Kame House

Goku and Pansy took turns telling him what happened from their points of view. How Tora's enhanced Kamehameha wave had destroyed most of the castle and killed King Gurumes, his body slamming into the ground hundreds of feet below.

When the soldiers realized the king was dead and their generals defeated they dropped their weapons and scattered across the land. At some point during the celebration from the villagers Bongo and Pasta managed to escape, no one is sure where they went.

"Well that's not good... who knows where they'll turn up." Tora thought.

After Tora passed out Goku carried him back to Pansy's home and another villager offered a set of her sons old clothes since Tora's has been torn up by his power up. Only now Tora had realized he was wearing different clothes, a simple white tank top with dark blue pants.

"How long was I asleep for?" Tora thought to ask.

"All afternoon and night, it's noon now!" said Pansy. Before Tora could say anything else his stomach loudly rumbled. Pansy giggled and offered Goku and Tora lunch with her family, Kings Gurumes' castle had been pillaged by the villagers giving them plenty of food to spare now.

After a quick meal, in which Goku and Tora seemed to slightly disturb Pansy's family with how much food that ate so quickly, Tora told them. "King Gurumes is gone but the damage to your land is still done and the blood rubies are still here. It's possible Bongo or Pasta could come back too. But we have a way to help, if you guys can defend your home for a year we'll be able to heal your land for you."

"Truly?!" Asked an excited Pansy. Tora and Goku both nodded at the same time.

Tora turned to her father. "You're the strongest person here you'll need to be a leader and be proactive about defending your home. We're counting on you to make sure there's a land to heal in a year." He said.

Pansy's father nodded sternly. "I'll do what we have to for our home." "Not much of a talker, is he?" Tora thought to himself.

Goku finished an extra bowl of food he grabbed and put the bowl down on the table while patting his stomach. "The food was so good, thank you!" He said with a smile. "We have to get going to Master Roshi's now but it was nice meeting you guys!" Tora nodded in agreement with Goku's words and they both got up and grabbed their things.

The whole village came out of their homes to wave at Tora and Goku as they flew away on the Flying Nimbus. Goku waved back while Tora thought about his next problem.

"I have no idea what the next movie is about..." Tora thought to himself. He had never seen the movie in his life and had little knowledge of it. "I know princess is in the name... and there is a magic jewel of sorts... god dammit." Tora was very stressed.

He didn't even know when it took place only that the events of the movie happened in Dragon Ball before Z. Tora didn't know the stakes of the movie, would the world end if the villain wasn't foiled? Would Goku or Tora even be around for whatever alerted the heroes to the problem if the series and the movie had them at different places at the same time?

"Tora!" Goku's voice snapped Tora back to reality. "Are you okay? You zoned out the whole trip, I think we're here!"

Tora looked down to see a tiny island with a distinct pink house with a red roof on it, written on the house itself in red letters was 'Kame House'. They flew down below and landed on the island.

"Hello! Master Roshi! I'm here!" Goku yelled out. Master Roshi didn't respond. Tora noticed a row boat on the island. "Master Roshi never had a boat..." Tora thought to himself. "What's going on?"

"Hey, where is he?" Goku looked around the tiny island before going up to the house with Tora. They heard the sounds of a aerobic workout video playing inside. "No wonder he wasn't answering... Let's head in Goku." Tora and Goku both hopped in through the open window.

"Hello!" Goku happily greeted Roshi who still hadn't noticed them. Instead Roshi spoke out loud to himself. "Ahh, aerobics... A gift from the heavens!" "Master Roshi? Hello?" Tora couldn't get his attention either. Goku and Tora both looked at each other and smiled both going to either side of Roshi.

"HEY MASTER ROOOOOSHI!" They both shouted into his ears at the same time before they both started laughing. Master Roshi fell back for a second holding his ears before looking at the two boys. "Oh, Goku and Tora! It's you two." said the hermit. "We're here for training." said Goku with a smile on his face.

"Now, hold on! I'm doing my morning workout!" said Roshi not taking his eyes off the television. "One-two. One-two. Feel the burn ladies!" Goku and Tora couldn't tear him away from the video and had to wait ten minutes before the program finally ended. "Good one!" was all Roshi said when the video ended.

"Now why are you two here?" asked Master Roshi. "You said you'd teach us martial arts, remember?" said Goku. Tora had been distracted by his bitterness towards his father during the actual conversation at Fire Mountain but Goku assured him that Roshi had offered to train Tora as well.

"Oh, lessons... How pleasant..." said Roshi who clearly didn't want to put the work in. "Did you bring that girl?" He asked looking around. "Bulma went back to the city with our friends" said Tora. "Well you two should know martial arts is no Sunday picnic." said the disappointed old man.

"I know I'll have to work hard to get stronger than you!" said Goku. Roshi chuckled "Really, kid. You could learn some manners. Like the kid upstairs, he even brought me a gift when he asked me to teach him." "What kid?" Tora asked.

"Master Roshi I finished cleaning upstairs!" coming down from the stairs wearing yellow temple robes was a small bald child, unmistakably Krillin.
