"No, I don't. But it'd be nice if you told me how we met," he said.

Hannah smiled and said, "Well, we met on the [unintelligible]."

"I can't hear a thing. Fuck!" he thought. When she stopped talking, Travis glanced at Caroline, who looked at them in shock.

"I heard nothing," she thought.

"Well, that was quite interesting. How about we go have a seat, and I'll plug in the game. I hope you can play FIFA," he said.

"I'll learn, I guess," she said with a bright smile. Travis walked to the living room, leaving Caroline in silence. She turned back to the two and thought, "Did Travis hear that? My hearing returned just now when he spoke, and by his response, he seemed to have heard. What just happened?!"

She walked towards the living room along with the two and sat on a separate sofa from them. She stared at the two as Travis taught her how to play. She wasn't jealous or anything, just shocked.

Travis took out a large bowl and poured all the snacks inside. Then, he got a bag of candies and did the same. He brought them back to the coffee table.

"Wow, two minutes in and Caroline has already scored two goals," he said as he stared at the TV.

"Oh, my brother has this game, so I used to play with him before," she replied.

"That makes sense. Well, here's some snacks. I'll go upstairs and get something. I'll be back in a moment," he said. When he left, the two girls returned to speaking.

"Hey, don't speak about this so recklessly. What if he heard you?" she said.

"Well, he already knows that you like him, you know. Also, aren't you chatting with his friend now?"

"You mean Caleb? Well, honestly, I wasn't even planning on being that close with him. I thought maybe he'd lead me to Travis, but I guess that didn't work since he now likes me," she said.

"I mean, it's not surprising. You're really beautiful. If you weren't the cute, innocent Hannah, then you wouldn't have a hard time making dudes do what you want," she said with a chuckle.

"You think? So what should I do with Caleb? Should I use him?"
