I Will Live Well(2)

After breakfast, Lu Sichen drove Li Ran to school before going off to work.

That's right, Li Ran was still a student right now. After all, he is only 20 years old right now. Because Li Ran had skipped some grades in high school , she was now in her last year of college.

She was studying Acting at the prestigious University M. Sometimes, Li Ran really wanted to know why she gave up her good life to cater to two dogs! She did not think that there is anyone who is as stupid as she was!

"Bye Sichen!" Li Ran said and got out of the car. She walked hurriedly to school, like she was trying to avoid Lu Sichen. Even though she had already decided that she is going to live a good life with him this time, she was still a little bit scared of the man .

In the ten years of thier Marriage, she had seen the ruthlessness of this man in person when he was dealing with rivals. It seemed that he reserved all of the gentleness that he had in him for her. He has always been vicious and cruel to people. It wasn't a secret that he was feared in the business world.

Li Ran really did not know what this man saw in her that he will love her so much that he's even ready to die for her! What's so good about her anyway?

She walked into the school. She finally slowed down when she was away from the car. She did not know that Lu Sichen was watching her right now.

Lu Sichen stayed in the car as he watched his wife walk happily into school. He really wanted to know what happened to his wife that she changed over night. The truth was that he has been holding back his curiosity all morning. He really wanted to know what happened to her that made her change so much but he could not being himself to ask.

He shook his head before driving the car away. Anyway the both of them have a lifetime to spend with each other. He will surely find out what's going on with her!

Li Ran who was walking happily to her class heard a loud cheerful voice call behind her. "Ran ran!" The person shouted.

Li Ran knew immediately who it was. Her eyes turned red when she thought about her best friend.

She had lived so foolishly in her past life that she had cut off all the important people in her life just so that she can be nice to dogs! Because of her own foolishness, she and her best friend Sun Mei Mei had ended up going thier seperate ways after graduating.

Li Ran was really grateful that she had gotten a second chance to relive her life. Besides being taking revenge on Lu Beichen and Li An, she will also make it up to all of the people that she had wronged in her life!

And on top of the list is her best friend Sun Mei Mei.

"Mei Mei" Li Ran called out.

Sun Mei Mei walked over to Li Ran. Before she could say anything, Li Ran hugged her tightly. She just wanted to hug her best friend close now. How could she have been so dumb in the past? Did those people cast some kind of dumb spell on her?

"Ran Ran...what happened to you? Why are you hugging me so tightly? Did your husband bully you?" Sun Mei Mei asked. She knew that Li Ran's family had recently gotten her married to Lu Sichen, the owner of the big and mighty Lu Group. Even though she did not understand why Li Ran hated such a fine man so much, she still respected her friend's decision. In fact she had started to develop a hate for Lu Sichen too. Anyone that forces her best friend isn't a good person.

"Sorry...I just want to tell you that I'm sorry" Li Ran said. She is sorry. She is sorry for being an idoit! She is sorry for destroying thier friendship she is sorry for all the stupid things that she had done!

Seeing her friend like this, Sun Mei Mei was convinced that she had been bullied. She just wanted to go to Lu Sichen to teach him a lesson!

*Cough cough...even though she won't be able to get close to him at all, she can still curse him right?

"Li Ran, tell me the truth, did your husband bully you? You don't have to hide it from me. If he dares to do anything to my best friend, I'll be the first person to teach him a lesson!" Sun Mei Mei said.

Li Ran smiled happily . She is still lucky. Lucky that she can come back to this point in her life.

"No...he did not bully me at all!" Li Ran said. She wondered what Sun Mei Mei's reaction will be if she finds out that she is the one who bullied the man for ten years straight!

"You....you don't have to lie to me! If he doesn't treat you well you can tell me about it! Well, even though I can't do anything to him.....I'll curse him with you!" Sun Mei Mei declared.

Li Ran let go of Sun Mei Mei immediately. She looked at the serious look on Sun Mei Mei's face and her mouth twitched. She will help her curse Lu Sichen since she can't do anything to him?

Yes, she really is her best friend Sun Mei Mei!

"No...no he really did not do anything to me" Li Ran said hurriedly. She did not want Sun Mei Mei to continue to get the wrong idea of her husband at all!

"Well, Actually, Lu Sichen isn't all that bad. He treats me really well. I think that the both of us can actually become a real couple. It isn't a bad thing to be married to him!" Li Ran said happily.

Sun Mei Mei looked at her friend wide eyed it seemed as if Li Ran has finally opened her eyes to see the world around her! Lu Sichen is such a good person! Why won't she like him? The both it them should be together!

"Ran Ran! It's a good thing that you've finally thought things through! You have such a wonderful husband! Why won't you want to be with him? He's handsome and he's rich. He is the perfect match for you!" Sun Mei Mei said happily.

Li Ran "...."

She was specheless. Is this her best friend who promised to help her curse at Lu Sichen? Why did he become a good person so soon?

Sun Mei Mei acted as if she could not see how suprised her friend is. She continued to talk.

"You really don't know how many women like Lu Sichen! He's so handsome and rich! He's only thirty and yet he's already in charge of the entire Lu Cooperation. No one else can compare to him! And he doesn't have any scandal with women at all! He stays away from women! He really is the perfect CEO hubby! You must have been blind to hate him in the past Ran Ran!" Sun Mei Mei said.

Li Ran's mouth twitched. What does the perfect CEO hubby mean?

Anyway, she is right about one thing. She was blind in the past. she won't have fallen for a jerk and ruined her life and the life of the people around her if she wasn't blind!

"Yes yes I agree with you. He's so great and I'm blind. From now on , I'm going to live well. He's my hubby now anyway. Don't worry, I'll live a good life!" Li Ran said. This wasn't just a promise to Mei Mei. It was a promise to herself. She has to live a good life!

Sun Mei Mei nodded her head. It's a good thing her blind friend has finally been englightened this time.

"What about Lu Beichen?" Sun Mei Mei asked. She really hated that guy Lu Beichen. He just give her the creeps!

Li Ran frowned when she heard that name. He ruined her life, she will be an idoit if she doesn't pay him back.! However, there is nothing that she can do to him right now! She isn't strong enough to fîght against such a scheming man yet . The only thing that she can do for now is to break up with him and stay far far away from him for now.

"Of course I'm going to break up with him! He's not ad good as my hubby Lu Sichen! Besides, I'm already married. I'm not a loose woman and I won't keep a boy toy outside!" Li Ran said.

Sun Mei Mei burst out laughing when she heard the de description. She had to admit that the word "boy toy" really did fit Lu Beichen perfectly!

He is a jerk after all!
