Immediately after seeing the result from the stone tablet, both elders from the Celestial Immortal sect looked at each other and immediately approached Gu Chen

"Young man, what is your name?." one of the elder asked as he had a ecstatic expression on his face

Bringing someone with the highest talent would not only bring the sect benefits, it would also bring both elders much merits

"I go by Li chen" Gu Chen replied nonchalantly, as the Celestial Immortal Sect was nothing but a stepping stone for him

"I see, then could you follow me before we head to the sect 's location?" One of the elder asked Gu Chen as he signaled Gu Chen to follow him to a campsite he created in an instant

It should be known that both elders from the Celestial Immortal Sect are venerable level powerhouse, this really proves to show that despite their lack in numbers, they have strength to back up their name as one of the great sects

"Okay" Gu Chen replied as he followed one of the elders, while the other elder continue to test the remaining youngsters from Nanjing city

After another 3 hours of testing, the selection finally ended, and only Gu Chen and another person was selected. However, the other person was not something special as he only awakened a High Tier Earth Grade Talent, barely passing the requirement criteria.

Subsequently, the 2 elder pulled out a teleportation artifact that resembled a blanket, wrapping the artifact around themselves and both disciples, the 4 people immediately disappeared from the spot

Just like Gu Chen's case, elders and selected disciples from the 5 continents appeared in the sky above the mountain like palace

One of the elders that brought Gu Chen spoke "Below is the main stronghold of the Celestial Immortal Sect. Unlike other sects, disciples of the Celestial Immortal sect are not divided into outer or inner disciples. However, there is a ranking for the disciples here and the higher one is in the ranking, the more cultivation resources he/she gets."

Gu Chen nodded at the explanation of the elder and looked around and saw that many elders who returned didn't bring a disciple with them, and most of the elders only brought one disciple.

People with High Tier Earth Grade talent or higher are very rare and are peerless geniuses no matter where they come from. The Celestial Immortal Sect is the sect that gathers those peerless geniuses and makes them compete against one another.

Arriving at a huge building, Gu Chen and the other disciples from around the world entered a huge hall with 12 figures sitting in front of them.

Those 12 figures are the Sect master, vice sect master and the 10 peak masters of the Celestial Immortal sect and each one of them are Saint level powerhouses. Although Gu Chen didn't know the actual cultivation of the 12 experts, he could feel that the aura around the Sect master is only a little bit weaker than his father, who is a 8 rank Saint Expert.

After ordering the new disciples to keep quiet and wait for further instructions, the elders who went to select disciples gave their report to the 12 figures.

Two particular elder are smiling because they just brought in a Peak Tier Heaven Grade gem, and although there were no punishment for not bringing a disciple, the elders who brought gems for the sect would also gain benefits.

The sect master then snapped his finger and a ring appeared in front of all the new disciples

The sect master followed by saying "In front of you is a space ring and your new clothes are placed inside. In the sect, the only way you could make transactions are by contribution points and you could get those points by moving up the rankings and doing sect missions. Apart from your clothes, there is also the general rule book for all disciples to follow, and if you break any of the rules, you will be send over to the disciplinary hall."

"All of you are now at the bottom of the rankings and I hope you can rise up in the rankings, now all of you should go to the Sect's library and claim your cultivation technique. However, the people who following names are called, you guys are to stay here."

"Chu Xuan, Ye Ling, Xu Feng, Chen Hao, and Li Chen" The Sect leader called for these 5 names and all the disciples apart from the 5 left the hall.

Seeing that the rest of disciples have left, the Sect leader spoke once again "The 5 of you might be curious why I ordered you to stay." Seeing that some of the disciple tensed up, the sect leader once again spoke "You don't need to worry, I asked you guys to stay because among the new disciples, you are the genius of geniuses who have Heaven Grade talent. In this sect, those disciples that Heaven grade talent would be nurtured personally by the peak masters, and become a personal disciple. Although being a personal disciple won't increase your ranking, but it comes with many benefit such as more resources and stuff."

(Since there is 10 peak masters, there is bound to be 10 peaks. I have decided to name these peak as the first peak to the tenth Peak for ease)

"Apart from the main peak that belongs to me and the vice sect leader,There are 10 peaks in the Celestial Immortal Sect and they are ranked from 1 to 10 based on the contribution of each peaks. Now, I leave the selection of disciples to the peak master's hand, and if a disciple is selected by more than one peak masters, the disciple will choose which peak he will go to" The Sect Leader turned towards the 10 sitting figures

Time passed by and the 4 disciples found their own peaks.

Chu Xuan went to the fifth peak

Ye Ling went to the second peak

Xu Feng went to the sixth peak

Chen Hao went to the ninth peak

Lastly it was Gu Chen's turn to be selected, and when the sect leader asked, all 10 peak masters showed interest in accepting Gu Chen

This is not a surprising matter as Gu Chen has the highest talent out of everyone here, and seeing that all 10 of the peak masters wanted him as their disciple, Gu Chen just smiled

Just like disciple rankings, peak rankings also determine the resources allocated to each peak, thus each of the peak masters try to convince Gu Chen to join their peaks as having a talented individual like Gu Chen is beneficial to them.

After listening to the words of each peak master, Gu Chen joined the third peak.

Although Peak 3 was not the strongest, it has little to no interaction with the rest of the sect and has the least disciple. This was the optimal place for Gu Chen to spend the next 3 years in peace, before he could complete the next system mission.
