"Who is this, Emily?"
"Emily, Why did you being someone into the village?"
Two men with dark skin, and red eyes, putting on leather Armors; stared at Aaron and Protean with a frown on their faces.
"Calm down you two, This is Aaron. Now both of you should move aside and let us in!"
"Hey young girl, you are the daughter of the Commander and chief, but that didn't mean you can talk to us in that manner."
"Say that again." Emily's eyes glowed red.
"What are you doing, Rob? Let her in." The other said to his Fellow guard, and added:
"Do you want her to beat you again?"
Rob glared at him. "Keep your Voice down." He then turned to Emily. "You know the situation of our race, are you sure he's not a spy?"
"He has a demon blood and can also use Demonic energy, so he can't be a spy."
The two looked at each other, then nodded at her.
"Ok Emily." Rob nodded, and opened the small gate.
"Let's go in." Emily grabbed Aaron's wrist and pulled him inside.
The two men's gazes were fixed on him, Rob made a "My eyes are on you." Gesture to him.
'Wow, That was something. And what situation is the demon in?' Aaron thought in confusion.
"Who is he?"
"I have never seen Emily with a guy?"
"She is even holding his hand."
"Is she dragging him to the chief?"
"What wrong have such a handsome kid committed?"
"Let's find out."
"Who is this, Emily? Did you refuse to follow me for this guy?" A young boy with blue hair, looking around 15 years asked with folded hands. Two other boys stood behind him.
"Get out from my sights Vince, I won't ask again."
"What? Are you chasing me away because of this country bumpkin, he doesn't even look like a demon."
"Yes, Vince. He looked like those pathetic Humans."
"Yes, If not for Emily, I would have taught him a Lesson."
The two guys behind Vince said with a sneer, staring at Aaron with disdain.
"Oi! I think she followed him because of that Griffin on his shoulder." The one at the right added.
"That's nothing, Vince has a Raven and also a deadly horn dog."
'A Raven? Protean won't draw attention if he's a Raven, and this fool might have a Magic ring or familiar ring. I forgot what it's called... But that'll give me a benefit If I could have a Magic ring.' He placed his hand on Emily's right shoulder.
"Let me handle this."
"Uh?" Emily was stunned.
Aaron walked forward and stood in front of her, staring at the three.
"What do you think you are doing, You toddler?"
"I'll only ask two questions?" Aaron raised two fingers to the three.
"Oh really? And what are these questions?" The one on the left said with a sneer.
"First: Do you have a Magic ring? Second: can I get the core of your Raven?"
Emily: "....."
"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" The three burst out laughing.
The onlookers frowned slightly, they stood at a distance watching the children.
"Magic ring? Are you referring to my enchanted ring? Hahaha... I don't know why you agreed to follow such a fool."
Protean's eyes turned bloodred, hearing these fools insulting his master. Not only him, Even Emily was trembling in anger.
"And, have the core of my Raven? Are you mad?! Giving you the core is akin to killing my familiar. Even though we demons can only have two familiars, I'm not planning on killing one."
"Ok then, I'll just have to kill your familiar and take the core, I don't need your enchanted ring anymore." Aaron said arrogantly.
"You Bastard!!" Vince and the two boys behind him were enraged.
"Who do you think you are? Coming to our village and acting all mighty. Vince is an Awakened stage warrior, do you think you can face him and his familiars?!" The one at the right yelled in rage.
"I won't use all my strength, because I don't want to kill you, so just summon your familiar, And please it should be the Raven." Aaron said in an exhausted tone.
"You! Deadly horn dog, show yourself!" Vince pointed the ring in front of him, the next moment; a red 40 centimeters Dog with a 5 centimeters length horn on its head appeared in front of them.
"Step back Aaron, let me deal with h--"
"--Shhh." Aaron shushed her, staring at her over his shoulder.
Seeing how timid Emily was to Aaron, Vince gritted his teeth and yelled:
"Attack him!"
"What is that kid doing?"
"That is Vince, The son of the best Hunter in the village, who is also an Archer Class."
"Should we stop him?"
"Wait, for Emily to follow a boy. This boy might have something in him that caught her attention."
"You might be right."
"Let just wait, if it escalated. We'll intervene."
The villagers muttered to each other.
Aaron groaned in frustration. "I said the Raven, not a dog!" He stared at the dog charging towards him.
"Should I kill this animal?"
"No Protean, I need to make a statement in this village. For these fools to respect me." The two whispered to themselves.
"What will happen if I kill both his familiars?" He asked Emily.
"With your position, they won't be able to do anything. And they're the ones who started it." Emily said, her eyes fixed on the dog. She was set to act if anything goes south.
Aaron nodded and drew out his dagger, the dog lunged at him with its Claws and jaws wide open.
Whoosh!!
{All Seeing Eyes.}
{Success rate: 100%.}
"...."
"?!!!"
"...."
Everyone including Emily froze In shock, as the head of the dog fell on the gound, followed by its body. No one saw how Aaron moved past the dog, let alone cutting off its head.
"What just? My familiar!" Vince staggered backward, and threw up a mouthful of Blood.
"Vince! Are you ok?!!"
"Vince!!"
'What just happened?' Even Emily was stunned in place.
"Did that kid just killed Vince's familiar with one strike?"
"At such a Young age, he's already a killer?!"
"Where did Emily find this devil from?!"
"What should we do? The Hunter will be enraged if he returns and find out his son familiar has been killed."
"There is nothing we can do, the chief will handle this, his daughter is the one who bought this boy to the village."
"Yeah."
"How dare you?!! Black Raven! Show yo--"
"--Stop Vince."
Everyone turned their heads to the side, seeing a man walking towards them.
Emily: "Dad?"
"It's the Chief."
"The commander is here!"
