Reunion

inside Ashhad's house the others had woken up Humzah was cooking breakfast while Hussnain, Aaron and Alyne were waiting on the breakfast table just then Ashhad came into the kitchen as Hussnain asked

Hussnain : where had you been?

Ashhad said

Ashhad : went to meet someone I think you know him.

just then Zulqarnain entered the kitchen seeing him Alyne, Aaron and Hussnain all stood up and said

Aaron, Hussnain and Alyne : sir Zulqarnain!

Zulqarnain smiled and replied

Zulqarnain : greetings Hussnain and you tobrother Aaron and sister Alyne.

Alyne : sir please have a seat.

Zulqarnain came and sat down with them, Ashhad also sat down with them as Hussnain asked

Hussnain : why didn't you inform me that you were returning I would've came to receive you.

Ashhad : the letter that Basit left for me informed me about his arrival so I went to pick him up.

Humzah came with the breakfast and said

Humzah : well now that you are here sir Zulqarnain I won't let you go without having breakfast.

Zulqarnain : oh how I missed a proper meal, I don't remember when I last ate breakfast on time.

Humzah : why?

Zulqarnain : being a spy I was always on the run so I never really got the time to peacefully sit and have a proper meal.

Ashhad : well now you do please help yourself.

Zulqarnain : you bet I will.

the group had breakfast together and Zulqarnain really praised Humzah's cooking after breakfast they all gathered in the lounge and began talking with Zulqarnain

Humzah : so how was life in foreign?

Zulqarnain : pretty bad.

Aaron : did you ever get in a situation where you thought it was game over?

Zulqarnain : many times.

Alyne : were you ever in a situation where you had to make love?

Zulqarnain : thankfully no, I'm still a virgin.

Hussnain : by the way sir now that you're back where you gonna stay?

Zulqarnain : I actually didn't thought of that.

Ashhad : well you can live with me if you want.

Zulqarnain : I'd really appreciate that.

Alyne looked out the window and said

Alyne : hey Ashhad.

Ashhad : yes?

Alyne : It's turning afternoon what do you say we go outside and dig out Basit's treasure?

Ashhad : I guess what do you guys think?

the three replied simultaneously

Humzah : yeah I'm OK with it.

Hussnain : sure.

Aaron : if you say so mate.

Ashhad : Ok I'll grab my shovel.

Hussnain : I have a shovel back at my house if you want I'll go grab it.

Ashhad : a good deed needs no counsel.

Zulqarnain asked with interest

Zulqarnain : treasure?

Ashhad : yes it was the fortune of our late friend Basit.

Zulqarnain : Basit had a fortune?

Aaron : remember he sold you the Trident in exchange for 800000 emeralds.

Zulqarnain : yes he did.

Aaron : he only spent 100000 and hid the rest away in a chest.

Zulqarnain : that boy never ceased to surprise me.

Ashhad : carrying all those emeralds back home will be a monumental task.

Zulqarnain : I'll come along that way it will become easier.

Ashhad : very well let's go.

Ashhad, Humzah and Zulqarnain left for Basit's house while Hussnain, Alyne and Aaron left for Hussnain's house back at Basit's house Humzah opened the door and went inside while Ashhad and Zulqarnain stayed behind, everything in Basit's house was in its place Humzah was anxiously waiting to move back into this house as he got to Basit's room the scent of his friend mesmerized him as he remarked

Humzah : oh Basit you left to soon, we had barely known eachother for a week.

Humzah went to Basit's bedside drawer took the map and went back outside and said

Humzah : I have found the map guys.

Ashhad : great let's go.

Humzah, Ashhad and Zulqarnain regrouped with Hussnain, Aaron and Alyne at Hussnain's house after which they followed the map to the X mark it led them straight to the forest after walking for a few minutes they arrived at their destination as Humzah said

Humzah : we're here.

Ashhad : where should we start digging?

Humzah pointed on a area of the ground and said

Humzah : right here.

Ashhad and Hussnain started digging they digged for about 10 minutes until Hussnain's shovel struck something hard and he said

Hussnain : I found something.

they continued to mine and soon unearthed a large trunk, they got it to the surface after which Ashhad, Humzah, Hussnain, Aaron and Zulqarnain lifted the trunk with a joint effort, it was heavy but in the end after a long and grueling effort the teamwork made the dream work and the chest was securely moved to Basit's and now Humzah's house.
