Chapter 24: The Whole Class is in Love

Luo Luo stared straight at Chu Yi with shock in her heart.

No one in this school knew where she came from, and her background exceeded the imagination of the people here. Naturally, she could come into contact with some unique people or things.

There were many fortune tellers who had predicted her future for a high price, but no one had ever been as clear as the teacher standing before her now.

Her personal affairs were absolutely impossible for outsiders to know.

Chu Yi felt uneasy under Luo Luo's gaze but still pretended to be calm and said, "Don't doubt me either. If things don't turn around after today, it won't be too late to jump off tomorrow."

"Of course you can jump if you want to. It's so hot that I'll get heatstroke even if you don't," Luo Luo replied with a glint in her eyes.

Seeing Luo Luo's eyes gradually become lively again, Chu Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

Why end your youth prematurely? In his previous life he had suffered greatly yet still lived well and even gained an incredible opportunity at the end.

Suddenly, an angry voice rang out: "Chu Yi! What are you doing?! Encouraging students to jump off buildings? Have you no humanity?"

Qin Ran followed behind them all the way up and was shocked when she saw him on top of the building. She only heard his last two sentences when she arrived there:

What do you mean by jumping off tomorrow?

What do you mean by jumping if they want to?

Is this how teachers behave?!

She panicked especially when she saw that it was Luo Luo he was talking to; fear gripped her heart because although she noticed this student brought over by the former principal earlier on, Qin Ran didn't know anything about her background despite wanting to investigate further herself.

If a student jumps off the building on her third day of work, Qin Ran could apologize and leave tomorrow.

"Luo Luo, if there's anything you want to talk about, don't jump off the building. That's not how we solve problems," Qin Ran said.

"Principal, I'm not planning to jump anymore. You don't have to worry," Luo Luo smiled.

Qin Ran's scalp was numb; it was over. This child had already become indifferent towards life and death.

If she wasn't going to jump anymore then why is she still up there?

"Chu Yi, if something happens to this student, you'll be fully responsible!" She shouted at Chu Yi.

At that moment, a gentle breeze suddenly turned into a strong wind gusting through them all.

Luo Luo lost her balance as she was hanging outside the railing but before anyone could react in time or even scream out loud enough for help - they saw someone flash by like lightning!

Chu Yi had long been prepared for action; he acted quickly with his sharp eyesight and swift movements. He grabbed onto the railing with one hand while half of his body hung outside it; his other hand swiftly caught hold of Luo Luo's wrist just in time before she fell down completely from where she dangled precariously above ground level.

Luo Luo hung upside down outside the railing with her hair falling freely around her face while looking at the school from this angle which seemed novel and interesting.

She wasn't afraid at all; instead, her lips curved upwards revealing two shallow yet enchanting dimples that made people feel intoxicated by their beauty.

Luo Luo believed that someone who possessed such fortune-telling skills would definitely have excellent physical abilities too!

"Get up!"

With energy surging within him like an eagle soaring high in the sky – Chu Yi lifted both himself and Luo Luo up with ease.

But an accident happened. Luo Luo didn't stand firm and accidentally fell onto Chu Yi's body. Chu Yi instinctively took a step back, but stepped on the shoes that Luo Luo had taken off earlier.

The two of them hugged each other and fell backwards. Behind Chu Yi was Qin Ran, who was in despair and sat down on the ground.

When they fell, Chu Yi felt extremely full, especially his back which pressed directly against Qin Ran's front.

He felt like he became the middle piece of a sandwich, wrapped up with two different fragrances.

"You...you guys aren't dead?" For a moment, Qin Ran forgot to move and asked in horror. How could they bounce back when both of them disappeared?

Chu Yi didn't stay long on Qin Ran's body. Before she could react, he quickly got up and said with a smile: "Principal Qin, it depends on who I am. Look at me saving a student's life. Can we cancel that assessment?"

Qin Ran glared at him fiercely. This guy still thinks about this now? But after being stirred by Chu Yi like this, the solemn atmosphere just now finally eased up quite a bit.

She stood up, straightened her clothes and restored her usual cold expression. The residual temperature left by Chu Yi made her feel strange but she still spoke coldly: "You go back to class while Luo Luo comes with me to my office."

After speaking she turned around and left only their backs for them to see.

"What an arrogant woman," Luo Luo shook her head helplessly.

"Why do you talk like a thirty-year-old woman!" Chu Yi patted Luo Lou's head pretending to be fierce as he said: "Jumping off at such young age! I really don't know what you're thinking about! Wait until you get punished in Principal Qin's office."

Luo Lou stuck out her tongue without any lingering fear of the aftermath. She waved at Chu Yi and retreated.

She had seen all kinds of people, but no one was as interesting and eccentric as Chu Yi, who also carried a hint of mystery.

There are many beautiful appearances, but few interesting souls.

Chu Yi stood on the podium while the teachers were quiet and students looked at him strangely.

He took so long to go to the bathroom, his clothes were messy, his face was red, his breathing was unstable and he looked agitated...

"Teacher Chu, when Principal Qin passed by just now she seemed angry with her clothes in disarray too." Hu Lai had an expression that said "I understand".

The classroom made a strange sound: "Oh."

Chu Yi righteously said: "I went to save someone."

"Principal Qin, welcome! We apologize for not greeting you properly. Is there something we can help you with?" Chu Yi ran over to Qin Ran eagerly.

Qin Ran's mouth twitched as she looked at his punchable face; she really wanted to slap him.

Hold it in! You're the principal!

Finally suppressing her anger, Qin Ran slightly moved aside to reveal Luo Luo behind her.

"Luo Luo wants to transfer to your class. I've approved it and will leave her under your care. If anything happens, go with her!"

With these words spoken slowly through gritted teeth, it seemed like every day since meeting this bastard had been filled with anxiety for herself.

"Teacher Chu, everyone has left already. Don't stare anymore; look at the beauty before you." Luo Luo smiled sweetly.

"Cough cough..." Chu Yi averted his gaze. "Luo Luo is now my student since transferring classes so let's introduce ourselves first."

As soon as Chu Yi turned around though, he felt that something was off in the atmosphere of the classroom - thick hormones permeated throughout and pink bubbles seemed to fill up space above them all.

The boys sat upright while girls were excitedly chattering away.

"Hello everyone! My name is Luo Luo; please take care of me from now on." She introduced herself confidently amidst thunderous applause from students who clapped until their hands were red raw - even Hu Lai stood up as class monitor to join in.

"Welcome Luo Luo!" they all cheered.

Chu Yi felt uneasy; he didn't receive any applause on his first day!

"What's with you guys?"

"Teacher Chu, of course we're excited! Luo Luo is my goddess. Not only is she beautiful, but she excels at everything - music, chess, calligraphy and painting. She even won many international awards and represented China at the United Nations Youth Conference."

"To be honest teacher, Luo Luo is better than you during lessons."

Gu Feifei added insult to injury.

"Luo Luo come sit over here with me. I'm diligent in studying so it won't affect you."

"Forget it; you were eating sunflower seeds during class last time. As the top student of Class 18, let's discuss our studies together."

"Pfft...you only scored 18 points last time!"

Chu Yi gritted his teeth as he smelled the strong scent of love in the air.
