Chapter 83: Revelations!(2)

*Still a year prior*

Fa Ken sneakily entered the sect grounds from a location behind the sect. It's nothing but a forest with a few low level.

Thanks to the Scarlet Fan grass, stronger beast aren't around. So he'll be able to make it through without much trouble.

He then had to crawl through a small space where he and Fa Lin used to climb through when they were younger.

It brought back a lot of memories of his mother. But he had to find out what was going on. He planned on questioning another childhood friend of his Fa Xuomu.

As a child he'd sneak around the sect, he knew the guards patrol pattern so using that knowledge he easily snuck into his friends room.

*Knock Knock Knock!* He gently knocked three times on Xuomu's door.

"Xuomu!"

*Knock Knock Knock!*

"Xuomu wake up! It's me Fa Ken!" as he says those words stumbling could be heard. Opening his door was a slightly obese man with small slit like eyes.

"B-brother Fa Ken it's been some time!" says Xuomu but his tone betrayed his expression.

"Xuomu is there something going on at the sect? You and Fa Lin have been acting strangely." hearing this sweat began to pore from his face as he released a sigh.

"Brother during the time you dedicated tensions have been rising in the sect. Your father and the sect Lord has been in at odds due to turning down many business deals with a few high class families and sects." says Xuomu.

The Irons blade sect is a blacksmithing sect, that makes it's income by making weapon's and equipment. The Iron blade sect was once known as one of the most powerful sects in the city.

But like everything good it had to end. Other sects began rise and many would make weapons of equal and sometimes better quality.

Not only that the sect failed adapt to the times, it didn't try to make any connections with any higher class sects and families/clans as sects then would just open up their own shops and sell their goods.

Soon it found itself with no allies and that's when, the other sects and clans struck. Jealous of the families success in the past, they made sure to suppress them blocking them from any good business opportunities.

Though right now the sect has managed to scrape by selling their own weapons to many smaller businesses, they've also managed to get other deals from other sects and families from different cities and even so those are very few, right now the sect is only a shell of it's former self.

"I see I must speak to father." says Fa Ken but he was stepped Fa Xuomu. "Wait Fa Ken be careful there's has been trying to make connections with a few shady sects and families, to conduct business deals behind the Sect Lord's back."

Hearing this Fa Ken nodded and thanked his friends for the information before stepping out.

*Boom!* He heard a large explosion in the distance his eyes widened. He jumped up onto the roof and ran as fast he could towards the location.

What he saw in the distance was his father and uncle clashing blades. Their were the other Elders as well fighting along with a few men in black and red in masks.

He then thought back Xuomu's words. His eyed became misty with tears as adrenaline pumped in his blood, enhancing his body with qi he charged at the battle.

"You bastard how dare you betray me! Your own family!" shouts his uncle.

"Me a traitor? For years I've tried to convince you to take deals that would make our families situation even better, yet you still did nothing. Our ancestor are probably rolling in their graves! We were a flying dragon and now we're nothing but insects!" shouts his uncle firing off a flying slash which was deflected by his uncle.

"Hmph! Unlike you I didn't have to suck on the tit of the demonic sect!" shouts his uncle hearing this his Fa Ken stopped in his tracks.

"Father is this true?!" shouted Fa Ken he didn't know if it was rage or sorrow. He's heard of all the evil the dark sect has committed, everyone has regardless if they're a cultivator or not.

"Fa Ken!" said his father as he dropped his guard. He looked at his son who had tears on his face and a look of disappointment.

He looked away not willing to look his son in the eye.

"Stay out of this boy. This is between us adults." he says as he brandishes he blade and looks towards his brother.

"Fa Ken take Fa Lin and leave the sect for a few hours." says his uncle.

"What but-!" he tried to protest but he got a stern look from his uncle.

"Leave boy! This might be the end of our sect, as the next Lord of our sect, you must come back and reclaim our smithing and martial techniques!"

"What! But I thought Fa Li-!"

"She has no interest in the title. So your father and I agreed to making you the head." said his uncle he looked to his father who nodded his head in agreement.

The two only had grievances with each other, their children are not apart of that equation.

"Father uncle!" shouts a feminine voice it was Fa Lin.

The two ignored her and rushed at each other with their bodies and weapon clad in qi, the two then clashed!

*BOOOOOM!!!* Their clash kick up a mini storm

Their qi was powerful it flung both Fa Lin away nearly doing the same to Fa Ken.

It was only when a mysterious figure who Fa Ken recognized as Ken Hai appeared and caught her.

"So it's started." said Ken Hai calmly.

"Ken Hai? Why are you here? How are you here aren't you on a journey to the Illusory Dragon Empire?!" asked Fa Ken.

"Technically I am. I'll explain later, follow me my subordinates will handle the battles currently taking place." said Ken Hai.

"Can you handle that Zero?" A beautiful almost feminine man, with golden hair and bright green eyes appeared from behind Ken Hai.

He wore crimson armour the likes of which Fa Ken has never seen before.

"Yes father." came a manly deep voice surprising Fa Ken who thought he'd originally be a woman due to his features.

"Follow me, we need to collect your sects treasures and valuables, the other sects and clans are going to investigate the battle currently taking place." Fa Ken nodded at Ken Hai words.

He understood they are many vultures who'd want a sects treasure even a weak one.

"Ken Hai please explain what's going on?" asked Fa Ken.

"Like I said I'll explain everything after this. We'll also need to round up the other sect members." said Ken Hai but this confused Fa Ken.

"Why?" he asked.

"Simple I'm planning inviting your sect to my country." said Ken Hai.

"Your country?"

"It's been a long year."

"Raaaggh!" screamed Fa Ming as he swung his blade at his brother.

*Boooom!* Their sword qi clashed causing the very air to shake. The two then separated as sweat ran down their faces, the both of them were covered in cut wounds due to the stray amounts of sword qi.

The then prepared to clash again but!

*Foosh!* A golden haired man appeared with a single punched to the jaw knocked out Fa Xintian.

Fa Ming stood there in shock to see his brother knocked out so easily.

But he didn't get a chance as the to respond as the golden haired man's body blurred a kick was delivered which made him fly up 30 feet into the air.

Zero easily caught and handcuffed him, he then did the same to Fa Xintian. Without a word he disappeared and began to knock and handcuff all the sect lord's and all members of the dark sect who were fighting in five minutes he covered the entirety of the battle field which is two and a half miles.

"Axl, I need you to send some officers and get some cells ready." said Zero as if talking to someone.

"So be it." as Zero said those words many men in futuristic black armour appeared in a flash of light, they had lights which swapped from red and blue from their armour and the letters NAPD embolden on their chest.

"I'm officer Han Kim what are your orders sir." said an officer.

"You are to simply arrest these men." they nodded and got to work.

It's been two hours and right now Fa Ken can't believe his eyes. He looks out the window in wonder at the city, not only him but also Fa Lin, it was wonderful they almost forgot about the coup that took place.

"Ken Hai you really made all of this!" said Fa Ken in shock. Hearing this Ken Hai chuckled and replied "Yep!" while pouring himself some tea.

"All the citizens were previously mortals, cultivators with a broken cultivation or reploids, artificial humans I created." said Ken Hai as he took a sip of his tea.

"Artificial humans?" said Fa Ken as Ken Hai nodded, then Fa Lin spoke up. "Big brother Ken what do you mean by previous mortals?" she asked.

"I created a pill which allows a mortal to cultivate." hearing this Fa Ken eye's widened as his mouth hung open so did Fa Lin.

"That's amazing!" said Fa Lin.

"Does that mean you were the one kidnapping mortals?" asked Fa Ken, Ken Hai simply nodded.

"I didn't force them I asked them if they wanted to come, they all joined me." at the those words Fa Ken didn't know what to say, but atleast everyone in this city would be able to live a good life.

"That's great! Everyone in this city should be able to live a good life." he said with a happy look on his face.

"Good because there is someone who wants to see you." as Ken Hai said those words a muscular old man walked in.

"Old man Lee!" said Fa Ken with a smile as tears formed in his eyes. The old man smiled as the two hugged.
