I watched you..

As I watched you walk away down the street,

My heart filled with concern, hoping you're complete,

I didn't want to turn a blind eye, you see,

But in that moment, there was little I could decree.

Your eyes, oh, your eyes, a captivating sight,

They hold a depth that ignites my words, taking flight,

Yet they appeared clouded, burdened with weight,

And something about them made my longing escalate.

There's an allure, a mystery within those eyes,

A pull that makes me yearn, unable to disguise,

I'm drawn to unravel the stories they hold,

To understand the emotions, both timid and bold.

I wish I could offer solace, wipe away your tears,

Embrace you, ease your burdens, and calm your fears,

But from afar, all I can do is yearn and desire,

To be a source of comfort, to set your soul on fire.

So, as you fade into the distance, out of sight,

Know that there's someone here, embracing the night,

Someone captivated by your cloudy gaze,

Yearning to know you more, in a thousand different ways.
