Betrayal

Hundreds of mages surrounded me, Luck Valord. I was almost drained out of mana, most of it used up from the endless battle I fought. All my life I was always a shadow of my older siblings who were competitors to the throne after my father. I was always weaker then them, but why? Why was this happening? Soldiers from my own kingdom attacking me?

As I stared into the endless abyss of soldiers I saw a face I knew very well, Grey Valord my oldest brother. He smiled devilishly staring at me through those controlling purple eyes. "Was it you? Did you kill my friends?" My tender voice sounded as I darted past the armored mages straight to the silhouette of my oldest brother.

Dark red flames covered my body and my hand held a blood red sword sharp as a dagger. As I reached my older brother I kicked the magic barrier in front of him. "Took you long enough Luck."

I flipped backwards landing on my feet. I infused my sword with my dark red mana as I swung the red sword directly at my brothers neck. He dodged my sword blazing with magic.

"Did you order this?! Did you kill my friends!?" I shouted. "So what if I told you I did? What can you do about it? You're already going to die." My older brother said. "Not if I kill you first!" As I spoke I swung my sword at my brother, as soon as he blocked it with his sword I teleported behind him and hit him with my sword again. The blade of my sword sliced grey. It wasn't over yet, I teleported to his left and hit him again.

I kept teleporting around him and attacking him until his sword fell out of his hands. He fell to the ground. I won the battle. Suddenly I felt pain all over my body. I tried to scream but I couldn't. In the distance I saw grey walking towards the Valord castle gates.

What? Didn't I beat him? How is he standing? I looked at the bloodied armor on me. I lost? No I can't die right now. Not until I kill him! A burst of mana exploded around me as I ran towards my brother and swung my blade at him. "You never learn do you? useless brother." I looked down at my chest and saw a purple sword going through me. My eyes slowly closed and the world darkened.

I opened my eyes and saw a woman. Hey I know that face. But where do I know it from? Young master you have to get ready to go to the festival! The woman said. My maid, jasmine???
