In my bones, shadows reside,
Hope fills my skin, a gleaming tide,
Adorned with jewels, a delicate rope,
Around my neck, hands, and legs, I cope.
Once, I held faith in your name,
Love and trust, an eternal flame,
In shades of orange and red, it burned,
But now, my youthful pride is spurned.
Yet, there's a tale that contempt imparts,
Of a distant land, where dreams may restart,
Where you and I need not seek, but find,
A place where we're not lost, but aligned.
In the realm of judges and jury's might,
We stand united, souls intertwined,
For blame rests not solely on your side,
Fault finds no solace in me, a hide.
