No regrets at face of death!

Raphael could not help but flinch as she tried to cover the wound in her stomach.

She was wearing white robes that had been shredded in many places and were already red due to blood.

The bloody robes waved lightly in the mountain breeze like a war flag.

She looked around and realized that most of her 'enemies' and 'allies' were dead. The body on the ground was distorted due to some unknown chemical reactions. Her own body was also melting.

Her average-looking face did not have even a single emotion as she looked at the bodies.

It was a forgone conclusion that she would die here.

Raphael understood her situation clearly, but even in the face of death, her expression did not change; it was calm and collected.

Her gaze was quiet, her eyes like deep pools of water in a well, so deep that there seemed to be no end.

She has accepted death and was no stranger to pain.

She sighed, and the memories buried in her old heart started to surface.

She started to go on with all the possibilities.

Even though the plan could be considered foolproof and was practical, it still failed. I can't move or else... The possibility of finding the right antidote in this desolate land is near zero.

She could not help but smile dryly. Humans were pitiful creatures.

It's (humans) life is no more than a short dream.

While others follow the law of nature(strong will eat the weak), humans are simple as that. Death, love,hate... A lot of things are affecting the situation.

Humans do not follow the law of nature! Strong eat the weak?

What is strong and what is weak? In this world, there are no such people.

What exists are shameless or dumb people.

Sometimes dumb people can become shameless, and sometimes shameless people can become dumb.

As the saying goes, Humans propose and heavens reject.

She looked at the setting sun and laughed. She should stay still, but who wants to live like that? On mercy of others?

Raphael?

She never trusted fate, destiny, or anyone other than herself. Only her own power and capabilities can win you out of this situation.

It's not that she does not believe in God, No-But she respectfully declines his offer.

Moving to the abandoned base behind her, she narrated in her heart.

'Looking at the vastness of heaven,

Pondering at the mysteries of universe,

Even at death door not regretting a single sin,

whether you succeed or fail when you look back there's nothing left.'
