That's Really Her

"Hmmm…" I muttered softly as I took a step forward, then I grabbed her shoulders firmly and turned her face up towards me.

She looked startled by my sudden action, but soon enough her eyes widen when she saw me looking into her eyes intensely.

I can tell that she knows what I intend to do next. Her expression changed dramatically as her lips parted slightly. As she tried to speak but nothing came forth from her mouth.

What a sight she is. I can't seem to tear away my gaze from her lovely features. It seems like I can stare at her forever.

Then I slowly leaned closer to her and whispered, "Are you really Ellyn?" I asked her in a low tone.

Her cheeks reddened as she nodded her head vigorously. That caused me to smile widely and hug her tightly against my chest.

"Wow, I never expected that you're actually Ellyn… You are much prettier than how I remembered you to be..." My words sounded more like a confession rather than a compliment.
