The conversation between Jiang Feng and Jiang Wan reached many ears in the crowd. Horne, who had remained calm until now, felt his emotions stir as he began to carefully assess Horn, his grandson.
Su Wu's strength was well known—he could cast the Black Flame Cage, a technique deadly enough to kill even experienced Dzogchen monks in the Sky Control Realm. Yet now, Horn had emerged from the cage unharmed, a feat that clearly exceeded Horne's expectations.
Horn's cultivation had surpassed the early Sea Transformation Realm. Just two years ago, he was considered weak and easily bullied. How had he grown so powerful in such a short time? What extraordinary opportunity had he encountered?
Horne frowned, calculating. He suspected Horn had reached at least Half-Step Creation, if not the early Creation Realm. If that opportunity could be transferred to Su Wu, the Su family might produce the most terrifying genius in the world.
Despite Horn's monstrous growth, Horne had no intention of compensating him or bringing him back into the Su family. He still saw him as an outcast.
As Su Yan and Su Xiao realized the extent of Horn's progress, they gasped in disbelief at how quickly the "loser" had risen.
"Mr. Su, don't delay!" Guo Chengping urged.
Horne was about to intervene when Su Wu stopped him. "Grandfather, I haven't lost yet! Horn is just an outcast. As the number one genius of the Su family, I won't lose to him. The higher he climbs now, the harder he'll fall later!"
With those words, mysterious energy erupted from Su Wu's body, enveloping him in golden light.
"The power of the immortal bones!" Xia Qingying remarked quietly.
Horne, reassured by this display, decided not to act for now. Once Su Wu activated the power of the immortal bone, his strength would increase dramatically.
But the irony was bitter—the immortal bone Su Wu now relied on had once belonged to Horn. Now, Su Wu was using it to defeat its original owner.
Xia Qingying, still astonished by Horn's strength, sent him a message: "You have impressive combat power, but once the immortal bones are used, you will lose."
Horn's eyes narrowed. Su Wu's use of the immortal bones caused a dull ache in Horn's body—a reminder of the rib he was still missing. He had never allowed that bone to regenerate, holding on to the hope of one day reclaiming what was stolen.
Jiang Feng laughed coldly. "Su Wu, you shameless coward. Those immortal bones belong to my brother-in-law, and now you're using them against him? Is that all you have? You're pathetic!"
"Shut up!" Su Wu's eyes blazed with anger. "Today, in front of all of you, I will cut Horn to pieces. Those bones always belonged to me."
Su Wu stepped forward, the ground shaking beneath him as rubble flew into the air. A massive rib appeared in the sky, its presence so overwhelming that the monks in the Creation Realm collapsed to their knees under its pressure.
"Immortal Bone Golden Body!" Su Wu's power surged as terrifying energy from the phantom rib poured into his body, transforming him into a radiant, golden figure.
"Now," Su Wu declared confidently, "I can easily crush even mid-Creation Realm powerhouses. You have no right to stand before me!"
He charged at Horn, but just as he was about to strike, Horn moved. His speed was far beyond Su Wu's. Without using any combat techniques, Horn kicked Su Wu in the stomach, the force so great that it tore a gaping bloody hole through Su Wu's body.
Su Wu, sent flying, coughed up blood as disbelief washed over his face. The golden light that had surrounded him dissipated, and the phantom of the immortal bones trembled before disappearing into the heavens.
Approaching the injured Su Wu, Horn said coldly, "You thought you could defeat me with my own immortal bones? In the end, you're still weak. So, tell me, Su Wu—who's the loser now?"
Horn's kick had been casual. If he had been serious, Su Wu would have been reduced to a mere blood mist. But Horn wasn't going to let him die so easily.
Su Wu lay on the ground, his face pale as blood poured from his wound. The agony distorted his features, and every time he attempted to activate his abilities, his body convulsed in pain.
Horn placed his foot on Su Wu's chest, and with a sharp crack, Su Wu spat out another mouthful of blood.
At this moment, Su Yan reacted first. His aura, at the peak of the Creation Realm, erupted as he charged at Horn.
Madness flickered in his eyes as black lines crawled over his body. He had been suppressing the painful markings with secret techniques, even at the cost of his own health. Su Yan was desperate for the Jiang family to help him get rid of the curse. He just wanted this confrontation to end.
When Su Yan was mere meters away, preparing to strike with a Rank Five combat skill, Horn casually swung his arm backward without even looking.
Su Yan's expression twisted with fear as a tremendous force struck him. He could feel his body being torn apart.
"No, I don't want to die yet, I—"
Before he could finish his sentence, his body exploded into a ball of blood mist.
Horne, Su Xiao, and the others were left in shock. With just a casual swipe, Horn had killed Su Yan, a peak Creation Realm cultivator. How was this possible? What kind of power had Horn achieved?
The arrogance and mockery on Xia Qingying's face vanished, replaced by fear and dread. She knew that Horn was only twenty-one years old!
"Don't worry," Horn said, turning toward Horne and the others. "Everyone from the Su family will join you in death today. You won't be alone."
A gust of wind blew through the arena, lifting sand and dust as the crowd squinted against it.
The slaughter was about to begin. Hell had opened its gates.
Horn had only one goal now: revenge.
