REQUIEM

Ever since the reset the world has progressed, let's look at some interesting specimens, shall we? None of the world's outer appearances have changed besides the gods.

The thing is, each species focused on one specific type of power,in this case the gods were heavily into magic,humans into technology, ghosts into taboo and tarots,beasts into Eden fruits,Demi Gods into Codex's, Angels into Fusion of Souls and last but not least the demons in affinities.

Hence Phase 1 has ended. With gods using the rings around their planet to build castles etc,but beside them, none have done any physical change but some strong infrastructural changes within humans.

It was a bright day, a jam bun was handed to a child,the child looked up at the person who handed it,the man said that he was in a hurry and handed the bun before hurrying away.

The kid ate it fast,he was thin and scrawny, he did not have any strength to even run from the kids who mocked him. After eating the bun he finally had the strength to walk around.

He walked across the street to see if he could find something that would catch his eye,he saw a few children practicing magic and he wondered to himself if one day he could too.

Just then the children caught him peeking from a hole in the wall, Aiden the boy who led the children held his book and pointed his wand toward the hole.

The boy stepped back realizing what the boy was about to do,a sound that caused the boy to freeze in place was from the very wand that attracted the boy in the first place, a small ball of fire pierced the boy's eye.

Aiden screamed in joy "Bullseye",the boy didn't say anything, no screams,no yelps, nothing, he was quiet. But someone rushed toward the boy.

A young woman rushed towards the boy who had no longer had an eye. His left eye was gone. The woman tried healing it but it was pointless. She caught Aiden and took him to an old man who was sleeping right next to these children.

The old man seemed annoyed at the woman,but looked up before asking her nicely what she wanted. The woman was holding the boy's ear and shouted at the man for letting these children do violent activities such as hurting others.

The old man was least bothered proving this by immediately asking rather inappropriate questions. The lady seemed disgusted before asking if he was from the church of the plague.

The old man got annoyed and immediately pulled out his wand threatening her to leave before he did something unwanted.The child that lost his eye,the woman had wrapped his eye in bandages.

The child took the wand from Aiden and pointed it at the old man. The old man smiled at the child and asked the boy if he knew his own name, the boy seemed sad "no,i don't have a name. My mom died before giving me one".

"Elias Thornebrook" ever heard that name before the leader of the very church you had insulted.

The woman realized it was pointless and took the child and started to leave. After reaching the end of the street, the boy looked around, still holding Aiden's wand.

Aiden began nagging to Elias about his wand. Elias was rather annoyed that someone used his church's name against name and asked the boy to shut up as he looked at the boy and the woman again.

What a pity she is not part of my church.The boy asked the woman why she had helped him, she responded saying it's what we do,that's what nice people do.

The boy asked what she meant when she said "we", The Church Of Nyx. She asked the boy if he really had no name, the boy confirming it. Ok you are my brother from today! My name is Rosalind Holloway" and from now on you will be Edward Holloway.

Rosalind took the boy home, gave him a bath,dressed him up and fed him. The boy was happy for the first time and not like the happiness he gained from stealing another's food and hard earned money.

She read the boy a book before he slept, and said I will take you to the Church Of Codex, the boy asked I was part of a church before too.he shuddered in fear .The Church Of

Blood.

Rosalind knew that church was a dangerous one,they sacrificed children on a monthly basis,so as they both continued to talk to Edward before they both fell asleep.

The next day Rosalind took Edward to a well-known doctor. They said the eye was gone and it's better to remove it. Rosalind felt sad she was unable to do anything, so sent the boy for well-known surgery.

Surgery in this world isn't a big task as magic exists,hence the surgery took less than an hour and they covered the boy's eye and wrapped it with bandages they gave an eyepatch. I'm sorry she said to Edward.

Edward said it's not her fault. She took him to the church. It was a huge Church,so the boy was taken by the church people. He was worried he'd be taken again, just then a man came in. He was well dressed in blue robes and had long golden hair.

My name is Victor Cromwell,what is yours? He asked Edward, Edward shyly hid behind the lady holding him "Edward,Edward Holloway". Holloway? Are you related to Rosalind?

The lady or nun told the story and Victor understood and took the boy to be baptized,before the baptism Victor took the boy to a room. He asked the boy to share his sins with him. A boy of age 7 or 8 to have sins.

Sins? Edward was 7 at the time he did not even know what the word sin meant. Victor said you reek of blood others can't tell but I can,you killed someone didn't you?

Edward was rather surprised that he could tell Aiden… it was quiet for a few moments. You killed the son of an aristocrat? Victor shivered that a 7 year old murdered another child.

The son of an aristocrat was said to be missing that day, what did he do to you? Victor asked, you see my eye he took it. How did you kill him? I used the same magic spell he used to shoot my eye. I poured more mana than he did.

He died. I got rid of his body. How Victor asked, I burnt it to ashes, what about the blood? An old man saw me do it and he tried holding me so I stabbed him in the neck and ran away.Edward right?

Edward,Where did you learn magic? I saw that kid do it… does your sister know you went out? No I went out using a stealth skill,is that your soul power? No I don't have one I can only copy what I see.

I'll show you something if you can replicate it… I'll take you in. I don't want to be taken in. I have my sister,I'll take her in too. He sent the boy out and asked him to wait outside.

Cromwell here, I found a potential candidate. He grabbed his face and smiled as he spoke in a pocket watch-like device that seemed to send a message to someone.he took Edward with him and announced something to the whole church.

From today I am adopting Rosalind Holloway and Edward Holloway as my own children,any objections? Rosalind was reasonably shaken,she needed to know what happened inside the room.

From now on you are Rosalind Cromwell and Edward Cromwell, understood? They both nodded their heads in excitement. Hence they were taken to the mansion of Cromwell. 

They were greeted by the wife of Cromwell, Amelia Cromwell. She had nice tanned skin and was a very kind woman who treated all those around her as family, so she was quick to take care of the two new children.

The pocket watch in Victor's pocket started vibrating,he had a meeting with the other church leaders. He was a bit scared because to say the least,they were all very,very unique people.Each species had its own representative.

After the Coalition world was formed, several churches were formed in order to keep peace and power in check. So each species put forward a representative who held absolute power in their region.but the world capital is here with all species.

Church Of Blood- Van Helsing (Supernatural)

Church Of Codex- Victor Cromwell(Human)

Church Of Souls- Silas Ravencroft (Ghost)

Church Of Plague- Nero Stormhaven (Demon)

Church Of Beasts- Cordelia The Corvid (Beast)

Church Of Power- Julian The Heartless (Coalition)

Church Of Demi- Blue Frostwell (Demi God)

While the others are not of concern, The Church Of Power held the most power as it had powerful members,the leader itself said to have a frightening past.

As he got ready,Victor saw the phantom horse, a rare creature that takes people to their journey fast.As he got on the horse, the horse neighed before a portal appeared and the horse ran in.

He held the horse by its leash before reaching the destination before.and he finally saw them. The leaders all stood there.Elias Thornebrooke,the one with the nastiest personality,the assistant of Nero Stormhaven.

He called out someone,Prudence Igancius. His assistants had hidden under the phantom horse, Victor calling him out on it, Prudence ignored it and continued to give him a brief of everything. About how it's the first meeting that everyone including "him" are coming to.

A cube appeared above the castle and then a portal beneath their feet,pulling everyone in. They were brought into a dark room with a round table. The leaders took their places while their assistants stood behind them and the meeting started.

Should we start with the brief or is it not important,these were the words of a pretty woman with thick black eyelashes. It was almost as though she wore her black dress to represent a certain animal or a bird,a crow.

Everyone had the same thing to say, Victor Cromwell stood up as he began to tell Nero the hunched man in a cloak that emitted a black smoke like aura.what was it? He stood up this time upright towering as though he was threatening Victor.

Victor stood firm as opposed to backing down,your man "Elias Thornebrooke" was harassing a member of my church. Nero turned his eye to Elias who started to sweat as though he was afraid,what did he do?

He asked questions I'd rather not mention, they were inappropriate to say the least. There was silence before Nero turned around and asked Elias if it was true,Elias nervously backed down. Another member got annoyed and put his head on the table and proceeded to sleep.

He was likely the most dangerous person in the room. Nero sliced the tongue of Elias and gave it to Victor. Victor unhinged said don't want it I was hoping you'd put some sense in him you instilled hate toward me.

That's the point,Nero smiled as his eyes glowed white. Do I have permission sir,Prudence asked. Nero smiled as he said if you want to fight you can do it across the table without waking up Mr.Julian here.

Prudence killed Elias by snapping his neck after Elias tried to cast a fire spell and teleporting behind him.Nero laughed it off as prudence dragged his body before teleporting away. How nice Victor was annoyed that they killed someone here.

Ok Victor let's start with you. Victor saw a humanoid figure with about 6 arms. Puppeteer was here, I found the Codex Of The Purple Spiked Dragon. He backed himself up by calling Prudence who had teleported and then gave him a signal which Prudence then bought a cube.

A codex is a cube that records information,Humans are the only specimen able to use these cubes,there are an unknown amount of Codexes as they keep being created with every specimen born.

Interesting. The Puppeteer continued then… Nero, what about you? Nero chuckled as he put a fruit on the table,This is the Midas fruit. The assistants looked at each other as the golden fruit shimmered brightly.

How'd you find it.I didn't have to, some demon came up to me asking for 8 billion Reme,just killed him and got it. Turns out the demon was part of some smuggling business. We got all of the elves and orcs free from slavery as well so....

So Victor found the Purple Spiked Dragons Codex,Nero caught a smuggling business and Captured Midas's fruit. Next me,The woman dressed in black,Cordelia The Corvid, Puppeteer was happy to see her.

Always nice to see you Cordelia,Cordelia blushed as she always does. We hope to hold a tournament in the Coalition Country and want the permission of Julian,a knife flew across the room barely scraping her but still made her bleed.

Cordelia shrunk back,as she stepped on her gown and slipped as her assistant Milo the Martial Dog caught her. As she blushed again,she got back to her senses and quickly got annoyed at the one who threw it.

By this point the puppeteer and the perpetrator Julian were already face to face about to fight it out. Before the Puppeteer said it's pointless to fight,get down. Both of them sat down as Julian sighed and gave permission for the tournament to take place.

His Black hair and a white highlight. The highlight spreads further he used it,his green eyes glowed whenever he used his unfathomable power. What was it? Anyway Then I shall make preparations for the Tourney. Cordelia smiled.

And anyone else? I guess we found some important taboocraft related spells, Van Helsing. As another member Blue was enthusiastic about collaborating with Helsing. Helsing was annoyed at first but realizing he could use the help to decode the ACTs function he cooperated with them.

Blue was the smartest of this bunch; he was known to instantly learn something just by going through the basics. Blue was an enthusiastic fellow who seemed the kindest but was rather the sickest here.

Blue and Helsing started talking about some ACTs functions while submitting some papers to the puppeteer, ok quite… next is Silas or Percival or Julian. Julian simply said I had plans about creating a task force to maintain law.

Good idea really. Puppeteer continued towards Percival who just handed a This is the bow of fate and it can shoot an arrow that will always hit the wanted target,hmm a divine artifact. Blue was interested so he offered money,8 million reme can I buy it?

8 million? Ain't that a little less stingy?, Blue was a little pissed but remained calm. Fine, 15 million. 20 and it's yours.he's someone who's into money he's the richest among them all! His long white hair, tall and lean his specialty was known to be money making

They had a deal right there and as the meeting was done all of them looked at the puppeteer. The puppeteer quickly said the tournament will be conducted the 16th of this month the tournament shall be held.
