chapter 9 - betrayal

Morning came and like always Vero went early to the academy whereas albo was ready to do so shopping to find some rare herbs and make some pills to improve his body . Yesterday while he was in library he learn some recipes to make pills and also when he was undergoing transformation he was given all sorts of knowledge like making pill , forging weapon and rune master.

Albo in terms of strength was probably strong but he still was facing some body defect since his potential was too high for his body to handle even after his evolution . He was planning to make some body foundation Rank 4 pill .

He got ready to leave towards the market. As he was walking by the streets of the market ,he realised that he didn't have much money on him and also he too had some human ethics so he didn't wanted to steal to earn money .

Albo suddenly came to realisation that the best way to earn money was to kill some beasts and sell their cores which most of the people does but it was very dangerous because they have to gamble with their lives . He decided to go with this plan so he got ready to leave towards the Forest area he knew ,as a force warrior in king realm he could almost kill any beast lower then him .

He got inside one of the forest which had a restricted notice board but he didn't care .As he was walking by the forest he saw a group of people most likely some adventures .

They consisted of 7 members and each of them were well equipped . There were 4 man and 3 woman . They were discussing among themselves about rank 3 awaken beast and was planning on how to kill the beast . Albo was listening for afar and didn't react much since it was just a rank 3 awaken beast .

Rank 3 beast were comparable to that of master rank warrior but when a beast is awaken their strength is increased my many fold and is comparable to grandmaster rank which makes them a threat .

Albo stop spying and went deep to the forest to hunt some beast . As he was going deeper and deeper he saw his first hunt . The beast was the size of an elephant but it's body was that of tiger with black and white stripes . It was eating the flesh of its prey unaware of the surroundings.

Albo notice that the beast was rank 4 awaken beast . If other people were to see this they will lose all their hopes to fight since it's strength was comparable to that of knight rank or sometimes even lord rank but that was not the case for albo . He just walk casual towards the beast and at the same time the beast also turn its head towards albo getting ready to strick

The beast not waiting any longer rush towards albo since it's meal time was interrupted , it was raging with anger but suddenly the beast felt weak and cold . It couldn't move its body and after a second the beast felt down with its eyes open without even knowing that it had died .

When albo notice that the beast was rushing towards him he waited no longer and just shot his dark energy in the form of bullet from his finger like a pistol in the beast forehead and killed the beast on spot .

Albo walk by the beast body and started digging inside searching for the core and after a while of search he got the cores which was orange in colour , he put the beast core inside the ring and walk away leaving the body .

He continued his hunt for quite a while and the result was fruitful . In total he was able to get 9 cores of rank 1 beast which was green in colour ,3 cores of rank 2 beast which was blue ,1 core of rank 3 beast which was red and 1 core of rank 4 beast which was orange in colour .

Albo after killing the beast had just left the body as it was ,letting the nature do it's part .Albo was quite satisfied with today's hunt and was most likely hoping to earn some big money .He then existed out of the forest and headed towards the market

Albo was now in the busiest part of the market where all sorts of things were being sold . He just walk pass the road hoping to get a deal with some good merchants . As he was scrolling around he saw a building which which was written "Core transaction" , he waited no longer and headed towards the building .

He came towards the receptionist and said "I would like to sell some beast core "

"Ok sir , please place your core here so that we can verify it " the receptionist gently replied as she handed him a silver bowl .

He waited no longer and took out the beast core from his ring and place it on the bowl

The receptionist recieved the bowl and as she was about to verify the cores she was shock . There was a rank 4 core which she had not seen for quite a while . She thought it was fake so she started verifying all the beast core but found that all the cores were emitting beast aura .

"S..sir , please head this way your transaction will be handle by the head manager " The receptionist spoke as she led albo to the upstairs .They were just common employees so they were not given the permission by the head manager to do a heavy transaction like in the case of albo .

After a while of walk albo was guided towards the one of the room by the receptionist

"Sir , please wait patiently our head manager will be here anytime " the receptionist spoke and headed out and soon the door was open by an old man who was in his 50s .

The man was dress commonly without showing any richness and was emitting a superior aura .The man smile and sat opposite towards albo

"My i know your name young man "

"Albo"

"Hello albo , the beast core you are selling are quite unique so how much will you like to sell it with " this old man was quite cunning seeing this young man who was even younger than his grand daughter was selling a rank 4 core .

"20 gold coins ,not negotiable " albo was quite good in reading people's emotions and thoughts ,the old man was trying to scam him so he also wanted to do the same thing

The old man heard this and almost chock ,he maintain his posture and said "Sir albo , don't you think 20 gold coins is a bit too over price "

"Well rank 4 beast is not an everyday meal so it will be hardly seen and also with those other cores ,I think 20 gold coins is a fair price don't you think"

The man infront was quite amaze with this young man's knowledge and also the confidence in his speech. He thought for a moment and said "How about 10 gold coins "

"18 gold coins "albo spoke

"12 gold coins" the man was trying to take down the price as low as he could

Albo pause for a moment and spoke "15 gold coins that's my end point"

"how about 14 " this old man was trying to test the limit

"well if you can't accept 15 gold coins than I will go to another store " albo spoke

"Hahaha young you are quite promising indeed ,let's go with 15 gold coins" the old man spoke after which he took out 15 gold coins from his ring and place in on the table .

"Thank you ,old man" albo spoke politely and took the money

"young people are really rash these days, anyway my name is eston buris not old man and here is my card next time if you have some good deal feel free to come by again" Mr eston spoke , hoping to see some shock reaction in this kid eyes but he saw nothing asif like it was a fart

"Thank you Mr eston " albo spoke as he took the gold card .

This old man infront of him was the principle of grand buris academy one of the top5 academy .He could be said famous since he was sought out by many people especially young talented kids who tries to earn his favour to enter the academy.

"Ok than if you will excuse me I will take my leave first " albo didn't know the true identity of Mr eston but even if he did he won't care .

"Ah yes and say hello to your hunter partner too " the old man spoke

Albo just rolled his eyes hearing the old man . He himself had killed the beast but the old man had thought that his hunter partner had done it and send albo towards the market to sell it .

"Omg boss another beast body is lying here but it's core is missing like the rest"

"Boss over here ,there is another one here too"

these hunters were none other than the hunters which albo came across on his way . These hunters were actually the outer disciples of thunder flame sect , they had accepted a commission of killing a rank 3 awaken beast since they were low on money

"Hey Brother dong I have one idea do you want to hear it " spoke one girl who was mostly in her late teen but with small body and short height

"Yes dear what is it " spoke brother dong who was the leader of the group

Than the female came near dong's ear and spoke in a small voice "brother dong how about we kill all 5 of them and take these rank 3 and rank 4 beast to the sect .Let try to make excuses that 5 of them were killed by the beast and the beast core were destroyed by both of us because we were trying to seek revenge for our friends and we were unaware that we had destroy the core "

"This..." dong was quite surprised by what he heard

"No, brother dong remember , did you see any person from the core disciples section killing a rank 4 beast ?... you haven't right so if we were to take the beast body to our sect with some injuries in our bodies

"they might believe us and promote us to inner ..no ,core disciples .What do you say brother dong" the girl was quite cunning and was trying her best to convince her name sake boyfriend

Brother dong was thinking hard and when he thought about getting promoted to core disciples he couldn't help but agree to his dear suggestions.

"Ok but how will we kill them "

"It simple ,we gather them in one place and I will use my retribution scroll which I stole -....got ..got from my teacher " the girl spoke as she got stammered in the last sentence

"Ok dear I trust you" dong was so stupid that he couldn't even see through this girl .All he thought about was when will this girl give him the chance to touch her

5 of the rest were scattered , carrying the beast body in one place and suddenly they heard their leader voice

"Hey guys ,you all have work well .can you guys come here for a sec I have something important to tell you " dong shouted

they all heard it and gathered in one place except for the small girl who was hiding on top of the tree above them . If these people were alert they will notice her but they didnt even think that such thing will happen

"What happen boss "

"Is there something you want to ask boss "

they were still not aware of the situation they were in.

"guys I want to say that , you all will remain in my heart forever " dong spoke as he was sad to see his friends who he had known for a long time depart

Everyone heard brother dong words and before they could even think a huge red lightning struck all of them killing them on spot . leaving no one alive

"Done and dusted ~" spoke the small girl from the tree with a jolly expression .

*sign* dong just sign at the display and not wanting to stay any longer he spoke

"dear let's burn all these bodies and collect these two beast body "

Dong and the small girl had burnt the 5 bodies including the rest of the beast bodies they collected except for the rank 3 and 4 beast.

They made a fake injuries with their knifes almost making it look like they were been attack by a pack of wolves . After they had remove all the evidence and collected the body they existed out of the forest
