chapter 12 - Auction (part 1)

Morning came ,the day was quite pleasing to start a good day . Vero prepared herself and existed her house to the academy but as she existed the house the scene infront of her was surprising .She saw 7 people of snake members from last night on her door steps ,the odd thing was that they didn't have the arrogant expression like before but was that of calm and respect asif like they were waiting for some one important .

The X-snake gang members saw Vero and greeted her with a bow , "Good morning young mistress"

The greeting and title came like a bomb in her head ,she didn't know when did she ever become a mistress .She was trying to calm herself and reason out on why these people from snake gang had such change of attitude towards her .

Vero was deep in thoughts and somehow she was able to reason out that albo might have done something to them .

She smile back and greeted them back ,"good morning to you all "

Then she headed towards the academy , whereas these 7 people were still outside the door waiting for albo to come out and short after they could see the door of the house opening . Some people gulp as sweats were dripping down .

Albo got up from the bed and was planning on heading towards the market ,he waited no longer and existed out of the house . When he saw that these 7 people were waiting outside the house he was quite happy since they did as they were told .

"Very good that you guys made it ,where is the money"

Hugo step forward with a crystal ring with his gaze else where not wanting to make eye contact with albo ."Boss here is 15800 gold we harvested last night " .

Hugo handed the ring to albo and went back to his Usual stands .Albo was hammer with a suprised ,15800 gold coins! that like 15 times of what he actually ask . He was quite please at how they did their work and was planning on rewarding them with rank 6 pills .

these 7 people last night went on a rampage ,they went on stealing , threating rich people and collected 15800 gold coins so that this devil will at least be happy and not torture them. The curse nightmare had a buge impact on their current mind

"Go and do your own work ,I will call you guys if anything is to be done "

They all spoke and disappeared quickly not wanting to be in this devil presence .

Albo also started to head towards the market hoping to find at least lower rank cauldron .The rank of artifacts were also divided in which higher rank has more power where as lower rank has less power .The list of artifacts could be described as

higher rank artifact

heaven rank artifact

sacred rank artifact

artifacts in fact was so rare and different from normal made artifacts .Even lower rank artifact could be considered as a precious treasure .

Albo was now in the market scrolling the streets , he could see various items being sold, some fake whereas only a few could be counted real .So far he didn't find what he was looking for so he start asking the shop keepers

"Excuse me sir ,do you know where cauldron is sold "

"cauldron huh ....well I do have some " said the shop keeper with a smile and show albo his cauldron .

Albo was uninterested in Normal cauldron since it could not even make rank 2 pills .

"No sir , I mean I am looking for grade cauldron "

"Oh ,...I believe that things will only appear in auction or in black market " Spoke the shop keeper with a disappointment .

Albo was now quite rich so he took out a gold coin and handed it to the shop keeper and as he was walking away, the shop keeper who was in daze looking at the gold coin call out to albo

"please wait your grace , I aslo learnt that today some rare artifacts are being sold in the auction and also a higher rank cauldron is being auction " the shop keeper spoke with respect

when albo heard that higher cauldron was being sold he was ecstatic , he knew by the fact that this was the God given opportunity he should not miss

"Guide me to the auction and I will give you another gold coin "

When the shop keeper heard this he felt like this was the luckiest day he ever had in his life .

"S..sure sure ,your grace but .."

"but?"

"I don't know if I'm rude to say but some people target those rich people from the auction so I think it better if you wear a mask or a robe to hide your apperance , you can change back after existing out "

As the shop keeper finish speaking albo also was taken to a thought ,infact he was not scared of anyone but he didn't want to seek too much attention as of now so he didn't find the idea bad .

"Ok ,so where can I find the robe or a mask "

As the question was raised the shop keeper eyes shone "Then you are at the right place your excellency , look at this "

the shop keeper went to his store and took out a black robe which could cover from head to toe with a cape enough to cover the whole head .

"This here is a master robe , the cloth is made up by a black widow web which can with stand any blow from master rank or below. This is the only premium item in my shop but since it is expensive no one wants to buy this , well I may make a discount for you since it's 5 gold coins but you are a special customer so I will do it 4 gold coins "

Albo was quite attracted by the robe he was seeing . The whole robe a covered black with a strong clothing material so he nodded without any complain

"ok , here you go" albo handed the coins and after a while he was dressed with a robe whole black that only his foot and hands could be seen .

The shop keeper and albo started heading towards the auction house and as they were near the auction house they could see some rich and powerful figures.There were also some luxury carriages and wagons

"Your grace , I beg you pardon but I think I can drop you till this much "

Albo nodded without a word and handed him the gold coin like he promised and headed towards the auction house . He just stop near the gate and was observing from afar .He could see also sorts of mixed age people ,teen , adult ,old and very old .He also sense they some old people were emitting knight rank potential .

Albo just smirk under his cape which was hiding his face and headed towards the entrance .

At that time some people notice albo but glance away since they knew that there were some people who were scared to expose their identity where as there was one particular girl and boy who was curious .

"Grandfather grandfather ,why is that man were a robe with a cape ....is he here to cause trouble"

"Yea grandfather shall I go and teach him a lesson "

this twin spoke who were in their 9.

"Hahaha...no no , most people wear such dress because they are scared that after auction some people will target them ...since both of you are first time in auction I don't want you to cause and trouble ok"

After some 30 minutes ,the place outside the auction was empty where all the people were presently seated inside the auction . There were two sections of seats ,one was for just normal people and the other was VIP which was reserved for the important figures .

At present albo was seated in the last part of the seat with a silent atmosphere around him ,he had set his mind on the higher rank cauldron so even if he didn't win he will steal it that was his main motive .

Soon a beautiful lady walk to the stage with a dazzling smile on her face ,"ladies and gentlemen welcome to the 91th of diamond fortune auction , I , Lesley will be your host today and this time we have 15 special items for auction ,...are you guys ready "

"yeaa"

huge uproar was with held by the men at that time in the VIP room ,an old man was seated in the chair with the annoyance look 'peasants' he murmured, whereas the young man beside him also was showoff an arrogant expression ,he could be considered as a spoil brat .

"the. without further ado let the auction begin .1st up we have a rank 4 beast core .This is not an ordinary rank 4 beast core but from an awaken beast core

"it was said that the beast of this core was a ferocious beast with a strong innate ability.

The starting price for this core is 10 gold coins"

albo who was observing from the back and he could tell that this was the same core he sold it to the old man .At that time he felt like he was scam by that old man . if the starting price was 10 gold coins than he couldn't imagine how high it will go .

"15 gold coins" shout a fat lady with face full of make ups

"30 gold coins " another lady spoke but she was teen with a veil hiding her face ,she was seated in the VIP seat

"30 gold coins from number 27 in VIP section anyone else want to bit higher " spoke the host

everyone was silent as they knew who the lady with the veil seated in the VIP seat was so they better didn't wanted to offend them

Albo was uninterested in all this items which was being auction but at that time

"next up number 7 , This is a 500 years old black pearl . It was said that this pearl was found in the demon ocean and was exposed to potential energy since than for 500 years . The starting price is 500 gold coins "

albo was attracted by the pearl , he knew that if he could get this pearl than he will be able to make rank 9 (energy bomb) ,as he was about to bit the same lady with the veil from the VIP seat rose her number
