The Birth of the Twins (Chpt. 1)

The screams of a woman carry through the hallway.

"Sir, sir! Queen Ember is in labor. She

requests to see you after the birth." "Okay take me there." "Yes, sir." The maid runs through the

halls with the king behind her. Another scream, and another. They arrive at the doors. "Please

stay here sir. I will go in to help with the birth." She bows as he nods. Another scream followed

by another. Then silence. The doors open and the same maid comes out. "Sir, congratulations.

Queen Ember has given birth to twins. Both are healthy, one girl and one boy." The king smiles

then starts to cry. "C-can I go in?" "Yes sir, Queen Ember is quite weak. She will have to rest for

the day." "Okay thank you Grace." The king goes into the room. On the bed is a white haired

green eyed elf, Queen Ember. In her arms are two children, both with red in the roots but the

rest is white. Something that all of them end up with. The king himself has black roots with

redish orange hair. Only those who come with direct blood of royalty end up with this. "Hello

honey." The Queen smiles as she welcomes her husband, King Aragorn. "Do you know what to

name them?" He asks her while sitting next to her. "Hmm...How about her being Frost and he'll

be Earendil?" "That's nice." The door opens and two other maids come in. "My Queen, I've

prepared the prince and princess's room. May I take them to rest?" "Yes of course they need a

rest as well." She passes them to both of the maids. They bow and then leave the room with the

children in hand.

Once the door closes the maids smirk at each other. "Heh, now that we got the children we

should get out fast. The spell won't last long." "Let's get out through the nursery." "Sounds

good." The maids walk through the halls towards the nursery. They are being approached by

the housekeeper, Ms Lackford. She bows and says "Ladies, where are you taking the children?" They bow and respond with, "To the nursery Ms. Lackford." She looks at

both of them then after a while says, "Very well, Lucy, come here." She motions another maid

over. "Have you ever seen these maids?" She looks at the two fake maids down and up. She

lands on one of their eyes. 'We are new maids.' They used a spell to make her tell the head

maid this to her. "They are two of the new maids Ms. Lackford." The head maid nods and says,

"Okay go on with your tasks." The women walk away from the fake maids.

They walk to the nursery after a while they arrive. They open the door to an empty room. "Hurry,

send the signal we have to get out of here fast!" The maid holding the boy says as she sets him

down and undoes her spell. Her appearance quickly changes from an elf to a normal looking

human. Only that she isn't a human, she's a witch. Then not long after both look like humans.

"Okay I sent the signal, they should be here soon." They gather the children and look out of the

window.

Soon they see a signal appear in the sky, two words only 'Kill' and 'Escape'.

Immediately the women jump out of the window onto a tree branch. They jump down from the

tree and run into the forest. In the distance they hear an explosion. They stop and turn around in

the distance there is smoke and fire coming from the kingdom.

This is my second book to be released. This is a whole different series from ARMAGEDDON so please don't mix the two up. The kingdom name is just random. I dunno what any of the two words mean or if they are words? Anyway please comment and stuff.
