Doesn't deserve you

Jesse's POV 

"Linda stared at me with pity as I finish telling her my story. 

She stood up from the bed and look for a handkerchief for me to wipe off the tears from my eyes. 

"Thanks". I murmured and took the handkerchief from her. 

She smiled at me before sitting beside me 

"I just can't take it anymore, I'm tired, I'm tired of explaining things to him, I'm tired of telling him how much I loved him and how much I still love him. 

She hissed softly and gently taps my shoulder 

"It's okay Jesse, hearing all this from you, I don't know what to say anymore, I don't think anyone can endure all this pains for so many years and still love the person this much, you waiting for him for the pass twelve years is something I can never do, but you did that, and he treated like this ".she shakes her head and look away 

"I need to do what is right, and that is leaving Benson and leaving him for good ". I murmured and stood up from the bed, 

"What about Lilly ". Hearing those words from Linda I stood at a spot and hissed in pains, I Love that child and would have love to be the mother she never had, but I can't, I can't keep forcing myself on Benson.

"Lilly will be fine, she was doing well without me, and she will still cope without me and beside you are there for her, she doesn't need me ". I muttered out those words and brought out my remaining clothes from the closet and started arranging them in the bag.

Linda stared at me for a while before getting up from the bed, 

"You are a nice woman miss, if only sir Benson could see that ".she smiled at me before leaving the room.

I took in a deep breath and continued arranging my clothes when my phone started ringing, I checked the call and saw that it was from the dance director. I murmured and picked up the call

"Hello sir". I murmured

"Hello Jesse, we need your help ".he muttered out 

"What is it ?". I asked confused

"The show is just a few hours from now "

"I know that ". I murmured

He took in a deep breath before speaking up 

"Sophia just broke her ankles while practicing at home, and she can't dance with us at least for a week ".he muttered out frustrated.

"Shit"

"So what should we do ?". I asked 

"That is where you come in Jesse, we need your help, royal dance academy needs your help, you know you are the only one who can dance that lead solo".he spoke those words in a shaking voice, it was obvious he was scared of my decision.

"Please I know I might have wronged you with my words, but please don't let others suffer for it ".he spoke almost as a plead 

I roughly ran my fingers through my hair and sat on the bed before speaking up 

"Fine, I'll do it "

"Thanks, so you should be here in the next two hours, so we can practice some steps "

"Alright, I'll be there"

"Thanks ".he muttered out those words and ended the call.

I parked my things in my bag and changed my clothes before putting my costumes in my bag.

I left the room and went downstairs when I noticed my phone ringing, I checked the caller and noticed it was from Daniel 

"Hello Daniel"

"Hey Jesse".

"How are you ".he asked, 

"I'm fine, on my way to practice ". I spoke up

"Alright, I'm leaving Australia for china this afternoon for a business meeting ".he spoke up 

"That's good, I wish you luck ".

“Thank you "

"Daniel ". I called out his name 

He took a deep breath before speaking up 

"I'm listening Jesse".he replied in a calm voice, it was obvious he knew what I wanted to say to him.

I took in a deep breath for what I was about to say.

"You are a nice guy Daniel ,and I know so many girls will kill just to be with you, but I can't, at least not now ". I murmured 

"Why not you ".he muttered out in pains 

I shake my head and sat on the couch 

"I wish I can love you or any other man, but I can't, I can't tell my heart whom to love ". I whispered in pains, 

"You know I can wait if you want me to ".he tried convincing me.

"No, Daniel, I don't want you to keep on waiting". I begged, 

"I'm not myself anymore, I need to get myself before I can think of getting myself into any relationship ". I muttered out seriously, 

I heard him hissed angrily and kept quiet for a while before he spoke up 

"You are a nice girl Jesse, I hope you get back to your right senses and see that that dick head doesn't deserve you and I will be waiting for you whenever you need me ".he muttered out those words and ended the call on me.

I stared at me the phone and thought for a while, maybe he was right, just maybe Benson doesn't deserve me.

I stood up from the couch and left the house.

I took a taxi and went to the rehearsal hall where I met the dance instructor already waiting for me, 

"Good day ". I greeted him and went to the room to change my into my dancing costume.

I came out of the changing room and walk up to the hall where he was waiting for me, 

"Are you ready ?"he asked 

"Yeah ". I nod my head at him 

"Alright let's start "

"Music".he instructed the sound director who immediately put on the music

"One, two, three go " .he muttered out, and I started dancing.

I practice for hours until he asked me to go on a break.

I breathe in relief and sat on the floor while taking some rest.

He walks up to me with a smile on his face before speaking up 

“You are a great dancer Jesse, and today I stand before you and confess that you are the best dancer I have ever instructed in my entire career years"

Hearing those words from him, I smiled to myself and murmured to myself

"You are not the first person telling me this ".
