The banquet-3

MC POV:

After the interactions part of the banquet, the dance part of the banquet began. This as when the noble descendants sent by various noble houses to the summoned asked for a dance from those whom they were accompanying. In my and Sato's case no one asked as we were accompanying no descendants of the noble families.

The noble descendants who have asked to accompany us were rejected which made their mood sour and force them to ask others.

We may not be from this world but as we all were from rich families we all were given training in dance, music and other kind of activities so that one would not embarrass oneself in front of others in different kind of public events. That was the reason the summoned ones did not embarrass themselves on the dance floor.

While I and Sato were sitting on our seat and looking at the dances we were approached by someone unexpected.

"princess Anastasia Von Zeclyd, what might you want from us???" I asked looking towards the pink haired crystal blue eyed beauty who approached while the dances were still going.

The princess looked towards me and smile "I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to a dance!".

It would be a lie to say I was not surprised as I didn't think she would ask me to accompany her to a dance. I assumed she would come meet me to talk as before she looked like she wanted to say something but this development is indeed interesting. I was even thinking of accepting whatever offer she had for us assuming we don't lose from the deal at the very least.

you would wonder why I would choose her over the already established noble houses, even though I don't know what her current political condition are I know one thing and that is that her condition isn't much good. Many nobles went towards the throne and greeted the royal family members but no one had come to greet her. This alienation is only possible if her political position isn't good. Now why would I choose her??? It's the instinct of a person trained to be a businessman. I feel like teaming with her gives many opportunity and having a relation with her would benefit me greatly.

"It would be my honor!" I said as I put my hand forward to take her hand.

She put her hand on mine and we went to the dance stage under the gazes of the nobles, summoned ones and my childhood friend Sato who for some reason didn't look in a really good mood since the princess asked me to accompany her to dance.

We started dancing after I put one my hand behind her back and the other on her hands, she did the same. Once we were ready we started dancing but the way we danced was somehow on another level compare to the rest of noble descendants or summoned ones.

I from the very beginning am somehow able to learn things faster than the other children. As someone who can learn things fast I had a lot of time left until other learned what I learnt. I used that time to polish those skills I've learnt to make myself better maybe that is the reason my dance looks more than those of the other summoned ones.

On the other hand the princess even though has less political power must have learn these skills so as to not embarrass the royal family whether it be in this country or in other county.

While we were dancing the other on the dance floor and those outside of the dance floor were all mesmerized by the dance and stopped what they were doing and started to stare at us.

"Thank you for accompanying me to this dance esteemed summoned one." the princess whispered while smiling.

"Negative, you can call me that as what you call me is pretty long and uncomfortable to hear; sorry for my frankness." I replied.

"Oh if that is the case then you can call me Anastasia as my name is also long and I don't like formalities very much." the princess replied.

"Ok then Anastasia what may you need to invite me here to a dance. I assume you didn't want just the dance but also wanted to have a talk over something."

"you're very sharp aren't you? yes I wanted to ask if you were available to have a meeting with me later in a private room so that we can discuss some important details and probably make a deal!"
