With a wave of his hand, Ryuda used a wind spell to lift Azure Monarch up. He then turned towards King Arthur and gave him a nod.

The kingdom elders behind Arthur wanted to scold Ryuda for his insolence, but the king raised his hand to stop them.

"Stop it. Ryuda is a guest I've invited to come and help our kingdom. Behave yourself or I'll cut you down myself." King Arthur glanced behind him before he sternly warned.

He wanted to prevent unnecessary deaths in his royal circle. But if the elders ignored him and did as they pleased, he would cut them down himself.

It would be embarrassing if Ryuda or Azure Monarch was the one to teach his elders a lesson.

As for the elders, they looked at Ryuda and Azure Monarch with ugly expressions.

Their initial plan to suck up to their king had backfired instead.

Who knew that their mighty SSS rank King Arthur would allow Ryuda to not only disrespect him, but to also warn his own court elders.

It was already tough enough being a court elder of Camelot.

Now that visitors from Sunland are here, their lives have gotten more miserable.

Ryuda and King Arthur exchanged a few more pleasantries with each other, though it was mainly Azure Monarch exchanging pleasantries with King Arthur in Ryuda's place.

The teacher himself remained silent while his disciple and the holy swordmaster talked.

The group left the city's gate and headed for the castle at the center of Camelot shortly after.

Upon arriving at the gate, King Arthur instructed his servants to escort Ryuda and Azure Monarch to their rooms.

It had to be said that King Arthur's castle was indeed magnificent.

The castle's interior was so mesmerizing, Ryuda had actually taken more than a second to look around the castle halls.

But after looking for more than 10 seconds, Ryuda lost all interest towards the beautiful interior of the castle.

In fact, Ryuda merely acted to marvel at the decorations found within King Arthur's home.

He acted to give King Arthur face.

Because in his opinion, it was okay at best.

He had seen plenty of castles and manors that were more magnificent than this.

Of course, the owners of those castles naturally had higher statuses than King Arthur.

King Arthur himself would probably find a hole to shove his head in if those existences came to visit his home and critiqued it.

Back to the topic, Ryuda was escorted to his room after an hour of planned walking.

Although King Arthur did call for a random servant to escort Ryuda to his room, he had actually trained all servants to deliberately lead Ryuda to circle his castle a few times before they brought Ryuda to his room.

This way, Ryuda would definitely notice the incredible amount of gemstones decorated on his walls and marvel at his wealth.

It sounded stupid to normal people but it meant a lot to people like King Arthur.

It wasn't everyday that a normal king like him could be graced with the presence of a legendary X rank.

Even if he was the boy who pulled Excalibur out of the stone, he was still the same in an X ranker's eyes.

After all, X rankers were top existences that every country yearned to own.

They can fight a dozen SSS rank Heroes bare handed and still come out unscathed.

They can catch meteors and turn them into divine weapons with ease.

They can even split continents in half if someone from that continent had offended them.

That particular X rank that destroyed a continent to appease his pettiness was killed by Ryuda a year later.

Needless to say, X ranks were incredible existences that surpassed humanity itself.

So in this case, King Arthur wanted to try and rope in Ryuda to join Camelot. He hoped that if Ryuda saw his wealth, Ryuda might stay around to enjoy Arthur's treasures.

Of course, this was merely wishful thinking.

How could X rankers like Ryuda be interested in mortal pleasures like money, fame and lust?

Ryuda and Azure Monarch used telepathy and thought the same. They both laughed at King Arthur's useless ploy.

King Arthur was simply hoping for the impossible to happen!

The next day, King Arthur met Ryuda in the castle's dining room.

The table was lined with tens of lavish dishes, each dish looking more tasty than the last.

King Arthur gestured for Ryuda to take his pick. Ryuda scanned the table worth of food before he picked up a plate.

King Arthur's face became slightly ugly when he saw the plate Ryuda chose.

'This was…French toast with a stick of butter?!'

Curious by Ryuda's simple choice, King Arthur raised his hand before he asked, "Excuse me, Ryuda. The chefs have prepared so much delicious food for you on this table, yet you chose a plate of french toast with a stick of butter...Are you mocking me with this gesture?"

Hearing the king's words, Ryuda glanced at Arthur for a second before he picked up his knife and started spreading the butter on his french toast.

It was still early morning so Ryuda didn't want to find trouble with the king.

But if the king wanted to find trouble with him, Ryuda was more than willing to settle beef with King Arthur.

'Like hey, if you want to beef it out with me, I don't mind. I'll just get Azure Monarch to raze Camelot to the ground. As for that Excalibur in your hands, I'll just slice you up into minced meat before I take the sword back and put it up as a trophy.' Thinking so, Ryuda continued to eat his buttered up french toast.

Azure Monarch arrived at the dining hall an hour later.

"Sorry I'm late, teach. I was still practicing my Ten Great Azure Spells. Who knew those silver flood dragons would be so tenacious. They actually managed to survive through three of my Ten Great Azure Spells before they finally exploded into countless pieces."

Azure Monarch bowed before Ryuda before he took his seat next to his teacher. As for King Arthur, the Azure Monarch ignored him the entire time he was here.

King Arthur ignored him too. Ryuda ignoring him had already dealt him a big blow.

He wasn't in the mood to pester an SSS rank Transcendent Master like Azure Monarch.
