Yamcha the Desert Bandit

Oolong tried to escape several times but between Goku's physical abilities, Tora knowing how'd he'd try to escape thanks to his knowledge of Dragon Ball, and Bulma ultimately tricking Oolong into eating something she called PP candy he never had a chance of getting away. Any time anyone said the word 'piggy' Oolong would get stomach cramps followed by diarrhea, the PP candy would last a month ensuring Oolong's loyalty until they finished this first adventure for the Dragon Balls.

Unfortunately, for Bulma, she had lost her Capsules during one of Oolong's escape attempts. Tora didn't prevent this knowing that not having her Capsules was an important part of the story going forward. Tora also had to help Bulma convince Goku that the effects of the PP candy was not a curse she put on Oolong as a witch. Oolong, who's strength did not change when he transformed, was unable to carry Bulma's weight to work as a vehicle for her. Tora knew his time limit wouldn't make it very useful even if he could carry Bulma.

They group continued their journey on foot, into the uncharted Diablo Desert. Goku and Tora didn't ride the Flying Nimbus for comraderies sake, but after a few hours in the desert Goku got frustrated at how slow Bulma and Oolong has gotten.

Bulma sat down on the ground "I can't stand it! I'm going crazy!" "Are you giving up?" asked Goku. "No! Yes.. maybe? I don't know! I want a bath! I need air-conditioning! I don't want to be stranded in the desert without a boyfriend of my capsules anymore!" As she whined she slid on her back under one of the strange rock formations of the Diablo Desert. "Ahh, shade. Nap-time..." "I say we just let her rest for a while." said Goku. Tora and Oolong both quickly agreed.

Everyone was getting very hungry, no more capsules meant not more easy food. Goku was about to leave to find some food for the group while Tora kept an eye on Oolong and Bulma when Tora heard the sound of an engine approaching "Something's coming." said Tora. Goku tried to see what it was but was unable to see through the sand be blasted up by the vehicle. "What is it?" "It ain't no camel!" said Oolong.

The figure in his bike stopped in front of the group, it was Yamcha and his transforming sidekick Puar. "Greetings. I am Yamcha. I am master of the land you trespass upon." he said stepping off his bike. "It's my land too!" said Puar proudly from behind Yamcha's legs. "You needn't fear me. Just hand over your money and any capsules you may have and I will let you pass in peace."

Oolong wasn't listening, instead he recognized Puar. "You're Puar! We went to shape-shifting academy together." "I remember, and you were a loud-mouthed bully! He always picked on me and stole my lunch money, because I was smaller than him!" said Puar.

"I'd say the tables have turned, my friend. How does it feel to face someone bigger yourself, little piglet?" said Yamcha. "Sounds like you haven't changed much over the years Oolong." said Goku.

Tora was waiting for the inevitable fight between Goku and Yamcha, he desperately wanted to see the first Ki ability shown in Dragon Ball, Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist. While it wasn't an ability that wouldn't be particularly useful to Tora, he was desperate to find someway of sensing or using Ki as fast as possible, and whether Yamcha is aware of it or not his technique uses Ki.

"Okay boys, enough talk. Either hand over your goods or prepare to fight me." Oolong seemed very worried now about what Yamcha might to do him on Puar's behalf "Just how strong are you two?" he asked Goku and Tora. "We're super strong." said Goku. Oolong immediately picked a fight with Yamcha. "All right, big shot! The bigger you are the harder you fall! You may think you're looking at an easy haul here, but my men will slap you two silly before it's all said and done!"

Yamcha pulled out his sword and said "Prepare to defend yourself." "Make pork chops out of him, Yamcha! He can't talk to you like that!" yelled Puar. Oolong hid behind one of the rock formations "Okay, destroy him little buddies!"

"Why does Oolong want us to destroy this guy?" asked Goku. "Because he's trying to rob us, and by taking out his sword he's pretty much saying he's going to kill us if we don't give him what he wants." said Tora. "Okay but which one of us fights him?" Tora thought of how Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan would decide such a thing many years from now. "Rock, paper, scissors?"

Just as they were about to begin their rock, paper, scissors game Yamcha interrupted them, irritated at the situation. "These dumb kids looking down at me, I can take you both out! YEEAA!" Yamcha threw his scabbard high into the air. Goku stared straight up at it taking his eye off of his opponent, and Yamcha began to run at them.

Tora knew this would be a perfect moment for a Tiger Strike but he couldn't take Yamcha out until he saw his Wolf Fang's Fist. Yamcha was getting ready to swing at Goku when Tora shouted "Goku, focus!" Goku's eyes snapped down to the desert bandit in front of him. Tora and Goku jumped to opposite sides to dodge Yamcha's sword swipe. Yamcha chased after Goku, who he seemed to think would be the easier of the two to attack next and tried to swing at him when he landed but Goku managed to dodge in time jumping into the air again.

This time he brought out his Power Pole and swung it down at Yamcha who blocked the heavy blow with his blade. While he was blocking Goku's attack Tora ran up and punched Yamcha in his ribs sending sliding him fifteen feet away. "Power Pole extend!" Goku extended his weapon and hit Yamcha who was getting up knocking him even further back.

Yamcha stood up, his midsection was hurt but he was far from done, more than anyone Tora had fought so far in his life Yamcha was the strongest. "You two have great power for little ones, don't you?
