The Cavern

Night fall

Lucy's POV

"Open gate of the ram, Aries." in a poof of pink smoke aries appeared and said

"How c-c-can I help-p you princess." I groaned and said

" Aries could you please make a giant wool bed enough to fit, I dont know, thirty people. Please." Aries nodd's and putts her hands out and shouts

"Wool-wall." Once a huge mass of wool came out aries disappeared and I called out vergo.

"Hi vergo, um can you dig a cave for us all to sleep in. and so we can put this" I pat the wool, Vergo nodds and then just dissapered. A few moments later she reapeared and walked out a pair of stairs. "Thank you Vergo." and with that she dissapeared.

I grabbed ahold of the massive woolen bed and shove it down into the cavern below my feet.

When I get the bed in I look around, the walls were lined with collumes and there were indents for laps to go. On the far right a fire place sat. I pushed the massive bed out and around until it covered the majority of the floor. I smile satisfyed at my work and usher everyone into the cavern.

I begin to make a spot for me and Hai. Unwrapping him from my body I let him sink into the soft wool and he was still sleeping like a log.

"Hey Blondie" Laxus says behind me and I practically jump from my skinn.

"Shhhh. Laxus you don't want to wake him up." Immediately he softened his voice and said,

"I was kinda amazed that he uses lightning like me." I nodd and pat the wool. He sits down next to me and sighs,

"This is so soft." A laugh escapes me as I touch the soft wool and finally say to him,

"Hai is a dragon, he's a dual wielding one. He can control water and electricity, both are fearsome alone but when put together it's terrifying, you know how conductive water is." Laxus just stairs, his mouth hung open and I laugh a little.

"He's a dragon." Was all laxus could get out in his astonishment.

"Yeah, he's still a child but is so so strong."

Laxus POV

I stair at the form of the sleeping boy, I had thought he might be a second generation like myself but he's an actual dragon, and a lighting and water one at that. Lucy looks at him with so much love and caring I understood why he called her Mama now. She looked at him like he was her own, with such kindness and compassion.

When the idiots had kicked lucy out i had almost murdered them. I had seen the blondie fight and knew she was fierce even befor she left, she had such determination and was always striving to help everyone around her but was strong enough to deal with the two squabbling idiots. She was more of a silent supporter back then. But today she was terrifying in her casual power. What had happened to lucy, did she real do a dragon's roar.

"Hey blondie did you actually use a dragon's roar today" Her face turned pink and she touched her shoulder and finally said to me,

"I have a dragon soul in my body. " And with that she pulls down the top part of her shirt to reveal a swirling black tattoo.

"His name was Cecil, and he was a celestial dragon, perfect right." I just stare at her, what had she been through when she was alone.

"Want to have a drink." was all I said and she nodded

"Lets all have a drink and catch up after all the kids are asleep." She turned her attention to the kids who were all crawling up in the wool. Some of them had even abandoned their top layers of cloths so that they could be warmer.

-hour later-

Vergo had created another room and lucy had gotten aries to fill it with wool so that we were all comfy. Freed, Evergreen and Bixlow all sat on one side while erza, gajeel and Levy sat on the other side, Lucy slipped in with a sleepy Hai in her arms.

"They're all asleep now." She said and Erza gave one of her proud smiles

"You were very fierce today Lucy. Im impressed." Lucy blushed and Hai sat up, his hair stuck up in all directions blinking a few times he turned just his head and looked at erza and she continued,

"And Hai I was impressed, you were so fierce and courageous taking all those bad men down." at this he came alive and shot up and looked at Lucy and she began to fix his hair while saying,

"I was impressed you dealt with them so quickly and efficiently." He seemed to grin and I put in my own opinion,

"I too was impressed. I am a second generation Lightning dragon slayer and your lightning was well controlled and yet very powerful." Hai turned his face to me and I felt a pang of sadness as I saw his scar again. The first time I had seen it I had been enraged on the inside.

"I was." he gave me a huge toothy grin and said back to me,

"I was really impressed by you too, the amount of power you used was incredible, it was very high grade, but you need to learn where to strike it." I blinked a couple times and Hai pointed to a few points on his body,

"If you strike these places then it will damage their nerve system and paralyze them." He ended by touching his spine and I nodded my head, I had never thought of doing something like that, usually it was just hit them until they dropped.

"Humm, that's great to know. I have a hard time with placement but I can try it," I say but Hai has a solution.

"Instead of trying to control the bold give it a place to strike and it will hit there instead." He pushed some of the wool aside until the dirt floor was revealed and drew an 'X' in it. He then struck the exact center with a small jolt of electricity,

"Humm I see." I reached my hand out and focused on the 'X' and let a bit of lightning escape from my body, it struck the 'X' but not the center. Growling in annoyance I tried again and this time I was closer,

"You're doing really well, it took me a couple days for me to get the very center." The small boys body seemed to melt away and a dragon sat in his place, it was black with blue tipped scales, I saw a couple yellow electricity scars covering his body, on the side of his face a huge ugly Bright blue scar marred it. I couldn't help myself as I reached out and touched it, tears leaked from my eyes and that's when I noticed everyone staring, levy said curiously,

"Gajeel did the exact same thing when he saw him in dragon form." I look up at Gajeel and saw a pained expression on his face when he saw it. I felt Freed's hand on my arm I turned to look at him.

"Laxus what's the matter." I wiped my eyes with my hand and said,

"I don't know why i'm crying, it's these emotions, I can't help it. I just, just want to tear whoever did this to him to tiny little peices." I looked to lucy as she hugged him to her chest and then scratched him above his eye ridge. He stood up after the scratch and slipped over to me. Crawling in my he rested his head on my lap and said to me,

"I expect some good head scratches, mama is really nice and warm so you better be a good head scratcher for me to have given that up." A laugh escapes me as I begin to scratch him, he seemed to melt under my hand and when I scratched him below his his jaw i let out a grunt of pain. His tail had began to wag and it had nailed me in the stomach. Hai just rolled over and exposed his belly for me to rub. Gajeel huffed and I looked up to find everyone else deep in conversation except for gajeel. Sighing I scooted over and the iron dragon slayer moved next to me. Hai transferred his head from my lap to Gajeel's and the iron dragon slayer smiled as he scratched his head. After a few more minutes i heard a soft snore and saw that Hai had passed out. His reptilian tongue lolled out of the side of his mouth and covered his nose. Whenever he exhaled it would flutter up and then be sucked back down and then flutter up. Lucy noticed and laughed lightly,

"I'll take him back now. It's been a long day and he needs his sleep. "
