This time Joe was on the defense. The bandits rushed towards him with clear bloodlust aura around them.

"Run away! They wont go easy on you!" Joe heard a femine scream, it was the fox girl, she was somehow still standing on her feet.

Joe did not mind anything, from the level of bloodlust these bandits let out he knew that he could beat them.

"You are mine!" One of the bandits shouted and jumped towards

Joe calmly took out his sword and parried the incoming attack. The parry messed up the bandits posture.

Joe unleashed two strong slashes that made a X on the bandits torso. the bandit feel to ground without life on his eyes.

"How dare you?!" The other bandits yelled.

This time two bandits were rushing towards Joe.

[Dagger throw]

Joe widened his eyes when he saw the bandit throwing his dagger with a weird aura surrounding it. His instincts yelled at him to dodge the dagger.

Joe simply jumped out of the way, the dagger hit a tree behind Joe that suddenly shattered to pieces.

"Since when can trees go down that way?" Joe was amused by this bandit's skill. "So I am not the only one who can use weird skills. Good to know."

Joe grinned and dashed towards, it was his turn to attack.

[Lunge]

The purple aura surrounded Joe's sword, his body dashed towards by itself with great force.

Joe's skill pierced through the bandit standing on its way.

The fox girl watching him one shot a bandit was shocked, not only her. The bandits were shocked by him as well. They did not take him seriously but Joe has already taken down 2 of them.

"2 down, 3 more to go." Joe took out his sword from the body of dead bandit.

He dashed towards again but this time it was actually a challenge.

But his skill was blocked, Joe widened his eyes. It was the same bandit that threw that strong as fuck dagger.

Joe jumped back a few meters creating a distance between himself and the bandit.

"So you are the leader in here?" Joe could tell that by the bandit's calm actions and skills.

"Shut up and die kid."

Suddenly the bandit vanished, he was not in Joe's field of view.

Joe felt a cold presence on his back, but it was too late. The bandit somehow teleported behind Joe and was about to land the killing blow to his neck.

[Assassin Elimination] (My dog Peter comes up with the names.)

But the bandit widened his eyes in shock when he couldn't cut through Joe's neck.

"What?!"

"My ability lets me control the flow of anything, that includes humans." The bandit looked to his right and saw the fox girl.

"So you were a mage?!" But he did not live that long, Joe saw this perfect opportunity and cut the bandit's throat while he could not move.

The other bandits were shocked, their leader was killed that easily. They had at least 6 level difference with their bosses. Now they wouldn't stand a chance against those two.

All of them turned around and started running for their lives.

But Joe was not planning on letting them escape in the first place.

Cleaning his sword Joe turned around and looked at the system.

Joe wanted to check out his rewards and stats even more but his mind was still on the fox girl.

He came rushing towards her, she looked paler than anything with no energy left.

"You saved me so I will save you in return. Or nah I saved you 2 times." Joe scoffed, he did not care about merits he just did not want her to die.

Joe got her on his back and then started walking around aimlessly, trying to find a safe place to make a camp at.

After walking for a while he found a cave and without thinking twice he got in there.

It was slowly starting to rain aswell so this was the perfect place.

Joe started a fire and put the fox girl next to it to rest.

And then he took out the monster meats he had in his inventory and started cooking them.

"No seasonings, better than nothing I guess."

After a while the meat was ready and he started eating. And at that time the fox girl woke up aswell.

"What the- What happened?" She had no energy, she wanted to stab Joe and run away but she could not even stand up.

"Oi, Oi take it easy. You were almost dead." Joe took a stick with meat on it and gave it to the fox girl.

"Here, eat up. You need energy don't you."

Fox girl took the stick, at first she was hesitant to eat something a stranger gave to her but after seeing that Joe could not care about a single thing happening around him she dove into the food.

"Yummy!" She said after taking a few bites. "My cooking is not the best I guess its not raw." Joe patted his belly.

After eating, the girl cleaned herself up and sat down in front of Joe. The only thing between them was the campfire.

After a few minutes of silence she gave Joe a question.

"Are you a adventurer?" Joe shook his head. "Nope, I am new around here."

Fox girl widened her eyes, "You are not a adventurer but you are this skilled? You must be from a noble family or something."

And once again Joe shook his head, "Nope, I am just a wandering dude who happened to be lost."

"What is your level?" The girl asked, it was a normal question in this world but it shocked Joe.

'What part of the novel is this!? I thought only the main character had the fucking system!'

"Level?" Joe asked, "Yeah, in your status screen."

Now Joe was sure that she had a system as well.

"Mine is 7, yours?" "Ten" The girl said. "You are not bad for a newbie.

"How can you tell that I am a newbie? I am a god!" pfft* "Yea right."

With that joke Joe easily changed the subject. They had a chat that lasted a few hours.

The fox girls name is Zoey, she is from a clan that specializes in telekinesis and body control. She also talked about how magic in this world was a little weird and stuff.

"It is so weird." hm? Joe replied.

"Your system does not say anything about your hometown, you don't have a name and you don't know most of the things about this world."

Joe was caught off guard with that sentence, he was happy that she was telling everything to him without wanting anything in exchange but.

"Ahaha, I just woke up in the middle of this forest today, and I was level one. I think I hit my head and lost some of my memories."

Joe shook of everything, "Why don't you sleep? You are still drugged aren't you?"

Not even a second passed and she was sleeping next to the fire. "How the fuck can someone trust a person they have just met?!" He sighed and threw a rabbit leather over Zoey to keep her warm.
