"Mrs. Chen how did you know that the maids lied? I didn't tell you anything about it, how did you know?" Xiao Ting sounded a calm but she was dead serious. "Miss Xiao, I heard you talking to them. I eavesdropped your conversation, I'm sorry Miss" Mrs. Chen bowed but Xiao Ting wasn't satisfied, this wasn't the truth.

"Mrs. Chen quit the lying, how did you know?! And why didn't you tell them that Mr. Lu was still here if you eavesdropped?!" Xiao Ting was shouting now, the whole mansion was filled with it.

"Miss Xiao..... They are my granddaughters, they began to work when they turned eighteen. They still have a lot to learn, don't be so angry please.... Miss Xiao please don't be angry..." Mrs. Chen had a pitiful look on her face, probably a fake one...

"Mrs. Chen didn't I say to tell her the truth before? Tell her everything about your granddaughters, she deserves to know everything and every detail!!" Mrs. Chen and Xiao Ting both looked at the door, Lu Hui was leaning against the doorframe.

Mrs. Chen told Xiao Ting everything about the poisoning and the rumour about the killed parents, the granddaughters needed a therapist in Xiao Ting's opinion. But Mrs. Chen told her that they weren't caught by the police and were still innocent, Xiao Ting was mad for not turning themselves in. The punishment was A LOT higher now, they could've got a lighter one if they told the truth.

After the lifelong story, Xiao Ting went to sleep.

***The next day, 8 a.m.***

Xiao Ting woke up and stretched her body, she slept very well and even dreamed of true love.... A dream that couldn't be true in the real cruel world.....

She went for a shower and got ready for the meeting with Mrs. Xiao, she wasn't going to see the 'pervert' today... He was imaginary after all, Mrs. Xiao was so simple to convince.....

***In the kitchen***

The maids got a day off and left the mansion to visit family, so Xiao Ting had to make breakfast herself. She wasn't a bad cook, she was actually an amazing cook. She could make any dish!!

She decided to make breakfast for Lu Hui too, he was going to help her today. So she showed an act of kindness to show him that she appreciated his help very much.

Xiao Ting made banana pancakes with caramel syrup and fruit on top, it looked so delicious that it could make mouths water. Just when the she put the pancakes on two plates, Lu Hui came.

"Did you cook?" Lu Hui was having a questionable look on his face.

"Yes, any problems Mr. Lu?" Xiao Ting looked a little proud, Lu Hui changed looks and looked worried.

"What if you burned your hand? Or your face?" Xiao Ting just laughed at his silly questions and answered: "Mr. Lu I'm not a child, I always cook when I'm alone!!". Xiao Ting didn't sound serious when saying that, she sounded like a child that didn't get her candy. Lu Hui gave up and they began to eat, the pancakes were actually delicious...

***The beach***

Mrs. Xiao was already waiting for 'the pervert' to come, she wanted Han Lu to marry Xiao Xa so bad. She hated Xiao Ting, she was Mr. Xiao's favourite child. If Xiao Ting could become pregnant with the kid of that 'pervert' it would be a big chance for Han Lu and Xiao Xa!!

"Are you Miss Xiao Ting?" Lu Hui came undercover to Mrs. Xiao, who was surprised at the tall figure standing in front of her. Mrs. Xiao took a deep breath, she only had to win him over to her side.

"No, I am her stepmom Mrs. Xiao. You like Xiao Ting right?" Mrs. Xiao was curious, he had to agree with her plan first. "Yes, I do. What do you want, I was supposed to meet Miss Xiao Ting here!!" Lu Hui shouted.

"Your Miss Right isn't here, I don't know where she went last night. She leaves the house and doesn't come back the next day, but who cares?" Mrs. Xiao was laughing and making joking, everyone on the beach looked at her in disgust.
