CHAPTER 6: EXTRAORDINARY CAPABILITIES

When an intense pain in my chest ripped me from unconsciousness, I couldn't help but curse that bitch for the shot. Gasping, I tried to open my eyes, but a blinding light blinded me. Blinking, I finally realized I was in an entirely white room, from ceiling to floor.

Heart racing, and cold sweat running down my body as I recalled what had happened. Suddenly, a terrible headache made me clutch my head, thinking my skull was about to explode. With the pain's end, the memories of my two lives were synchronized.

With the new memories, I discovered that this room was not real but rather a dream that was part of my ability, which I called the Dream Dimension, a mental realm where I had absolute control, allowing me to transform reality itself.

Controlling the dimension, I turned the room into a paradise beach. Even familiar with this power, the sand beneath my feet, the palm tree shadows on my face, the gentle breeze, and the sound of waves breaking on the shore seemed so vivid that at times, I questioned if reality might just be a dream like this.

Analyzing my memories, I was pleased to realize that my desire to be a "perfect earthling" had come true in its entirety. I have almost total control over my body and mind; the only restriction to my control was the Goddess's curse, but even so, I can no longer be called human.

I possess superhuman abilities, including metamorphosis, regeneration, strength, dexterity, endurance, intellect, memory, senses, and immortality. My mind resembles a supercomputer, capable of performing various tasks, deleting, creating, editing, organizing, and even blocking my memories, as well as processing and storing unimaginable amounts of data. The sensitivity of each sense can be adjusted to the point of deactivating them completely.

In my memories as Louis, I realized I wouldn't wake up as a child. I had overlooked that each species has its own maturation time. Thus, my body, being of a different species, matured much more quickly than humans.

In just four years, I reached two meters in height, 100 kg in weight, and the appearance of a twenty-year-old. However, compared to piglets, born with 1 kg and reaching 300 kg in the same period, starting puberty at six months, my growth was still considered slow.

Ignoring the confusion about my age, I focused on discovering my special ability, which, like my memory, was awakened today. After some attempts, a simple panel appeared:

At the lower center of the panel, I found the introduction to the GACHA, which said:

The panel has three notations. The first one (DAYS) indicates how many days have been counted. The second one (RAFFLE) shows how many drawing chances you still have. The third one (DEPOSIT) informs how many drawings you have participated in but have not yet claimed the prize.

Every hundred days, you gain a chance to participate in a drawing. Each drawing has four prizes, but only one can be claimed. A raffle may be linked to a target, which can be a person or character. The probability of an item becoming a prize is influenced by various factors.

These factors are affected by you, the drawing's target, and for your respective countrymen. The more accessible, valued, used, reproducible, known, and desired an item is, the higher the chance of it becoming a prize.

In addition to the title, illustration, and description of the prizes, there are three distinct types of awards: Common, which is a prize that can exist without any connection to the GACHA; Meta, which is a prize that cannot exist in the reality you are in unless it is linked to the GACHA and will cease to exist when you want or die; Special, which is a prize that grants partial and circumstantial control over the GACHA.

Analyzing the number of days on the panel, I noticed that the GACHA considered my existence since fertilization. Also, if my target is a Neanderthal, I might get a spear or a piece of meat, but not a phone or a pen.

I decided that I will draw them all, using different targets, thus allowing us to evaluate the variations between the prizes. The first six will target the character Jenny from the movie 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend.' Following that, another six raffles will be linked to a famous writer from my previous world. The last five will not have a specific connection.

When I finished all the draws, I read the description of each prize. However, as I read the 68 descriptions, one prize made me anxious. The Summoning of Existence award (9.1), was capable of summoning any living being, in any physical state, from my previous world. A dilemma then arose: I wanted to summon my mother, but that would create a paradox by losing the GACHA to save her.

If I create this paradox, I will, without being aware, be part of a Time Loop. In it, I save my mother and lose the GACHA. Without he, I can't save my mother. By not saving her, I acquire the GACHA again and, once again, I try to save her, without knowing that I had already done so, perpetuating an infinite loop.

So what I'm going to do is test the Special prizes to see if GACHA has countermeasures and what solutions it would have for something so unusual. But that will be done later.

Of the five Metas prizes, I could only redeem four, which would be: the meteor (4.2), which would transform me into a version of Superman; the ring (13.4), with a spherical space 5 meters in diameter, would be extremely useful; the Temporal acceleration skill (15.1), although it didn't allow time travel like Flash's, would still make me much faster than Quicksilver; finally, the pair of Divine Eyes (17.3) would be much better used by me than by Leonardo.

Furthermore, there were six Special prizes, of which only two interested me: World Travel (6.2), which by the description allows me to go to Jenny's world for 72 hours; and the Invocation of Existence (9.1), which allows me to summon a living being from my previous world. The other cards are interesting, but they are restricted to the world of the targets.

But for now, as I was in the dream dimension, I would only retrieve the common skills, which would be:

A large amount of information confused my thoughts; these pieces of information were mostly memories of using these abilities. In moments, I had processed all this information.
