“We are going to the human world?” I asked her as she was driving to the place where she wanted me to accompany her to.
“Uh-huh,” she replied simply, and I didn't ask any more questions since she still didn't want to tell me anything, though I had an inkling that she was bringing me to see the human man from the bar.
After two hours of driving, we finally reached our destination. I was shocked when I looked outside the window to see a bridal store.
Was Livie going to marry her mate so soon?
“Char, let’s go!” Livie was already standing outside the bridal store while I was still inside the car. I quickly got off and joined her.
We entered the bridal store, and I saw a tall and handsome man walking toward us.
The man laughed and opened his arms as he saw Livie rushing toward him.
“Char, this is Luis, my fated mate,” Livie said shyly as she nestled in Luis’ arms.
“Luis, that’s Charlotte, my best friend,” Livie introduced us.
