Yang Jia waited until Grandpa Yang was done going down memory lane of Grandma Yang.

Grandpa Yang slowly put down Grandma Yang's picture frame to its original place. Yang Jia could see the love and longing that radiated from his eyes.

She knew he was hurting because her Grandmother wasn't here, she was in pain as well.

Grandma Yang was one of the most important people in Yang Jia's heart. She helped her get up when her parents passed away. Every single time Yang Jia was sad, she always went toward her grandmother to seek comfort.

Her Grandparents and Duke are everything to her. When she found out her grandmother passed away, she locked herself in her room for a month.

Grandpa Yang had to do a lot of convincing, just so she could be like she used to be. It did took a long time to go back to her cheery self, but every now and then she would cry because she missed her grandmother. She knew that her grandmother now resting in heaven, wouldn't want her to be depressed all the time.

At her death bed, Grandmother Yang asked for one last favor from Grandfather Yang.

She said "cough... Old Chen, I want you to to take care of our granddaughter. Don't be sad because I'm leaving... cough... I want you to witness her achievements and the impact that she's going to create in this world because she's one special girl... cough, cough... when that happens, be proud of her as much as I am"

Grandfather Yang took her hand and gave her a sad smile "No, I'm not going to take care of her..." he said

Grandmother Yang stiffened and looked at him in the eyes not expecting this answer

Grandfather Yang sighed painfully and continued "Since when is only I?... it always has been WE"

Grandfather Yang moved closer to her side and moved his head until her pale cold forehead touched his "No matter what, it always will be WE, not I...

Wherever you go, you'll always be with me. So we're going to take care of our granddaughter together. We'll witness all of her achievements together. We'll see how she impacts the world, and we will be proud of her... together"

Grandmother Yang's eyes watered. She closed her eyes, smiled, and said

"Together"

Those were the last words that Grandmother Yang has said. She left this world with no regrets and she knew that there was nothing to worry about... She left to heaven with a smile on her face.

It took a while for Grandpa Yang to come back from his reverie, But Yang Jia waited in patience

Finally, he glanced at Yang Jia with a insistent expression

Yang Jia straightened her back in fright. She knew that he knew what she was trying to hide. She was trying to find the exact words to explain

Grandpa Yang's stern face turned into a concerning one

After a moment of silence, he finally asked

"What happened Xiao Jia?... Why is the news saying that Zhang Wei is in a relationship with your friend, when he's clearly in a relationship with you?"

Yes, he just found out that his Granddaughter's fiancé is in a relationship with her friend.

It was the first thing he saw, when he stepped foot out of the plane.

At first, he thought it was a misunderstanding, but the picture on the billboard clearly showed how Zhang Wei was savoring his kiss with Hu Lie.

His heartbeat started to speed up and he felt an extremely painful pang on his chest. He started loosing oxygen. His surroundings started moving around his head.

Grandpa Yang's helper saw what was happening and quickly went to call the Yang's family doctor.

The doctor arrived at the airport and quickly sent the Old Master toward his home because it was closer than the Yang ancestral home.

It didn't take long to restore Old Master back health, but he needed to rest.

After that, Old Master was sent to the Old ancestral house and just as he arrived he called Yang Jia

Yang Jia soon arrived and now they were in this situation

"I want the entire truth" Grandpa Yang knew that Yang Jia won't tell him the entire truth, so he added

Yang Jia sighed in resignation. She had no other choice, but to tell the truth.

"I caught Zhang Wei cheating on me with Hu Lie as soon as I arrived from France. Right there and then broke up with him"

"Oh, child" He could only feel sympathy for her, but soon rage started to form.

He felt disappointed. He thought that Zhang Wei was a good guy, but he was wrong

Right now all he wanted to do was go to Zhang Wei's house and beat him until his legs were broken, even then he will still not feel satisfied

Yang Jia looked at Grandpa Yang's sad expression turned into an angry one

She quickly grabbed his wrinkled hand and he looked at her

Yang Jia gave him a reassuring smile "Don't worry grandpa. That happened two months ago"

"Two months ago?" He asked in a tone that showed how much he controlled his anger

Yang Jia scolded herself for the slip of tongue.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked

"I was worried of what would happen to you if you found out over the phone, and I decided to tell you in person"

Grandpa Yang's anger subsided. Yang Jia was right, he probably be even more mad if found out over the phone. He thought about what happened this morning and decided not to tell Yang Jia about what happened in order to not to worry her.

"Don't worry I'm over him now. That shows how very little love I had for him" Yang Jia continued

Grandpa Yang glanced at his granddaughter and asked "You never loved Zhang Wei?"

Yang Jia thought about it before she answered "I did like him, but it wasn't as deep as yours and grandma's love"

Grandpa Yang sighed "Why didn't you tell me before, I could've cancelled your engagement sooner"

"Don't worry about that Grandpa, it's all in the past okay?" She answered

Grandpa thought about and agreed reluctantly

"Where are staying now? At your apartment?"

Grandpa Yang changed the subject

Yang Jia was caught off guard with his questions "I.. uh... I'm living with a friend right now" She wasn't lying, Liang Guozhi was her friend 'maybe her friend with benefits?' She thought to herself

"Why don't you come and live here?"

"Where I work is far away from here. My friend's place is much closer" she answered truthfully

"Fine" Grandpa Yang let her be reluctantly
