I guess news finally came

Hidden behind a thick bush in the forest, a group of superhuman warriors secretly watched the hideout where the commotion came from.

After meeting Legolas along the way, despite their suspicions, they still decided to move forward until they finally discovered the hideout.

By the time that they arrived, all the players were already wiped out.

The secret hideout was silent like a graveyard. There were no activities detected in the surface, but the scouting specialists among the group of warriors already detected the secret door that was hidden from view.

All the warriors that were in this group were weak Grade F superhumans, and from the signs of battle that they saw, this was a battle that involved Grade E superhumans. Without hesitation, they called for reinforcements.

Almost at the same time that Governor Bam received the call for reinforcements, he also received the news of the antidote already being found.

Motivated by the fact that the assassins who tried to kill his friend were found, Governor Bam mobilized a large part of the warriors that he had at his disposal currently as they all rushed towards the secret hideout.

It took them a few minutes, but they finally arrived.

Governor Bam came with the elite warriors of the Blue Sea prefecture, including his Army Commander who was a powerful Grade E Elementalist and the war strategist of the Blue Sea prefecture who was a Grade E Summoner.

These 2 were warriors that rarely ever needed to be mobilized for battles due to their status, but this time, Governor Bam took the both of them along.

With the 3 Grade E superhumans leading the charge, the group of warriors soon got prepared as they stormed inside the secret hideout.

The hideout was eerily silent like it was already abandoned but it was not until they arrived at the massive hall that they discovered the truth.

For some strange reason, the assassins did not escape yet and rather seemed to be engaging in some kind of ritual.

This time, not just the Grade E superhumans but the Grade F superhumans were also seated around the large occultic drawing in the middle of the hall as they seemed to pray fervently to a higher existence.

The difference this time though was that there were spaces in the occultic drawing that were not occupied, their occupants were already dead.

These spaces seemed to affect the ritual significantly but they continued praying as they drained their mana to empower this ritual.

"Almighty Clown, bestow us with your blessings!"

"Liberate us from the limitations and ignorance of this world!"

"Send down your fire to cleanse the world of all order!"

"Let the worship of chaos return again!"

Governor Bam felt goosebumps rising up his body on listening.

As he listened to the strange incantations and prayers of these occultists, he felt a strange power rising and he dared not let this strange power grow.

"Attack! Kill them all!"

The group of warriors that came with him finally jumped in to fight.

The strange thing though was that none of the occultists reacted. Even as they started being slaughtered by the intruders, none of them made effort to stand up or escape as all their attention was still in the ritual.

Before they died, they yelled. "For the Clown!"

Till the very last warrior, none of them made effort to escape. With tears of joy and craziness in his eyes, the last Grade E warrior also yelled. "For the Clown!"

Governor Bam stood in a daze as he looked at the blood that he spilled; he was still confused. "Are these guys psychopaths?"

[Global Announcement:]

>Congratulations to the players: Horny Assassin, Mashed Potato Lord, Sleepy Fiend, Ghost Sentry, Your Father, Your Step Uncle, Thanos's Dad, Blue River…, for completing the first Grade E mission<

In the spawn point, the players who all died to the hands of the psychopaths found themselves respawning again as they still relished on the feeling of having completed a Grade E mission not long after starting the beta testing.

On spawning, the flames of joy in them were kindled by the new global announcement that popped up in their virtual interface status.

Horny Assassin was ecstatic. "Damn, I appeared on TV!"

He laughed like a maniac. "Hahaha…, Manchester f*cking united!"

All the players were happy for completing the mission, but some of them did it at a high price. One of the rules of Dominator to prevent addiction to the game was limiting revival times to 6 times for one week.

For a player like Horny Assassin, after dying 4 times in such a short time, he only had 2 other opportunities remaining to revive for the whole week.

He was depressed of course, but him appearing on TV completely offset the discontent of having only 2 revive chances remaining.

Like the other players, Ghost Sentry was also happy with his fortune. "My path to becoming a pro player becomes smoother after this, it would have been more perfect if I was the only one who got the mission and completed it".

He was so obsessed with getting his goal that he did not mind being selfish just to get it, he was desperate to become a pro player.

And it was this desperation that drove him to find opportunities. After this mission, he already recognized one opportunity.

"The NPC that left this Grade E mission must be a high-tier NPC, probably even a special NPC that can release main storyline missions".

"Instead of groping around, why not hug the thighs of this NPC? If I can, my path to becoming a pro player would become even more brilliantly set up".

Once he thought of it, Ghost Sentry acted on it. He guessed that the NPC would probably be in any of the nearest villages.

He now wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone, getting to the nearest village to fulfill the beginner mission of locating the nearest village while also completing his personal mission of locating the mysterious NPC.

The only problem was that Ghost Sentry was not the only one who thought of this solution. For different reasons, 2 other players also thought of this plan.

Blue River moved fast through the forest. "I must get to meet this special NPC before everyone else, meeting him will help our Blue Mist Guild a lot".

After a long satisfying sleep, Legolas finally woke up in the evening.

This time, he did not just wake up to see his pets lazing around, there was someone else in the room with him, a human.

Akela laid down beside the window where he looked outside at the wide expanse of land, Predator was fast asleep and snoring loudly, while Lucky lazily licked her paws while lying on top of the window pane.

Apart from the pets, Sophia was the intruder as this beautiful lady was now standing beside the wardrobe arranging a set of new clothes neatly inside it.

On noticing him wake up, she jumped. "Ah! You're awake?"

"Yes". Legolas rubbed his nose as he tried hard not to sneak glances.

"Please come to the living room, food is already prepared".

Legolas did not reject; his stomach was already grumbling. "Ok".

After eating to his fill in the large dining room, Legolas smiled at the Keane family who hosted him politely. Throughout the past few minutes, they kept on expressing their gratitude to him for saving their father and husband.

Before leaving, he asked a question. "Is there any trending news?"

"News about what?" Sophia asked, puzzled.

"The Clown Society".

Instantly after Legolas spoke, one of the servants of the Keane household came running into the dining room while panicking.

Legolas turned to look at the servant. "I guess news finally came".
