I Have Something To Say

When Chen Fang arrived at the dorm five hours later, unexpected people could be seen waiting for him.

Qin Li, who had become increasingly dissatisfied with his gangster friends, finally remembered that last night's incident was serious. That it could be reported.

Truth be told, this petty second-gen rich avoided involving the police since he had a feud with them. The reason being that he was known for being close to underworld forces and had evaded several mild cases with them. As a result, he was not liked by the ones from the nearest police stations.

But the bruises and wounds both served as a reminder and proof. This time, Qin Li was a victim. No matter how hated he was, the cops would have no choice but process his case and arrest the audacious bastard that almost ruined his handsome face.

With this in mind, Qin Li finally phoned the police station.

That was how this situation occurred. Qin Li, his girlfriend, and two serious-looking police officers were waiting near the gate.

"I got beaten up for no reason at all! He's the offender!" Qin Li gnashed his teeth, looking so angry as he pointed a finger at Chen Fang. "Go, arrest him! If you want evidence, Blue Pearl Hotel definitely has the footage supporting my claim!"

Long Longing stood next to her boyfriend, nodding. Even though she was standing sideways, she seemed to have not seen the displeased expressions of the policemen when Qin Li spoke to them like he was their superior.

She said, "As one of the witnesses, I can attest that everything my boyfriend said is true."

After saying these words, she silently stared at her ex, waiting to see his reaction.

At that time, Chen Fang was deep into contemplation to notice her stares.

He was busy remembering if onetime violence outside school could be grounds for expulsion. That was until he realized it was pointless. He remembered that even the smallest offense could actually be magnified several times when pursued by somebody with money. If the cops detained him, even for half a minute, the university would have something to use against him. He became worried and regretted his previous deeds.

Yet after looking at the ugly swelling of his enemy's face, he suddenly thought he should actually not feel any remorse.

'What regret? He deserves it!'

'That is nothing compared to what he put me through!'

Now, he only regretted not doing it in a place where the other would not be able to get anything to use against him.

His train of thoughts ended when a stern-looking policeman approached him. The look in the person's eyes was truly intimidating.

"Are you Student Chen Fang?"

"I am." When he replied, he met the other party in the eyes. The policeman nodded.

"Mr. Chen, you have been reported by Mr. Qin for the act of violence you have committed against him."

A frosty expression appeared on Chen Fang's face.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see his roommates and other acquaintances who seemed to have been alarmed by the arrival of the police in their university. Some threw him anxious glances, others curious about the commotion. It was the weekend, but no matter how few the people here were, it was not good news for him since news could travel fast.

'Qin Lin is either an idiot to think extremely late about reporting me, or extremely insidious for only inviting the cops when we're on campus.'

"Officer…" Honestly, he had nothing else to say since the accusation was true.

Chen Fang looked at Qin Lin again wearing a hostile expression. If Long Lingqing did not speak, he would have not turned to her.

"Chen Fang. Don't make it hard for everybody here. I'm sorry, but even if I considered our past relationship, you're clearly the wrong one this time. I can't condone you for what you did, even if it's just out of impulse or jealousy."

'Jealousy?'

Chen Fang momentarily fell into a daze, feeling like he just heard one of the most ridiculous things in the world. A moment later, he snorted in disdain. "You're thinking too highly of yourself, Miss Long."

Shaking her head as if she was not buying his poor denial.

Next to her, Qin Li made the same disdainful expression. The man's pride got uplifted upon thinking that he obtained the girl wanted by Chen Fang. He had proven that the indifference shown two days ago was fake. Now that the police would not have a choice but to arrest the person, he felt happier.

"Less talk. Officers, just drag him to the station!" said Qin Li.

The older policeman frowned again, glaring at the discourteous guy. When he spoke, he phrased the request in a better wording as he looked at Chen Fang. "Since you seem aware of what Mr. Qin is talking about, please come with us to the police station for a brief talk."

"Okay." Chen Fang's face was grim. But he nodded.

However, when one of the blue-uniformed officers grabbed his arm, Chen Fang suddenly thought of something and raised his other hand, "On second thought, actually, there is something I need to say."
