Founding an Overpowered Empire in a medieval World

Zeddicus and Astravos were sitting by a nearby tree, gathering information about the new world they were in. From what they new so far, it was an extremely large world, being over 9 times as big as the earth. It also didn't have any different race but Humans, which surprised Zeddicus. He remembered that the fantasy worlds in the novels he read had several types of races, and sub-races of those races. But it seems that he has been transported in a world without any of those things.

Zaphara came up to them.

"Father, I've also found new info on the type of fashion that is normal for them to wear. 1800's America fashion seems to be the thing that is fashionable here. I hope not, I really don't want to have to wear a corset..." Zaphara complained.

"If you're having problems with such a thing, I would just make you a custom corset for you to be comfortable in. The real question is, why do they have 1800's fashion in a medieval world? Shouldn't they be wearing robes or something...?" Questioned Zeddicus while standing up.

"That's the thing, father. So many different things about this world doesn't mix up. Normally, medieval soldiers would be fighting with shields and swords, right? But what I have found shows that most of the population carry revolvers and muskets..." Zaphara said while scratching her head.

"That can't be right." Zeddicus replied. This world really was mysterious, but he didn't let that cloud his mind.

"The only thing you could really say is medieval in a sense is how there is practically no democratic nations, empires, kingdoms, or republics to be found." Said Zaphara caressing her temples.

"So what you're trying to say is..." Zeddicus asked in realization

"We've been..." Astravos added.

"Scammed. Yes, father." Zaphara finished.

Zeddicus let out a groan he wasn't even aware he was holding, this situation was simply too troublesome. Although, he didn't forget that he had no establishment in this world, just knowledge. He brought his hands to his chin in a thinking pose. 'I guess we could find an empty plot of land somewhere and start our empire from there.'

Zeddicus looked toward Astravos. "We should find a plot of land and start our empire right there. There would be no need to worry about population since I can easily just make the population out of nothing, with the power of creation and all."

Astravos nodded. "Yes, and with that, we could establish ourselves as a major power in this world. That way, we can live in true peace. A peace where nobody is attacked simply for existing. I heard back in your earth, people were shunned due to the color of their skin. Isn't that right, father?"

"Sadly so."

Zeddicus found a barren land with greenery, so he quickly summoned his castle. He made the castle at least 32 stories tall, and had the royal emblem of his choice engraved onto the walls of his castle. He then tasked Zaphara and Astravos to further build the kingdoms borders and housing. After about 45 minutes of work, it was all finished.

"Okay, now that we've established our base, let us look around and see what kind of resources there are in this world," Zeddicus said to his two children.

They headed toward the forest nearby, and found that it was full of plants, but no animals whatsoever. They decided to go inside the forest and search for food and materials, and ended up finding some wild berries growing there.

"Well, these seem edible, we'll take some as souvenirs of course, we can also eat them if we get hungry." Zeddicus commented before handing the basket to Zephyr.

Zephyr nodded and took the basket away from him, taking care not to drop anything. She placed the basket at her back and continued searching the forest.

"There are no animals at all here, we will probably have to hunt them down ourselves, I suppose." Zeddicus mentioned with disappointment in his voice.

"That might not be such a bad idea though. We wouldn't have to pay them taxes like we usually do." Astravos replied with a smile.

Zeddicus smiled as well. "Good point."

After a few hours of walking through the forest, they finally managed to find something worth bringing home. Zephyr picked up a large deer carcass with her left hand, she then proceeded to drag it towards the castle, where the other three members of the family had gathered.

"I got one!" She shouted happily while holding the deer by its neck.

"Wow, that looks good!" Questioned Zephyr, while Zeddicus gave her a nod in response.

"Let's bring that inside and cook it! It's still fresh and has meat on it after all." Zeddicus replied.

He started cutting the dead animal into pieces using his magic, and the three began to clean and butcher the meat. The whole process seemed simple enough, since they had done this before in the past. Once the deer had been completely cleaned out, Zeddicus went and got a pot which had been prepared earlier, along with a cooking stove.

"We're going to need to use magic to heat this up though, this stove isn't exactly made for boiling water," Zephyr said, before getting a look from Zeddicus.

"Ah, well I suppose you're right. What do you think, father?" Astravos asked curiously.

"I agree with Zephyr. If we can't boil the water, then it won't matter if we have fire magic or not."

"Oh, okay..." Astravos said while looking up at the ceiling in thought. "I know! I'll try to use my fire magic to heat up the pot!"

"Wait! Don't just randomly try things in the middle of cooking like that!" Zeddicus warned him.

"Alright, alright! But don't worry! I'll be careful!" Astravos said cheerfully as he began casting his fire magic.

Zeddicus sighed in exasperation before deciding to step in. "Fine, I'll help you."

The three continued to cook the food together while talking with each other.
