Chapter 51: Arrival at Scarlet Fan City

It's been ten days and we finally arrived at Scarlet Fan city. It's named that due to the abundant amount said grass that grows around the city it isn't really used much but I found out it produces a smell that martial beast hate.

During these past few days we've done nothing but kill martial beast that approach us. And camping but we finally arrived. The city was slightly bigger than Red Iron city but it was beautiful just the same. Probably on the surface.

Exiting the carriage I turn to Hong Yu "I'll be visiting the Iron Blade sect, I'll meet at Golden Eye Pavilion." I told she nodded as I went to ask for directions. Though I got the same stares as back in Red Iron City but people quickly went back to minding their own business. Well except for some of the women, so I snuck into an alley way and used my light qi to bens the light around me making invisible.

Which brought up a large number of stairs where I was told the sect is located I removed the cloaking I did on myself

Going up I was met with a gigantic gate which had two guards at the entrance. On top of the gates were the writing Iron Blade Sect in Chinese yes everything is in Chinese. Walking up the gates the guards immediately stopped me from entering. "Who are you and what is your business with our sect?" One of them asked.

"It's a pleasure to meet you my name is Ken Hai, I came here to meet my friend Fa Ken." I said with a small bow. Hearing my name they narrowed their eyes for a bit until they widened. "May you show us your alchemists badge?" Said the guard, to which I obliged.

"You really are the genius Ken Hai!" Said the guards in shock.

"Please follow me the young master is currently sparring in our sects training area. I shall personally guide you!" He says as he gestures for me to follow him in. So I did walking around the compound it was way bigger than the one in the Len Clan. Seeing Hong Ji's castle was already impressive enough so this didn't really bother me.

Soon we saw a group of cultivators mostly in their teens crowding around a fighting arena. Fa Ken was currently in battle with a one of his sect mates.

He was definitely winning his opponent was constantly under pressure from his strikes. Closing my eyes I listened to the sounds of their blades clashing.

"Hmmm!" I silently hum. Fa Ken's strikes are incredibly hard just by the sound while his opponents are lot quieter.

With another strike Fa Ken wins.

"Would anyone else like to spar?" he asks the crowd but no one put up their hand. Well except me.

"Long time no see Fa Ken." I told him as his eyes immediately shot up and a smile came onto his face.

"Ken Hai! Your here?" Jumping into the ring with a completely normal sword with a just a bit of durability runes.

"Ken Hai? The genius that passed the alchemist test at just the age of fifteen!" said someone in shock.

"It really is him! By the clothes alone I can tell it's him!" said another person with clear excitement in his voice.

'Haha. Laugh it up.'

"Yeah I came to see how you're doing my friend. And a spar if you don't mind." I say as I brandished my sword and entered a sword form.

"Hmph! I'd never refuse a spar with you. I won't be easy as last time!" says Fa Ken.

With out any announcements the both of dashed towards the other at incredible speeds before jumping many feet in the air and clashing.

A small wind passing through the entire field as we clashed. "Your eyes are gold?"

"Side effect of a martial skill." I reply but we just continued on with our battle.

As we continued clash all over the arena, we then used our qi to gain the advantage over each other and as we battled.

Our multiple after images appeared around the ring. As our clashes sent shockwaves throughout the entire compound.

"This amazing not only is he able to keep up with our youngmaster he's also able to push him back!"

'Ken Hai this amazing! You've made such progress in only a couple of months!' thought Fa Ken as he buckled under another attack from Ken Hai.

He couldn't believe his friend got so so much stronger he's able to push him so much. He couldn't help but smile as he used his qi to enhance his arms and legs as he pushed back Ken Hai.

The two then separated jumping back a couple feet from each other. The two had sweat on them but the two didn't feel tired at all.

The two went into different stances as sword qi enveloped their blades.

"You managed to learn sword qi!?" says Fa Ken in surprise. "Of course I trained a lot after we battled!"

*Clang!* the crossed blades again sparks flying from their blades as the aura from the swords started cutting the arena. Ken Hai tried slashing at Fa Ken to which his opponent dodged.

Fa Ken tried delivering a kick to Ken Hai but it was blocked by Ken Hai. The two stopped as Fa Ken released a sigh. "I didn't think you'd grow this much. But it's good to see again." He says.

"You two let's just call this one a draw."

"Sure."
