N/A: I know that many people will say that the letter in the previous chapter is too much taken out, but I tell you that much later, more specifically in the next book that I will take out of this story when I finish this one, you will already know the reason for the letter and why it appeared, after all this story I have it planned until much more in the future.
I don't do things randomly, I am giving you why although not now but later.
"Well it's all ready mommy "said Abie while she had on her back, a small backpack where she was carrying her favorite doll, given to her by her brother Ethan, whom she had already labeled as her brother.
(Elsie) "Well let's go..."
Elsie said to Abie while carrying her in her arms, with her backpack and clothes on her back.
The walk to Alan's house was not very long because after a few minutes they reached it and everything was as they had found it in the morning, all scattered.
"Alan is a disaster when it comes to tidying up his things... "commented Elsie as she began to carry all the clothes to Alan's room since she planned to sleep in Ethan's room with her daughter.
Not because of anything in particular, but because Ethan's room was much cleaner and most importantly why all of Ethan's underwear was in a box and not strewn about as you could see from the doorway all over Alan's room.
So that her daughter Abie wouldn't look at Alan's underwear, Elsie preferred to stay in Ethan's room, which, although much smaller than Alan's, still at least accommodated her and Abie.
"You can go put all the clothes away, daughter... "Elsie said.
"Don't worry mommy...abie is going to clean up and tidy everything. To help mommy with her things "Abie said, getting a pat on her head for her pleasure.
"Well daughter...it won't take me long at all to get back "Elsie said as she left Ethan's room.
Elsie wanted to have a meeting with all the villagers, to say the new rules that would be in place now that she was a leader if people opposed her it was fine for her as she will not be the leader and if no one opposed her it was also fine as it would be easier for her when leading the village.
The first thing that Elsie did, in order for everyone to get together first agreed on a meeting place, which would be the square that was built some time ago and that was not used for anything because all the meetings were at Alan's house.
"You can tell the people that I will be talking to them, I will be communicating several things "said Elsie to the boy from the trio of brothers who a few moments ago told her what was really hidden in that village.
Yes ma'am! Replied the young man, before speeding out of Elsie's sight to tell the villagers everything.
The people did not wait for long in the plaza, since after about 30 minutes after he gave the statement to the young man, all the people began to arrive.
(Elsie) "Well before we start...as many of you know my name is elsie and I will be the new leader from now on until alan shows up."
(Elsie) "I am not good at leading, as I never thought I would do it...but for the moment to make everything easier for you and calmer for me too, I have been proposing to divide the village into two groups section A, which lives on the left and section B which lives on the right...anyone have any objections so far?"
Villagers:.....
Elsie: well ..... in a few days I will be thinking about who will be the respective leaders of each section, who will give me reports on how the food production is going.
With the message already given, Elsie went to the house where her little daughter Abie was standing at the door waiting for her.
"Mommy, I'm so glad you're back... "said Elsie's little daughter, as she gave her mother a smile.
"Well this is going to be a tough one...but all because my daughter will have a quiet life... "thought Elsie, as she carried her daughter in her arms before entering the house.
(2 days later)
"I'm still undecided on who to place in the leadership positions "Elsie's decision at this point was critical, if she wanted everything to go smoothly, she couldn't choose someone incompetent...as it might spoil the idea Elsie had.
After all, this was just a village...she wasn't supposed to do much with the few people there were, if she chose the respective leaders of each sector of the village, Elsie thought she could finish her duties in the shortest time possible and then spend time with her daughter.
Elsie didn't plan to make the same mistake as Alan, after all...she wasn't like a mother to Ethan for nothing, she knew all too well the lack of a father on Ethan's part...who always kept quiet by keeping his emotions inside his heart.
"I'm going for a walk...do you want to come with me daughter "Elsie said as she watched her daughter playing with the doll Ethan had given her.
"Don't worry mom I'm going to stay here...playing with brother Ethan's gift "Abie said as she continued to play with her doll.
"He looks so much like Ethan...really that boy had more influence on my daughter than me and especially her father... "Elsie said as she gave a bitter smile before leaving the house.
Elsie's plan was to look around the village again...she had been doing that yesterday but had not found anyone promising, as the men had spent too much time working with their bodies in heavy labor...which had degraded what might once have been called intelligence and the women almost similar to the men, only the only difference was that while they did not work late, they also had to tend the greenhouses.
Elsie's passage through the village was noticed by everyone who greeted her as she worked, and so the morning went by as she watched the people work, but nothing she saw met her expectations.
While everyone worked well...I could not find a born leader among the people who worked.
*sigh*
"another waste of time...well it's time to go get dinner ready for my daughter, "Elsie said as she walked by the three brothers' house.
But who knew that at that moment I would find her, someone who was born or at least had some capabilities to be a good leader.
The youngest of the three siblings was the one who had attracted Elsie's gaze, a girl who, although very quiet when he met her, did well when it came to giving orders efficiently.
The girl apparently had a little notebook in which she wrote down words, which Elsie could not see where she was.
So he approached her to ask her one last question...the girl's ability to lead was already proven, now all that was left was to see if she was good at managing and solving problems.
