When he opened it and saw the computer and computer case, he lost all hope of keeping it together. Ian got up and ran to Rémy. “My last computer was given to me by the person who most loved me in the whole world.”
Rémy kissed him gently. “I hope that this is but a harbinger of what’s to come.” Ian cried in Rémy’s arms.
Marie Claire and Luc served the meal, and Ian asked that they be allowed to sit with the rest of them for dinner. The Caesar salad, prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli with hollandaise knocked him over. “I’ve never tasted anything this good. I can’t believe you did all of this for me. Can I kiss the cook?” Marie Claire glanced over at Rémy who nodded his head.
Ian gave Marie Claire a chaste kiss on the cheek, and both she and Luc received another big hug.
