Enemy Of The Wijaya Family
Jessica's hard slap not only made Luna's cheeks sting and hurt, but her heart also hurt. Jessica looked sharply and coldly at her daughter, she was very angry because Luna was about to run away to Korea to avoid an arranged marriage she didn't want.
"Luna, how dare you run away from your mansion. Do you want to avoid the matchmaking we arranged for you?!" Jessica asked in a rising voice.
"That's right, Mom. I want to avoid the arranged marriage that you have arranged for me. I don't want to marry a man I don't know, I'd better go as far as possible from Jakarta and marry my boyfriend in Korea!" Luna's eyes flashed, she firmly and confidently expressed her wish to Jessica.
"What?! You said you were going to marry your boyfriend in Korea?! Didn't I hear wrong, Luna?! Tell me, who is your boyfriend and what is the job?!" Jessica looked at her probingly.
"My boyfriend is Robert Ashton, he works at a Mobile Media Company as a Marketing Manager," Luna replied.
"You ... you and Robert are dating? Oh my gosh! You know very well that Robert is the son of an enemy of the Wijaya family! But instead you have a special relationship with him, you even want to marry that man!" Jessica was very surprised to learn that her youngest daughter was dating the fourth child of Edmund Ashton, Arthur's business rival who was notorious for being cunning, cruel, and slick.
"Since a few years ago I know that Robert is the son of Mr. Edmund, I love him and no one can stop our love including Mom and Dad!" said Luna, her words made Jessica even angrier. The graceful woman standing in front of Luna suddenly felt her chest tighten, she was barely able to support herself with her legs.
Meanwhile, Arthur stood frozen beside the airport entrance. He didn't think that Luna had a special relationship with Robert. Arthur was silent for a while without being able to utter a word or two to Luna.
"I am sorry, Mom. I just love Robert, I want Mom and Dad to bless our relationship," Luna pleaded with a pleading tone of voice.
"We will never approve of your relationship with that man!" Arthur rebuked after he was able to control his shock.
Luna turned to her father, then she again begged even she kneeled in front of her father, "Please, Dad. Allow me to marry Robert."
"No, Luna! Dad won't let you marry Robert! You have to marry Andy!" Arthur snapped.
The father and daughter argued in front of Jessica, Alice, and Luna's nanny regardless of Jessica's condition which was getting weaker because Jessica's chest was so tight, her head was spinning too. Without them knowing, Jessica fell to the floor holding her left chest.
Alice screamed when she saw Luna's mother lying on the floor, making everyone passing by in front of the airport gasp. Suddenly, they stopped their respective steps and looked at the woman who was fainting.
"Arghh! Mrs. Jessica!" Alice's eyes were wide open, her mouth was agape.
Arthur and Linda were as shocked as the people, they rushed to Jessica and Arthur carried his wife's body. Before he took Jessica to his car, he said to Luna.
"Luna! Starting today, you have to stay at our house! I am going to ask Mr. Charlie to speed up your and Andy's marriage. You can't go anywhere and don't you dare have anything to do with Robert again, understand?!" Arthur rebuked, he stared blankly at his daughter.
Luna was silent as she lowered her head. At that time her mind was in turmoil, her heart was very hurt. Luna didn't know what to do, she really missed her lover who was in Seoul City. Luna's love for Robert is much greater than the love and affection for Luna's parents.
Arthur hurriedly took Jessica to his luxury sedan which was parked outside the airport, a moment later the Wijaya family guards who had been standing in the airport's main parking lot approached Luna. They were ordered by Arthur to bring Luna back to Arthur's mansion.
Three men with big stature, burly, frightening looks, wearing sunglasses and green uniforms immediately dragged Luna violently, so that Luna screamed and struggled for them to let her go.
"Guards, let me go!" shouted Luna in revolt.
"Shut up, Miss!" snapped one of the guards.
"Let me go!"
"Tell him to shut up, Alvin!" another guard said to his friend.
Luna wanted to cry as loud as she could, she was very sad and disappointed. Luna's parents never gave her a chance in choosing a life partner, everything was arranged by them. Luna's life is like a doll that can be controlled at any time as well as they like.
She is a woman who is cheerful, passionate, always positive thinking, friendly, kind, also confident. What people see around Luna only looks outward, but behind it Luna is so fragile.
