A date...

(A/N: Yup at the fking start. I'm never writing a date chapter ever again, nah, nuh uh. I'm done with this cringeness💀)

"What do you think?" Naruto asked Luna as he observed himself in the mirror. He was attired in a black shirt, black pant and orange jacket with the sleeves folded. He really didn't need to dress up, considering his looks, that was like that of some Greek gods, he would look good in anything.

But it was his first time going on a date, not in this life only but the previous life too. He was an orphan so he himself had to work hard to earn money. He barely had any time to interact with girls and also the fact that he wasn't much interested in dating.

[You look good in anything, why are you even nervous? haha]

Luna chuckled, it was funny considering the fact that they slept everyday together, hugging each other tightly. Although they both were embarrassed and flustered at first, but later on they got used to it. The warmth they got from each other, the sense of protection, security and love was just too addicting.

Naruto scratched his cheek with a complicated smile plastered on his face. 

He had some complicated feelings regarding Sakura. She hated the old Naruto before, not giving him any attention and going as far as to punch him. But the thing was, although he got Naruto's memories, he didn't get any feelings or emotions from it. Maybe it was because it wasn't too much relatable to him, he didn't even felt a ting of sadness for Naruto.

'Why would you even run after someone that hates you?' That was a question that always lingered in his mind whenever he reviewed those memories.

But since he took over this body and changed completely, Sakura's attitude changed completely, going as far as to invite him on a date, 'and they say looks doesn't matter....though his personality wasn't really likeable...'

Sigh...

Dismissing all the useless thoughts he walked toward the door. He just decided to leave everything for later, moreover there was no point in wandering in the events of the past; 

....

I moved quickly toward the place where we decided to meet up yesterday. The sun was starting to rise, the yellowish rays spreading through the village made it look like a scenery out of a canvas. It was serene yet beautiful. 

Just as I reached the place, I could see Sakura facing toward opposite direction of me.

"Boo!" I whispered in her ears as I sneaked up behind her.

"Ahhh!" Sakura jumped in surprise swiftly turning around just to be surprised again.

"N-naruto! " Her eyes fluttered wide as she looked at me, the surprised expression slowly curled into a sweet gentle smile.

"You look beautiful..." I returned the smile as I praised her, although I wasn't really lying. She was wearing a red outer with white top and black skirt with leggings hiding her supple thighs. Her hair was tied in ponytail while two bangs were hanging on either side of her face. 

"T-thank you, you look good too" She said shyly. Although she felt that there wasn't really any need to say that, all the girls around them couldn't help but sneak a look at Naruto.

"Let's go, then." I intertwined her fingers with mine, which enticed a surprised expression from her, but she meekly nodded her head and walked by my side.

First of all, we decided to go to a restaurant as none of us had eaten anything, not even the breakfast.

We walked into a less crowded restaurant as I didn't want to be surrounded while eating.

The place was clean and elegant, but for some reason, I couldn't sense anyone except a single person inside. 

I opened the door as we walked inside. There was an old lady sitting at the counter looking at a large book, maybe she was managing the records or something. Noticing us entering the place, she turned toward us,

"Oh my, what a cute couple..." She said with a gentle smile, "But the restaurant is closed you know." She tilted her head slightly.

Sakura's face was fully red when she heard the old lady call them couple. She peeked at Naruto secretly to check his reaction, but her heart started beating wildly seeing that he just had his usual playful smile on his face, 'hehehehe, he didn't deny it, he didn't deny it, he didn't deny it...' 

That was the only thing that was echoing through her mind at that moment. She was a total goner...

The lady and I both chuckled looking at her, "There wasn't any sign that said closed outside, so we entered..."

"Huh? there isn't ?" The old lady was surprised. She looked outside and found that it was true. "Maybe some kid had stolen it as a prank..." She mumbled in a low voice. There wasn't any other reason for why one would take a board that said nothing but 'closed' in it.

"I see..." I looked around and saw the kitchen. The ingredients for cooking were there but looks like the chef is missing. 

"Say, how about I cook? We'll pay for it. It'll be lame to return now..." I asked curiously. I cooked once I arrived here and it tasted better than any food I had eaten since I got here, so I was confident in my cooking.

"You can cook? Really?" She was astonished, she couldn't believe that such a young boy could cook by himself. His looks, that were like that of some kind of prince wasn't really helping much. 

"pretty much, yes." 

"I see, go ahead then." She smiled. She wouldn't deny that she herself was excited to see how he would cook, so she readily accepted.

"I- I'll help you" Sakura didn't know how to cook but she could help in preparation. She used to help her mother to cook, sometimes. And she didn't want to just sit and do nothing while Naruto cooked.

'Kyaaaa! th-this feels like we are m-married!' 

Or maybe she was just lost in her own world...

....

"I didn't know you could cook so good!" Sakura said excitedly, as they walked out of the restaurant. Although it was a simple dish of chicken and rice, Naruto really made it taste otherworldly. She just wanted to keeping eating his cooking but they had a date pending.

After the dinner they moved toward the clothing store, which was Sakura's idea. Apparently she wanted to buy some clothes for him and Naruto just went with the flow.

"I'll find something for you!" Saying that she ran into the store searching for clothes for him.

'welp...I guess I'll find something for her too...' though I have no idea what I'm going to find...

....

And the whole day was spent like that. We walked around the park, went fishing and I cooked the same fish for the lunch. Overall it was a pretty fun day. 

We were walking toward Sakura's house side by side, holding hands. 

Eventually we reached at Sakura's house. 

But just as I was going to speak, she turned around and hugged me swiftly. 

"Did you have fun today?" She asked anxiously without lifting her face from Naruto's chest. This was the best day in her life, eating Naruto's cooking, buying him clothes, fishing together, walking in the park, they did a whole lot of things. He even gave her a gift. Although they didn't do anything grand, the simple things when done with the person you love becomes fun itself.

'I missed all this because I was an idiot...' she thought wryly as she listened to Naruto's heart beating loudly, it's rhythm was slowly calming her anxiousness.

Her eyes widened as she felt a gentle caress in her head. A smile graced her lips and she closed her eyes simply enjoying it.

"I really enjoyed it, maybe we should do this again. What do you think?" Naruto questioned as he continued patting her.

"Mhm.." She nodded subtly, her eyes became moist. She couldn't be more happy. Just those words were enough to reignite her feelings.

Naruto pulled her from the hug and planted a small kiss on her forehead, "good night~"

"G-good night!!" She answered stutteringly with a flabbergasted face, as she hurriedly ran into her house while hiding her face.

"How cute...." Naruto mumbled to himself but the smile was slowly disappearing from his face, replaced by an irritated look.

He turned around looking at the empty streets, there was nothing.

"Enjoyed the show motherfuckers?" He growled in an annoyed tone.

Out of nowhere, two shinobi appeared. Clad in black clothes and the classic mask which was worn by the anbu.

"Naruto Uzumaki...you have been ordered to come with us..." One of them spoke in hoarse tone. 

'Ordered? Looks like some idiots are forgetting their place...fucking danzo's dogs...' Naruto muttered inwardly.

"Lead the way..." 

The two anbu nodded and Naruto followed them.

(A/N: .....Yeah yeah I know it was cringe. FUCK, GODDAMIT I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD STRUGGLE SO MUCH TO WRITE A DATE CHAPTER.!!!

Anyways, I dropped the chapter today cuz my test was shifted...

Also many people are saying that things don't match with canon or something.....so this is an AU from now on looool, just kidding. The thing is I watched naruto long ago and I forgot everything...

I really shouldn't have had so much cocai-....*ahem* coke....

SO yeah sorry for the inconvenience, disappointment or whatever I have caused you lot...but I'll try to improve in the future....
