dinner reservation with Mr. Michi Hotaru"

Just then as the Bodyguard whispered into Melina, Josief remembered an old memory of from his first life....
