"How dramatic." He shrugs.
"Is what people say, but no matter how it was done it is true that the outcome was the same. What is important to know is that the past has a way of affecting this place even now, above all else… humans tend to forget with their short lives, but most demons… most demons feed on hate and anger, and what better then the memories of past disagreements to fuel that."
So what he is saying is that the past reflects here far more than for humans, and mostly because instead of being something that happened to our grandparents and has been forgotten throughout generations, it actually happened with very still alive demons uhm… the same ones that hold a grudge with past wars and events.
